I love this product, however the only colour i can use is the grey tone shade in the middle, it is the only one i can get a true shadow look from. the others are just a bit warm toned for my fair skin. The highlighters are beautiful colours.

Tips: Do not apply too much at the start, build it up
I've still got some mixed emotions on this product, which isn't exactly ideal considering it's price tag. Strangely I find all of the shades very pigmented, apart from the middle bottom, which is the only shade I would use for my actual contour as the other bottom row shades are far too warm, working better as bronzers to warm up the face. No matter how many times I swipe my brush across this pan, and no matter what brush I use, I just can't seem to get the amount of product/pigment that I want, which is such a shame because it's the ideal contour shade for my skin tone.
However, the banana shade works beautifully under the eyes and to clean up underneath contour/bronzer for a sharper effect. I don't use the two lightest highlight shades because I prefer to look like a disco ball with my highlight and I just don't get that effect with these shades, but for someone looking for something more subtle I'm sure they could work.
The packaging itself is a nice thickness and I like the simplicity, although a mirror could have been a nice addition.
Overall I do like this product, but for the price tag I don't think it matches up, and there are far cheaper alternatives for the same quality.
i brought this palette a few months ago after hearing so many people rave about it! i was so intrigued, the price did put me off (some places selling for $100!!) but i thought to myself "youre paying for quailty", in all honesty, i didn't like this product! i think its so over hyped and not worth the money! i used the banana shade, and all 3 contours at once (most of the time, other times i would use one) and i have to say it was very chalky, it didn't settle right, it looked muddy, and i just wasn't a fan! its an average product, and i personally think its sooo over priced!
This product is known for the qaulity and can be a bit pricey but definatly worth the money .when applying and when blending with sponge the colour pigaments make contouring so much easier and defiantly makes your contouring, highlighting & bronzing end results look flawless with great coverage .defiantly worth buying if you are experienced using makeup and wanting to contour etc
Love this. does dry a little over a few months but the product is still workable, nice and creamy. Love the quality of this product and love how well it contours and highlights
Tips: Don't put too much under the eye as cream creases easily
The powders in this palette are so soft and buttery. They blend out so smoothly and are just the most perfect colours for my pale skin. I've used this palette on many different clients too, and it just works so well. The packaging is sleek, the only thing I would add would be a mirror but it's in no way a deal breaker. I love that the pans are removable and you can replace them with new ones (in whatever colours you choose!). I think this is a great palette for both personal use or in a makeup artists kit. There are many alternatives to this now, some which are cheaper, I haven't tried others since I already have this one, but the quality of these powders is just so top notch, I can't imagine liking another one any more.
I've had this for about two weeks now. I first had the Australis one but I found that one to be very powdery and you couldn't be too heavy handed with it. This contour kit makes your skin look so beautiful and flawless. I find myself reaching for it every time I do my make up!!
I purchased this from Sephora while in the States after I had seen all the hype and I love it! The colours are pigmented and apply wonderfully. It contains 3 highlighting shades and 3 contouring shades, because the colours are pigmented you only have to apply lightly and build to desired effect and the shimmery sand colour is amazing and i use it all the time. I love this kit and it has survived vast amounts of travel which i was skeptical about due to it being made out of cardboard, but its as sturdy as ever. I also just found that you can replace the colours which is awesome instead of replacing the whole thing when it was quite expensive.
Well... I ATTEMPTED to use the Beverly Hills contour palette and failed miserably. It was the FIRST time I had ever attempted to contour, and got it all wrong wrong wrong. Unles you actually know what you're doing, and have the right brushes to apply, I suggest leaving it to someone who knows what they're doing
However, on the other hand, I had a friend also use it at the same time and her contouring was loterally perfect! Like, K Jenner PERFECT!
Definitely well worth the headache trying to get it right - although I'm not sure if I would purchase again as there are always cheaper alternatives
I think it's safe to say, that ABH consistently makes great quality products.
The contour palette has a beautiful colour range with a warm toned brown that's amazing for bronzing, a cool, grey toned brown that carves out the perfect contour and the final shade (don't have palette sitting with me so not quoting the names sorry!) that's in-between which would cater to a variation of skin tones.
With the light, highlighting shades that banana/yellow shade is an under eyes dream, it highlights the under eye so beautifully. The more neutral skin-coloured tone is also great and I used this for setting around my nose, chin and forehead.
My only downside of this palette was the highlight and I just felt it a little lack-luster, but I like a highlight that blinds so it's more of a natural sheen. However, ABH do deliver with their highlights just not so much in this palette.
The product is pigmented and so blend-able so it's incredibly easy to work with whether you are a novice or an expert.
This is worth the money beauties!
