I was Lucky enough to trial this oil. The oil comes in an easy to use bottle with a dropper which I loved as I find droppers to be much more hygienic to use. The Clarins Calm Essential Oil is intended to be used at night. I applied 1-2 drops every night and was surprised that it didn’t feel greasy at all and absorbed into the skin really well. And yes it is fragranced but it’s very pleasant and I didn’t find it to linger on. This worked really well for my dry and sensitive skin. Calmed The redness and kept my skin hydrated without leaving it oily. I used a drop with the emulsion as directed and loved how well they worked in calming the redness and easing the tight skin feeling. Highly recommend.

Tips: Intended for night use but can be used during the day on its own as it is non greasy. 1-2 drops is all you need. Mix together with the emulsion for amazing results.
This oil is genuinely life-changing. I am usually a holy grail reship oil kinda girl, but this one has easily passed it into first place. You only need three drops to thoroughly moisturise the whole face and neck, especially if you have already used a cream moisturiser underneath.
Tips: Mix it with your cream moisturiser to get the yummiest thickest night cream ever!!
Comes in a plain cardboard box, white with red font with no pretty pictures or extra stuff on it, which I kind of like :)
98% natural ingredients and also some organic ingredients which is really important to me. It's a 30ml bottle with a dropper for ease of use, I added a few drops to the Clarins Emulsion and applied every night, I haven't actually used it on it's own as yet but I will do as I'm sure it will last longer than the emulsion.
I loved how it made my skin feel after applying - it felt instantly "calmed" and hydrated, really just as it promised! My skin is really fussy and can be quite tight and dry after cleansing, so this was a real treat to put on at night. It smelled really nice, not really perfumed, still natural but a lovely scent, my 8 year old daughter and partner both commented on how nice my skin looked and smelled.
I really did like this product and will definitely keep using this each night on face and neck and am interested to see the difference after using for a bit longer.
Tips: Add a few drops to the Clarins Emulsion if you have it, it's lovely!
A beautiful easy to apply oil that smells nice. A few drops patted on to my face feels lush and spreads easily over skin, my face feels hydrated and never tight since I used this. It takes a wee while to not feel oily on the skin but the reward is skin feels and looks nourished
Wow, wow, wow, the Clarins Calm-Essentiel Soothing Emulsion is amazing. I have very dry and sensitive skin due to medication and have not been able to find anything to work on my skin until now. The restoring treatment oil immediately makes my skin feel soft and hydrated. using 2 drops goes a long way and made my skin more soft and hydrated. I used the product on its own at night, and woke up every morning with my skin feeling soft and hydrated (which has never happened before). I highly recommend anyone with sensitive skin trying this product.
Tips: In the mornings mix 1 or 2 drops with the soothing Emulsion, for hydration throughout the day.
This product is used in conjunction with soothing emulsion. The oil has no smell and it feels like other facial oils available in the market. But it does the trick. I used it with the emulsion and my skin got better in few days. The best thing is you don’t have to use it every time. 4 to 5 days are enough. And only 2 to 3 drops are required. I am not sure if it can be used on it’s own.
The bottle is cute and made from glass and the oil itself is dispensed by a dropper. Camellia and Apricot Kernel oil are both amazing for skin and the smell is DIVINE... however, it seems a bit too heavy for my skin. The instructions for use are to apply in the evening, after the Emulsion. To be honest, my skin did not absorb this oil that way, whether i used it before or after the emulsion. Rather, it sat on my skin and probably ended up on my pillow. (And I used it up to three hours before bed). For my skin, itis nicer used on its own.
Tips: Use instead of evening moisturiser on nights you want to give your skin a bit of oomph.
I have fallen in love with the new range of Clarins Calm-Essentiel products. The Clarins Calm Essentiel Restoring Treatment Oil has taken my skin from dry to nourished. I have skin that is starting to present fine lines (as it is facing 40+) and the summer sun has dried it out.
The restoring treatment oil comes in a perfect sized bottle that allows you to control the amount you drop on your fingers to massage into your skin. The scent is subtle and earthy that after a few days of use brings a calm when you smell it. I used this oil at night after cleansing and toning. It added a smoothness, nourished feel to my skin on my face and neck.
I love that this product has a minimum of 95% natural ingredients, making me feel like I'm not adding an over abundance of chemicals to my skin, especially right before bed. I would combine a few drops with the Clarins Calm-Essentiel soothing emulsion and the two felt like heaven on my skin. The sensitivity of my skin reduced due to the use of these products.
A great product, easy to use and affordable. I highly recommend using the Clarins Calm-Essentiel Restoring Treatment Oil on skin that is sensitive, aging or needs that extra bit of love.
Tips: A few drops go a long way - figure out the best proportion for the amount of skin on your face and neck that you would like to cover. Rub any extra into the backs of your hands.
I did quite enjoy this oil. I wouldn't say it soothes as such but it is nice to use this with my Gua Sha to massage my face. Absorbs nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling overly oily which is great. Would recommend to avoid around the eye area though as some ran down my face before I could rub it in and got into my eye and left me with a "slippery eye" for hours the first time I used it.
I was fortunate to trial this product. This oil comes in a bottle with a dropper allowing you to add it to the soothing emulsion cream when you apply it or apply it directly onto your face. I used 1-2 drops and I found this was sufficient. I used this oil after applying the Clarins soothing emulsion cream at night. In the morning my skin feels amazing and hydrated. I have noticed that i have less dryness and my skin doesn't feel irritated and itchy which was common, especially after wearing makeup all day. This oil was easy to apply; it wasn’t too greasy and felt my skin feeling smooth.
Tips: Use nightly after Clarins soothing emulsion cream
