I purchased this palette 2nd hand off a friend who didn't use it and honestly I got a amazing deal. This palette is incredible. I hAve used a massive range of high end and drugstore makeup and this is just insane. The shadows feel like butter they aren't powdery so there is no fall out. They blend out so easy and the pigment is amazing. Definitely a favery.

Tips: Go light handed they are super pigmeted it's easier to build the colour up then to try take some off.
This was the first eyeshadow palette I purchased myself (since then I have bought many more) But this is a very nice palette. There is a good selection of colours, although I would like it more if it came with a mid tone warm brown, and I like that there are 8 matte and 8 shimmer shades as this makes it perfect to create a number of versatile looks. This is fairly easy to blend, but if you accidentally apply too much eyeshadow at once it can become more difficult to blend and sometimes will not completely blend out, but this doesn't really happen that much and if the eye has been set first with a powder (I use the cream shade from this palette or the Rimmel Wake Me Up in transparent) I don't really have any issues. This is a very high quality palette, and perfect to start with if you don't have many eyeshadows.
This is probably the most versatile palette I have used. With one row of mattes and one row of shimmers you can make so many different looks so easily. The shadows are so pigmented and smooth, Lorac has my favourite eye shadow formula ever. They're easy to blend and you don't really need a primer. There is minimal fall out- only a bit with the shimmer colours. The packaging is really nice; it's slim and easy to travel with and has a handy mirror. I would 100% recommend this palette
I was lucky enough to be gifted this by a good friend of mine, and I'm super blown away by how amazing this palette is! I'm a huge fan of the smoky eye look and all the shades included in this palette are gorgeous for creating smokey looks! I love the palette packaging itself, gorgeous sleek black packaging, simple but effective. All of the shades in this palette are ones I'd use, I hate when I buy a palette and theres those few shades that I'd never let come anywhere near my face but I can honestly say I've used every single shade in this palette and would continue to do so. The colours are excellent, very pigmented so I don't need to load my brush with a tonne of product, the black shadow is actually black which I love, perfect for smokey eye. I have found it has slightly better staying powder than my cheaper palettes, but I think it'd last alot longer if I actually stopped being so cheap and forked out for a proper shadow primer (;
I absolutely love my lorac pro palette. It's extremely pigmented and easy to blend. You can create many looks with this palette but I love my smokey eyes. The dark colors in here are amazing and the black color is actually black! Can't go wrong with this palette.
This palette is a beauty, it's a perfect neutral palette with a range of mattes and shimmers, lights and dark. If you want a stand alone palette to create a huge range of eye looks, we'll you can't really go wrong with this one!
I purchased this palette about 6 months ago from amazon. I think it worked out to be about $75 including shipping (which took just over a week). This price is about average for a high end palette. It also came with a mini sample of the Lorac eye primer which I haven't actually used too much yet.
This palette comes in a sleek, thin black case. It looks lovely when it's new but unfortunately the black attracts fingerprints and makeup so while I've tried my hardest to keep it clean, it looks well Used! Once you open it up, you have a small mirror and than the shadows. You can also fold the mirror right over if you want too.
The best part of course is these amazing shadows. You get 16 different colors and the best part is there is heaps of Mattes! 8 to be exact and than 8 shimmers. I adore matte shadows so I love palettes with a large amount of them. Also these matte shadows are pigmented and just glide over your eye without being chalky. With them being so soft, you will pick up excess product that needs to be tapped off. You don't even need to rub your brush in, just touching the shadow will give you a good amount. The color range of the mattes is perfect. You get your bases/highlights of cream and white, you have browns and a black and than a light mauve and pink. The only thing I miss is a peach color. I love using that color for in the crease but obviously I can use something from a different Palette! My fave matte color is probably taupe, it's the perfect brown that's not too warm or cool or dark. now for the shimmers, these are also incredibly soft and pigmented. They can be built up for intense color or buffed out for a soft wash. You also get a great range here, with a couple of great inner corner shades and warm bronzey shades plus a deep Purple and gray-blue. The purple and gray are not super shimmery and can almost pass as matte if you buff them in on the crease. My favorite color is nude which is a light pink shimmer, I've actually hit pan on it now. It is perfect on the lid and inner corner.
