Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Treatment

I really wanted to love this treatment as it would cover all the bases-toning and moisture treatment all in one. I found it was a nice texture, it massaged in nicely and washed out well. In conjunction with the other two products my hair is toned to perfection. I did not find it particularly moisturising and my hair felt quite dry. I am interested to use it alongside other shampoo to see how it performs (unfortunately trial timeframe hasn’t given me time for that but will add to this later!)

I was super lucky to be able to trial this hair treatment(thanks BR) and wanted to put it to the test so the first time I used it I only used this product and nothing else following so I could see the true effect of the hair treatment on my hair. After applying, I left it in my hair for a few minutes as per the directions. The product smelt great, and was easily applied to my hair. Being a toning treatment it was dark purple in colour. When rinsing I could already feel how soft and smooth my hair was. After it air drying with no other hair products used my hair was nicely toned, felt amazing and looked great. I had less frizz and my hair looked smooth and hydrated. It had a nice shine to it and overall just looked healthier . Definitely purchasing and is a new fav in my hair care routine.

Bit of background: I have darker blonde hair that I bleach once every two months to go platinum. My hair tends to go brassy/yellow and has become quite dry, brittle, and falls out; so I was very excited to trial this product. Other purple products just don’t do it for me.

Jumping right in…

Packaging: comes in a 200ml 100% recyclable squeeze bottle. Price: expensive as far as treatments go, so you would expect this to really do what it says it will do. Consistency: creamy, deep purple, spreadable. Fragrance: a nice, subtle fragrance that does not linger long or transfer to clothes or bedding. Application and coverage: easy to apply throughout my medium length hair, just a dollop work through for a wee while does the trick. Can stain your hands for a bit but that washes off as you continue showering. Results: great results! The entire range is super strong which is impressive, however it’s so strong that it tends to dye my platinum blonde bits purpler, so be careful of this. Try not to leave these products in for too long. In saying that, the brassy bits have become much lighter, my hair IS shinier and stronger (even after the first wash). It doesn’t weight your hair down at all, and really helps with the damage caused by hair dye.

Ive never used a blonde treatment product before. I wasn't sure if I use this product after I've used the Fudge Clean Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner, or on its own. I chose to use this straighter after the Shampoo and Conditioner, as the trial time was short. This treatment is just as violet pigmented as the Fudge Clean Blonde Shampoo. As I had just finished with the Shampoo and Conditioner, I was really scared I would end up with purple hair afterwards. But I followed instructions, left it on as instructed. I was pleasantly surprised there was no violet tones to my hair like I was worried for. Now I really think this combined with the Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo and Conditioner, has really saved my hair. Before these products my hair was dry and looks damaged, it would break easily. Now it's looking a whole lot healthier, less dry, and a very clean Blonde, which is what I strive to achieve. I'm so impressed. I will definitely be buying this product in the future and adding it to my hair routine.

This is my rock star- I’m besotted!! A purple hair treatment- I love this treatment. My long blonde hair always needs TLC and in the past it’s like do I do a treatment which my hair needs but I’m still trying to manage brassy tones and here comes fudge with a purple treatment and I can kill two birds with one stone YAY. It’s a beautiful dark purple (my favourite colour) in any hair product. I like to keep a treatment on for a good while so Saturday morning I schedule my hair treatment - treatment in while I go about doing some chores etc. I was pleasantly impressed with the colour of my hair after the treatment exactly the right colour I am looking for with hair that feels soft and smooth, smells yummy. It is the second time I use the treatment that I notice I don’t have the little birds nest at the ends of my hair that are often present after washing my hair this is my proof that my hair is in better condition for using this treatment. This is my new secret weapon I will continue to use to keep my hair in mint condition.

I thought after the other two products I would be bowled over by this. I really felt there was no difference to the conditioner. My hair didn't feel any more smoother, sleeker or less brassy. I did straighten my hair this time so I could get a better look at the colour and texture. I am happy with how my hair feels and looks but not sure the deep conditioning treatment did this. I also felt the instructions on the tube weren't really clear and seemed to be a repeat of the conditioners instructions.

This product is awesome, I have fine highlighted hair that goes brassy. It comes in a nice vibrant bottle with a lovely fragrance, It is highly pigmented for great toning, it toned my brassy hair well. It feels strange applying it Not like a conditioner it’s quite a thin consistency but once rinsed hair is soft and smooth but not weighed down. Hair feels stronger and softer and smells amazing,

This hair treatment is just the cream on top for this system. I only shampoo a couple of times a week, but sometimes the hair still feels like it needs a boost and this treatment is the perfect boost. It's a 'purple' treatment, so tinted to help tone the blonde. It goes in quite light - doesn't feel like a heavy conditioning treatment. I left it on for 10mins or so, and rinsed it - and once again, no purple deposits in the hair, just a lovely beige blonde. My hair styled really easily. Less frizz and much like the rest of the system, my hair felt so soft and remained that way between washes.

Overall its such a fantastic system, and this treatment is as fabulous as the Shampoo and Conditioner

This is by far the best Blonde system I've ever tried - that holy grail - and it will be part of my routine forever - its that good!

I thought that this product would be a conditioning treatment as well as a treatment but I was a bit dismayed to find it is only a purple treatment. I found that using this product as well as the purple shampoo was a bit overkill. If you JUST got this product and didn't get the other ones that would work ok. I found that it made my hair definitely more toned and less yellow/brassy. I really liked the smell and it was a cool purple bottle. For the price? I personally wouldn't buy it again, as I usually go for the purple shampoo. I feel it needs to be a conditioning treatment as well for me to justify it.
