Garnier Vitamin C Tissue Mask

A beautifully soft and comfortable sheet mask! Garnier knows what they're doing when it comes to masks, that's for sure. Lots of product on the mask itself, it's easy to apply, great size and is comfortable to have on the skin. In terms of the results - my skin was soft and hydrated after use. I don't know if I saw any brightening effects, but I would repurchase again based on the hydration factor

I enjoyed trialing this mask. It was super easy to apply and had loads of serum. The smell was pleasant and not over powering. I left it on for 15 minutes and when I removed it my face had lots of serum left on it which I gently rubbed into my skin. It felt super moisturised and soft after. I didn’t notice a huge change in my skin tone or glow but I would definitely use it again for the convenience and the serum.

I was excited to trial Garnier’s Vitamin C sheet mask because it is a 15 minute masking treatment, ideal to use after a long workday for a skin treat!

The mask was extremely easy to use due to it being a sheet mask and it fitted well on my face. I was impressed with the generous quantity of Vitamin C serum included because in the past, sheet masks have dried on my skin which negates their benefits. There was so much serum left over at the conclusion of the 15 minutes that I was able to massage it into my skin as a leave on treatment.

My skin was radiant and glowing for the remainder of the day and also the next day. I would highly recommend this sheet mask treatment.

I really enjoyed using this mask. I cleansed my skin and opened up the sheet mask and popped it onto my face. I left it on for about 20 mins. It said it is superhydrating and brightening, with Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid. This was a great combo for my skin as it is always dehydrated. To have Hyaluronic Acid in there that holds 1000x its weight in water, was fab! My skin definitely looked brighter and was softer and more hydrated. There was quite a bit of left over serum in the bag so I used that and massaged it into my face and neck and then followed on with my usual moisturizer. My skin feels great!

My skin was definitely glowing after using this mask and it looked very dewy afterwards. I did it in the morning to hydrate my skin, it was very lush and one of the better tissue masks I've done.

I’m not sure I entirely understand the point in tissue masks. Surely just applying serum achieves a very similar goal without the sitting around with a wet, cold tissue on your face? I went into this a little skeptical (obviously). The mask itself is so drenched in serum unfolding it alone is a mission in itself. The second mission came in the form of trying to line up the eye, nose and mouth holes as best I could without getting serum in my eyes and mouth. It was cold, slimy and generally uncomfortable. The mask did stay in place for the 15mins but I was constantly feeling like there was serum dripping down the side of my face and neck. Removing the mask is easy enough, just whip that sucker off. But the amount of serum left behind is…a lot. I had to wipe most off with a cotton pad as it was way too much to just rub in. The drying/soaking process has a horrible sticky situation in the middle, and when it finally dried I did not feel at all hydrated or ‘brighter’. I could feel my face become slimy the next day as I washed it, I do not have this with any other serum I have used so feel that this one just sat on top of the skin, not doing anything. I would not use this mask again, I saw absolutely no benefit and found the entire experience uncomfortable. Not to mention the environmental impact on single use, tissue masks.

I really liked this. I used it after waking up and feeling quick dry on my face and wanted makeup to sit better. It certainly hydrated and I was able to rub in excess serum to make my face even more glowing. I would purchase again. I do really enjoy sheet masks and I’ll add this to the collection

This sheet mask is good at hydrating the skin but I’m not sure how much of a brightening effect it can have with just one application.

It comes folded in the packet and was easy to unfold and place on my face. The mask was a thick, plump material and did not have a plastic backing. The mask is more of a round shape and fit my face well - I have a low forehead and wide face and it covered everything perfectly. It was easy to smooth on and adjust.

The serum is a thick milky consistency and has a faint fresh/citrusy fragrance. There was plenty of leftover serum in the pack to apply to my neck, chest and arms.

The mask stayed on well while I relaxed in bed for about 20 minutes. It was still very wet when I removed it. The serum remained on my skin but absorbed nicely after patting it in for a few minutes. It left my face feeling supple and plump. It was slightly sticky but did not bother me as it just felt very moisturising.

I don’t expect miracles from sheet masks but it does a good job in general. The brightening effect may be more noticeable with regular use.
