A'kin Daily Shine Shampoo

Love love love this product. Definitely delivers on its promise of shiny healthier looking hair even from the first wash, little goes a long way even with thick long hair. I feel like it's taken my lacklustre hair to soft and shiny in such a small time frame.

I did find the thicker gel consistency a little harder to get out of the bottle- also having a flip top lid could come into play here too. Definitely needs more water and a longer lather too- far easier to do in your hands first than on your head. The clear plastic is great- makes it soo much easier to see how much product is left rather than leaving it to a guessing game!

The scent is divine, I find it smells more like lemongrass than Geranium, Cedarwood and Patchouli though.

The tall sleek bottles make them easy to keep in the shower without taking up a lot of room too which is nice- also easy to throw into your gym bag or travel bag!

This shampoo comes in a really nice slim design bottle with and easy to open and close lid, water doesn't get in like some designs. This shampoo has a lovely texture lathers up nicely and made my hair feel soft and shiny. Unfortunately I really didn’t like the fragrance which makes it undesirable t want to buy again. This really is a personal preference.

A'kin Daily Shine Shampoo is a game changer. It's obvious from the start that a lot of research, care, and commitment to creating a product that is natural, not full of chemicals and lives up to its promises has gone into this shampoo. I have decided to 'ditch the dye' and am in the process of growing out my colour so I was thrilled to be offered a spot in this trial. I'd been looking for more natural products and A'kin Daily Shine Shampoo most definitely ticks all the boxes. I loved the packaging - simple, recycled and a lovely clean design that matches the product inside. It has the lightest perfume which makes your hair smell amazing all day. Anyone growing their greys out will tell you that our hair is in better condition than it's been since we started dying it but you still need that extra helping hand to keep it in good condition. Using this shampoo along with the conditioner is perfect. My hair is clean and very shiny and the promise of smoothness on my crazy curly hair in the Auckland humidity definitely held up. It just looks healthier. You don't need a lot of shampoo and it doesn't seem to have the awful foam of some other products. I absolutely love this and I can't see myself switching back, ever. In fact, I'm now researching to see what other products A'kin has on offer.

It effectively cleanses my hair without stripping out the natural oils and the lightweight formula doesn't weigh down my hair either. I really liked the luxurious floral fragrance of Geranium, Cedarwood and Patchouli, which I haven’t used in a shampoo before, as it smells delicious in the shower. I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging with both the bottle and cap being made from recycled plastic, and then have the ability to be recycled again (remove the label first however) it's reassuring to know that I can enjoy great hair care without compromising the environment. This is an Australian made and owned product that is tested and suitable for all skin types - so anyone can use it. A'kin Daily Shine Shampoo has helped tame my hair leaving frizzy bits more manageable whether I choose to air dry or not. My hair also maintains a lovely shine throughout the day. I can happily say this shampoo delivers on its promise of healthy looking shiny hair. Give it a go!

A clear gel consistency with a lovely herbal scent thanks to the Geranium, Cedarwood and Patchouli greeted me upon opening the bottle. This shampoo lathers up really well and I find I don’t have to use too much for it to effectively clean my hair and scalp. From the first use my hair has been noticeably smoother and softer. Unfortunately I can’t say I’ve seen much difference in regards to shine, as I’m rocking the salt and pepper look but I can definitely say my hair isn’t dull when using this shampoo. The fact that it is sulphate and silicone free is also a huge bonus for me.

The product comes in a large bottle with a flip-top lid. The product is clear and has a fresh fragrance. As it is super low on surfactants and additives it does perform differently than your bog standard shampoo. It was initially quite hard to get out of the bottle as it is thicker than what I was used to and it needs quite a bit of water to get a lather.

With that out of the way, I was really happy with the performance of this product. My hair felt and smelt really great after using it. Highly recommend and would buy again.

A'kin daily shine shampoo, comes in a clear plastic 375ml bottle. You can see the amount you have left by turning the bottle around as there is a gap where the label doesn't join together. It has a white plastic lid that you pop open and can pour the shampoo into your hand. It has a very pleasant scent, nothing overpowering at all so it wont clash with any other scent you may use. The amount you need depends on the length of your hair, mine is nearly shoulder length so I only needed the amount of about a 50cent coin. It lathers well and feels lovely on your scalp. It is easy to rinse out. On the label it states 28% increase in shine after 1 use. This is a true statement! I love shiny hair and now it is getting longer you can actually see it shine. I was so happy with this result. It also states your hair is instantly smoother after 1 wash. After I dried and straightened my hair this statement turned out to be true. I am happy with these results and would happily recommend this to other people.

A'kin Daily Shine Shampoo is a shampoo that is sulphate & silicone free and great for all hair types to boost shine & support hair health. I am always a bit dubious when shampoos claim to add shine but this one really did help to add some shine to my hair.

Firstly I loved the way this shampoo looked and the smell is divine. The clear bottle was helpful so you can see how much product has been used. Instantly looking at the bottle I knew that this shampoo would be loaded with goodies and free from nasty ingredients. Thanks to the lid push-down design this is also very easy and mess-free to use.

My hair was super greasy and gross for the first wash. I found that the shampoo didn't lather very well at all so was initially disappointed however I did a second shampoo and the lather was great. The future times that I used this shampoo my hair wasn't so greasy to start with and single shampoo was sufficient. The shampoo washed out easily.

After shampooing my hair felt very clean. I did follow up with the A'kin Daily Shine Conditioner and the results were smoother and more shiny hair. This product is a big win for me!

My honest review personally I did not like it for my hair it did not work for the type of hair I have .However I tried the shampoo on my partner's hair as well to see if I notice any change he does have long luscious locks! and oh my so good for him let his locks shining and smelling fantastic.

Product scent is wonderful with jojoba oil , yerba mate & niacinamide 100 %vegan and what I love also is the bottle cap are recyclable.

Would I recommended it ? yes but I won't use it again for my hair I have treated hair with hair dyes so probably that is why it did not work the well .

Absolutely loved trying these Akin products! This was my first time trying from this brand and it definitely made me want to get more. The shampoo had a devine scent of cedar wood, geranium & patchouli. The aroma lingered in my bathroom even after the shower.

It had a medium thickness consistency, it didn’t just dribble off the hand neither felt thick like in was piling it on. It was smooth and is a glowy clear colour with a hint of yellow. You don’t need too much as it spreads far, and has a nice easy lid that pops open, which was perfect and easy in a wet shower. The bottle sizes are generous and I felt like I didn’t need to wash my hair as often after using this product, which was great!

I did think the product is a little expensive, but after using it and seeing the bottle sizes made it seem like better value.

Overall, the shampoo made my hair feel clean, refreshed and smelling good! I would definitely recommend those looking for a good quality shampoo to try it out.
