L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Oil-Serum

This product not only looks aesthetically pleasing next to Garnier Rose Micellar lotion, it's a beautiful serum to boot. Lighty fragranced, it is not oily at all (despite the name) and absorbs exceptionally well. I push this into my face and neck every evening and it leaves my skin feeling soft and looking glowy. No stickiness. Although I'm not the target demigraphic for this product, my skin loves it.

I was really excited to trial this product. I have used it night and morning and found it to be a fabulous base for my makeup. I used it under my moisturiser (L'Oreal age perfect revotalising day cream). I was a little unsure how an 'oily serum' would work under my makeup. I needn't have worried as it just gave my foundation a great base with less touch-ups needed throughout the day.

I found the serum to be lovely and light with a very silky smooth feel (it is a little tacky when first applied but that soon dissapeares) leaving my skin with a smooth texture and nourished appearance. Definitely very easy to apply and also very lightly fragranced which is a bonus for me as I'm not a big fragrance fan on facial products, I have sensitive eyes and can be irritated by anything too strong.

I love the packaging along with a glass bottle, its attractive and a good size.

Age 60 + is my only downside.... I'm not there and possibly wouldn't have chosen this off the shelf if I was just choosing a product, having trialed it I would definitely use it again.

All in all this product ticks boxes for me

Would I reccomend this product and purchase it again, most definitely! at under $40.00 it's great value and well worth it.

Love this Loreal Age Perfect Rosy Golden Age Oil/ Serum it has definitely made my skin look better with that Rosey glow I am very grateful that Loreal makes such great products for my age group It is non greasy and absorbs well and definitely left my skin feeling better and well nourished The bottle is stunning, pink glass, looks very expensive

Don’t be put off my the word oil, this serum is definitely not oily. It is a lightweight silky serum. It spreads easily & absorbs into the skin leaving it feel smooth & a great base for makeup. After a couple of weeks my skins does have a rosy glow & does seem to be firmer. Love using on my face and neck.

What l liked the most about this product was that it’s not sticky like a some other serums I’ve used. It spread easily and didn’t leave a residue that I could tell. Only a small amount was required (not even a full dropper). The rose scent was really mild and didn’t linger. It worked well with my other products. I would definitely recommend as I could see my skin wasn’t as dry and felt lovely after using it.

Although this product was described as an oil-serum, I found it to be not too oily so easy to use both day & night. Application was easy with the glass dropper to dispense so many drops. The fragrance was light and pleasant and did not linger so didn't clash with my perfume. I used the recommended 3-4 drops morning and evening and still have at least half a bottle left. I am not sure of the price so can't comment on the value for $$. The bottle (shape & colour) is quite attractive. Re the effectiveness - whilst I didn't see any increased rosy glow to my skin, I did feel increased moisturisation although this did wear off during the day & overnight. I definitely experienced a firming of my skin especially around my jawline which was very obvious. I will continue to use the product, would consider buying it again (depending on the price) & would recommend it to friends.

Wanted to trial this L’Oreal product for a while now as I have a few of L’Oreals products which I currently use and enjoy.

The product is recommended for dry, dull mature skin. My skin is dry and I am always looking for products to moisturise and brighten my skin.

The bottle of oil was contained in a rose coloured cardboard box. Inside was a pretty glass bottle holding 30mls of the oil-serum. The serum was also this colour and had a dropper to measure the amount required for each application.

The product has a pleasant scent which didn’t linger after applying. Directions were to apply 3-4 drops to clean dry skin morning and night to face and neck area.

The product is not thick and was easily absorbed into my skin quickly. There was no oily residue left afterwards on my skin but it did feel softer and had a bit of a glow which I loved as my skin has definitely got duller with age.

If anything I think it actually helped give me a smoother application with my foundation after applying. I have faithfully used it twice a day for a few wks now and it seems to be economical as I’m only using a small amount each time.

It did leave my skin silky smooth as claimed with a radiant glow. However, I didn’t notice too much skin tightening or lifting. It claims for this to improve in 84% of people after four weeks. So I will continue to use it and see if this improves. All in all I liked the product for the way it moisturised my skin and gave it a healthy glow which I loved.

I am totally in love with this serum!!! Because I have had noticeable results from using this serum for the past few weeks. It says it’s an oil serum but it doesn’t feel like an oil it’s so light when applied to the skin, it just soaks in so quickly, and seems to go a long way a few drops covers my face and neck, and the really amazing thing is it’s so hydrating. My dry skin just loves it, I have sensitive skin which hasn’t reacted in anyway. Which is perfect because it’s the results that have blown me away, I don’t always use a serum but I am a convert, this rosy oil serum does an amazing job of transforming the condition and look of my skin. It actually does what it says it does ‘anti-sagging, nutrition & glowing vitality’ for dry and dull mature skin. I can see the glow to my skin and improvement to sagging. I’m nearing the 60 age bracket and do want to continue to ensure my skin is as good as it can be and thanks to L’Oréal there is hope for skin I am happy with as I continue to age. Good thing as I don’t need so much cover with my make-up, plus I have had comments on how good my skin is looking. This beautiful pink liquid is worth investing in.

What struck me first was the beautifully designed packaging! The important details such as for 60+ , for dry, dull mature skin on the packaging highlighted this product is specifically for me. Containing peony cells and calcium this product has been rigorously tested before opening to the public. The serum came in a pink glass container with a dropper allowing for easy application. Slightly scented, the serum absorbed instantly without leaving any oily residue. My skin felt refreshed instantly and brighter. As with all the L’Oréal products I have tried, this one is true to the promises made. I will definitely continue to use this product and totally recommend to anyone in the 60+ age group.

First of all thank you BR for selecting me for this trial. Product is for mature ladies, was surprised to see on the box is was suitable for 60+ but I'm not there yet lol! The product is in a transparent glass bottle which I thought was rather plain, product is applied by a dropper. 1st day I applied product I used 4 drops on my face, I had a spot on my forehead and noticed the product stung my skin a bit and started to irritate a bit so expected a reaction as I have very sensitive skin. I woke up the next morning and everything was fine so I applied the product the following morning but it didn't sting so all was good. The product is a serum easy to apply but I didn't like the smell much as it smelt like old ladies cheap perfume. I noticed the product made my skin soft & moisturised which I was really impressed with. I applied it after using my facial cleansing device morning & evening which is fab at cleansing my skin so gave me a fab canvass to work with for this product. The serum itself applied easy & blended into my skin really well I was impressed by the fact it made my skin so soft after and felt like silk. I have trialled this for approx 3 weeks. I've used half a bottle in 3 weeks as I applied it to my neck & declotage as well. Eventhough it made my skin soft I didn't really notice a " Rosy glow" or my complexion that different, or any change to my fine lines which I was hoping to see! I will give it longer than 3 weeks to make a decision as to whether I would buy it again. It complimented my other skincare products well. I noticed after I applied my makeup my skin did have a nice glow. I did enjoy using this product though and is great for moisturising so definitely recommend it for that.