All the shadows blend very well and can be built up easily although they don't need much building to be intense. I do wish the black was more intense though, it's a soft black. I am also personally not fn of the gold as its too orange for my skin tone. Just my personal preference Though!
Wear time for these is good, but i do notice fading by the end of the day especially with the lighter colors. These will also crease on me if I don't prime my eyes first but every shadow does that on me Anyway!
This isn't my number 1 palette but I love it dearly and really enjoy using it. I can make so many different looks from it and don't feel bored at all.
After much debate, this one was of the first high end palettes i purchased, and this was only purchased this year, so it is not something i have owned for a long long time.
It comes in a slim, slender black matte palette. From the outside, this palette does not look like anything special, but looks can be deceiving, and that is the case with this palette.
Inside, this palette is basically perfection. It is made up of half matte shadows, and half shimmer shadows with 8 shadows of each. I think this is a perfect combo and makes it suitable for everyone because it offers a bit of both.
The colours are stunning. I pretty much love every single colour, but there are some definite favourites, which already have dents in them! Such as the browns which are perfect for natural looks, and transition shades. Plus the colour Pewter is a beautiful taupe with a purple undertone and it is gorgeous! I try to sneak it into my daily makeup routine, even though it creates more of a dramatic eye.
The colours are pigmented, smooth, buttery and so blend-able. However, i am pretty rough with my eyeshadows, and i find these eyeshadows are so soft, they can really kick up a mess and leave eyeshadow waste everywhere.
Still, I think this eyeshadow palette is incredible, and if you are just starting to get into eye shadow, i think this palette would be a great investment for you because it has a great colour selection, with the perfect combination of finishes.
Tips: Buy it. Right now, go and buy it! Or at least add it onto your wishlist
When I first got this palette and swatched everything (within in seconds of tearing through the bubblewrap lol) I was a little disappointed. Every shade just seemed so warm on my skin tone....so off to the dark drawer of palette doom it went. A week or so later one of my girlfriends asked me if she could see it as she couldn't decide between the PRO and PRO 2 so I busted it out again and for some reason (maybe because two of us were looking at it?) it didn't seem so blah. Cut to today and it has slowly but surely worked its way into my bathroom and replaced my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette as part of my go-to daily eye makeup routine. It took me a while to "warm up" to it, but it really is a fantastic workhorse of a palette!
Pros - great amount of mattes and shimmers, unlike some other neutral palettes where you only get two or three mattes, this has eight! - speaking of mattes, they’re soft, buttery and a dream to blend - versatility - not only do I use these as eyeshadows but also as brow powder and liner (with a damp MAC 263 brush) which cuts down how many products I need to take with me when I travel - sturdy, no-nonsense packaging, which is slim and travels well
Cons - if I don’t use a primer (mine came with a small tube of LORAC’s eyelid primer) my oily lids WILL them within 2 hours (tops!), however this happens with all powder shadows for me lol - I do wish there was one neutral or cooler toned brown matte, just to make life easier - the shade Champagne is a glitter bomb and I always forget and end up with glitter all over my face >.> - the shade Deep Purple is mostly black; the black base completely overwhelms the purple shimmer which is a shame - all these shades are dupable/you may already have these shades in other palettes
Tips: - I got mine on Amazon for $42USD and it shipped/arrived in under a fortnight for about $8USD
I have seen and heard tuns of reviews on this product but never really tried it until it was gifted to me by my best friend she said you've gone to long without it. Now I can't stop using it I'm like we're have u been all my life and how have I lived without you.
Tips: Taupe you're life.
The Lorac pro palette was the first professional palette I purchase and ever since my standards on how eyeshadows should work were set pretty high.
These shadows have the perfect formula for being creamy to apply, but powder enough to perform well to settle on the lids, be worked into creases and give an even coverage. There is little fall out if you work with a light hand as a small amount of shadow is heavily saturated with pigment that you need a light movement to achieve the look you want, building up the intensity is easy.
They last for a long period and are a wet/dry formula that means you can add water via a brush to these shadows for a foiled look for a more dramatic look.
This palette still gets heavy use for my everyday needs.
