I have 2 of these one lives at my house and one lives in my handbag. I love this so much, the lotion is the perfect thickness, and has a delicate but lovely scent. It leaves hands soft and cared for without being overly greasy, and helps massively to reduce dryness. Honestly the cutest pink packaging you'll ever see.

Soap and Glory are the absolute masters of body products. They've nailed the most amazing formulas, cutest packaging and done it all for a miniscule pricetag that gets me Mecca Beauty Loop points. I've been sold on these for ages and now I can get them in NZ I'm so so happy.
But I digress......
The Hand Food actually comes in a wee half price, half sized handbag option as well - $4 ish for 50 mls. I'd recommend getting the smaller size to carry around.
Packaging is the typical S&G dusky pink with graphic labelling that is sturdy enough not to leak when thrown into bags and carted around on planes (trust me on that one!)
The cream is very thick - borderline body butter consistency - and white, with a delicate scent that is apparently rose and bergamot. Other key ingredients are shea butter, macadamia oil and (interestingly) marshmallow.
It absorbs pretty quickly - not super fast but it *is* really thick, and the residue isn't at all greasy. Hands are left with a soft scent, and lusciously hydrated.
It's so cheap you could apply it a dozen times a day if you needed to, but you really won't, it gets the job done.
Cheap luxury that earns me rewards? I'm so IN....
Tips: Soap and Glory have a range of minis at Mecca Maxima - check these out as a starting place
I love this stuff it smells so good! The scent isn't overpowering which I love because most hand creams are. It soaks into the skin fast and isn't greasy. I can apply it and use my phone straight after and it doesn't mess up my phone screen. I love the packaging and smell so much I think this is the best hand cream ever!! It's also so so so cheap too for the quality that you're getting!
This has to be the best hand cream I have ever used! It comes in a cute 50ml squeezy tube with a flip top lid with the attractive retro pink packaging that Soap & Glory are known for.
I work with water so my hands get a thrashing. My fingers start to peel and they look awful. This is where hand food saves me! I use it every morning and night and I no longer have dry, peeling fingers. It is a lovely thick cream which absorbs so well and leaves my hands so soft and smooth.
It has a beautiful delicate scent. Sweet and floral. A little bit definitely goes a long way. I am very impressed with hand food. It is so affordable and works like a charm. Will be buying more.
This is the best hand cream I have ever used. I get dry flakey skin on my hands in the winter due to the weather and I have to use hand sanitiser often at my work. This hand cream is not greasy, it absorbs quickly, and smells great, on top of actually making my hands feel human instead of lizardy. I love it.
Tips: Buy the mini travel one to chuck in your purse for on the go softness
I always have one of these hand creams on the go. I have a habit of applying hand cream when I’m sat at traffic lights in the morning. My car hand cream therefore needs to meet the following criteria: easy to apply (flip top lid) and fast absorbing. This one fits the bill and also does its actual job, leaving me with soft, well moisturised hands. I prefer the ‘sugar crush’ scent as the ‘original pink’ can be a bit heady when used in a small enclosed space like a car. This is also an absolute bargain at only $5 for the handbag size. I love having a variety of hand creams scattered around the place but this will always be one of them.
A pink squeezable tube with a flip top lid Original Pink rose and bergamot that’s the fragrance to me more like a bit of bitter rose and vanilla Pleasant enough. The hand cream is mid consistently, white in colour, not waxy or greasy. It quickly absorbs into my skin within a couple of minutes so no worry about touching anything after applying and leaving a greasy mark. It’s called hand food and yes I guess it is, it does leave my hands moisturised and soft but I have noticed the more I use it the better condition my skin has become. It’s a reasonable price for a large tube (125mil) I have hard working hands and this cream ticks all the boxes, it relives dry tight and is slowly improving the condition of my skin makes them feel soft. I’ll easily repurchase this.
Tips: Slather in on
I literally use this all the time and have three tubes, all in different handbags so I’m never without this amazing hand cream. I love the rose and bergamot scent, it’s so luxurious and makes you feel special. It’s also got the best formula that does wonders for your hands.
I am a big fan of Soap & Glory’s affordable products and super-cute retro packaging. So when I received this hand cream in a Soap & Glory Christmas pack, I was really excited to try it.
This review is of the 50ml travel-size in Original Pink, which is rose and bergamot scented. The bottle is bright pink, and rests on its cap. The text on the bottle is in silver, white and black. The hand cream claims to be “non-greasy” and “hydrating”. The cream itself is white. Although the rose scent is quite strong, it is not unpleasant. The cream is reasonably easy to squeeze out of the tube. It absorbs into the skin quickly, and is true to its word of being “non-greasy”. This cream also feels very rich and is great for dry hands. I love to put this on just before bed so it soaks in overnight.
Altogether this is a very luxurious feeling, yet affordable cream
Argh words can't express my love for Soap & Glory, it's almost up there with Lush. Their Hand Food is such a fab product and super affordable, even though it's probably one of the best hand creams I've ever tried. The lotion is the perfect thickness, and has a delicate but lovely scent. It leaves hands soft and cared for without being overly greasy, and helps massively to reduce dryness. It's from a great brand that doesn't test on animals, and comes in the cutest pink packaging you'll ever see. Honestly, what's not to love?
