essano Facial Wipes Gentle Cleansing Wipes Review

These are packaged in an attractive pink & gold packet...appealing to the eye (like all essano packaging!). The packet contains 20 wipes and got these on special at a reasonable price. The size of the wipe is also a very generous size.

I like cleansing wipes to be reasonably moist. These seemed to feel that way when I pulled each wipe out but found it wasn't the case when I started cleansing. They didn't particularly "dry out", more there wasn't enough moisture to feel like I was getting a good cleanse. They say "refresh, cleanse and hydrate". Unfortunately I didn't the cleanse or hydration I personally like.

They do smell refreshingly good though and they are extremely gentle on my skin. They didn't have any stingy feeling or give off any toxic chemical smell like I find with some wipes.

These wipes come in an appealing colour of pink red packaging. The size of each wipe is quite generous. They are also hydrated each wipe & to my liking. Not drenche'd but noticeable moist. The have a noticeable scent not overpowering. For performance they are good enough to remove my foundation & all when using on eyeshadow I'd use amother wipe I'd tend to use 2 wipes 1 to lift the first lot of makeup 2nd to remove the remainder but I always go in with a cleanser after wipes as a precautionary move. I'd rate them higher but I have found better I tend to get dry from using these wipes so they my travel wipes or when I can't find my usual wipes on store I'll go for these.

I saw a review of these online slating them and I put off trying them. Then I saw them on special at the supermarket and decided to give them a go. I don't know why I paid attention to the other review because these are freaking fantastic. These wipes are quite scented and to be honest that's the one thing I'd change about them, not so much fragrance is necessary I think. The wipes themselves are very moist and a great size. One wipe is more than enough to remove a whole face worth of makeup. I wipe off my lippy and foundation, fold it over and then press it to one eye for 20-30 seconds and then gently wipe my mascara off. These wipes do an amazing job of getting mascara off and is probably the best eye make up removal product I have used in a VERY long time. I especially love how convenient they are and mostly use them when I get home from work and am just about to head out the door for a run because I can get all of my makeup off without a hassle and without having to wash my face before I go and get all gross from running anyway. I have a fondness for Essano and love every single product of theirs that I have used and I'm so pleased to say my love affair continues with these make up wipes. I will be repurchasing them and they will be super handy next time I head away!

These are my favourite go to wipe. They do exactly what they are supposed to. The material is lovely and soft, not to thin, not to thick. Not dripping wet with product, but not dry either. They have a lovely smell, it's only faint but nice on your face. What's not to like, they are certified organic!

I purchased these as I had used some of the other Essano products and enjoyed them. The packaging itself is highly recognizable if you have had other items from Essano. With the same colour scheme. It is also recognizable as holding wipes as it is has the same plastic sticker to seal it, this is not my favourite thing.

The wipes themselves were well moistened and a regular wipe size. Some brands have textured wipes but I didn't notice any difference between the sides, some brands have one side is rougher than the other. I didn't find myself blown away by these especially since there are only 20 wipes in a pack however one wipe was enough to remove my makeup. I didn't use waterproof mascara as I don't have any at present but I did notice that it did smear my eyeliner a little when trying to remove it before a bit more soak/press/light rub took it off. I would have liked a clean take off from the soak/press at the start and not have to repeat it. I do wash my face properly after use as I don't like the feel of left over wipe residue, it's not just this brand it seems to be most brands of wipes that I have used.

I found these average for a wipe. They didn't blow me away. Compared to some brands there are less wipes in the pack than compared with others but these are natural and doesn't animal test.

These are great.They work well,smell fantastic and are gentle on my sensitive skin.Totally recommend.

I was sent a pack of these facial wipes from Essano when they first came out as a prize, and i thought they were great! I've always loved the smell of the Essano range its so lovely and refreshing. They took my foundation and eye makeup off well and i was surprised how it left my face feeling really clean and refreshed. I ended up taking the pack with me when i went away for a weekend which was perfect for traveling! Because off the cost i wouldn't use them too much but definitely would buy them for when i travel as it was so quick and easy rather than using facial cleanser and water which takes a bit more time.

I am not usually a huge fan of cleansing wipes, as I find they're not enough to take all my makeup off and are quite expensive to buy regularly. However, I wanted to give these a go to see what they were like. Was super impressed!

The Essano packaging is as pink and adorable as ever, and these wipes have the most beautiful scent of roses! They are soft and moist, and feel lovely on the skin. Although it definitely took ages to remove my eye makeup, these wipes are quite thorough and did remove 99% of the makeup from my face. Non-irritating, even around my eye area. I was overall very impressed! Not to mention, Essano is a fabulous brand with an anti-animal testing stance, yippee! :D

I really liked these wipes for refreshing my face, and in the summer, when hot and sticky, I also used them on my body! They had a nice enough smell, nothing over powering! I didn't use them for removing make up so don't know how good they would be for that purpose but more than adequate for refreshing and cleansing my face.
