Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser

I was a little sceptic with this little gadget, but after using it a few times, my skin feels amazing, so easy to use and fits perfect in your bag, handy size. Recommend it beauties x

I have been using their brush sonic cleanser and I too brought the alternative silicone head for that but this is nice to have all in one as I like the washable silicone brushes vs the other version.

It’s so easy to clean it! Huge +. I don’t have to replace anything on it which is makes it more handy and affordable.

It cleans so well and I feel like it exfoliates at the same time but is quite gentle. My skin felt soft afterwards.

Also I feel like it massages my skin which is again much needed.

I used the heat setting once and probably won’t again. I just don’t need a heat setting unless maybe to warm up something really cold I would be applying or maybe for cleansing my neck but for my face I am happy to use as is.

Love it. It’s so compact and easy to clean!

Pros: - Compact, and dries quickly, so easy to take with you over night. - SO easy to charge - Holds charge well - Minimal controls, so easy to turn on and use. - Really effective at cleansing, with or without cleanser! - Offers gentle exfoliation - No need to buy replacement brushes

Cons: - The heat can actually feel a bit too hot if you hold it to your skin for too long - It doesn't agitate the cleanser as much as a brush - A bit of an investment money-wise. - Seems to take longer than the good old flannel

All up I really enjoyed this trial product - I do think it is an effective cleanser and my skin does feel different from my usual face cloth and cleanser routine.

I've tried cleansing brushes before, and while I generally find them great, to be honest I eventually just sort of forget to use them. Either the brush head needs replacing, or the batteries need changing/charging and out of the bathroom it comes; ne'er to return.

I think this might be different. One it's wireless charging. You just sit it atop your charging pad. No leads to find or fiddle with, just pop it down and pick it up. There are also no replacement heads to worry about, this is a long term product.

I love the feel of the silicone bristles, they're less scratchy than plastic brush heads. In fact the whole unit feels lovely to hold, it fits snugly in my small hands.

I like the ease of buttons and it lights up to let you know its turned on and if the warmer is on.

There are a few different vibrations that you can cycle through by pushing the power button - I don't think there's much difference between them, but it might be nice for some. The vibration feels effective on the face.

I don't really see the point of the warmer as I use this in a warm shower with my usual cleanser.

I have noticed this is incredibly effective at cleansing - my skin is very clean with less cleanser being used. I also think it's great at exfoliating the skin in a really gentle way.

I absolutely love it - and would definitely recommend.

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser and I had no set expectations of what the product would be like, as I have never used anything like it before.

The packaging is nice, and the gadget itself is small, sleek - it fits nicely in my hand and is easy to grip.

Another good thing about it being small is that it takes up hardly any space on the bathroom vanity - or your travel bag if you wanted to take it on holiday with you.

I used my usual cleanser cream with this, and the vibration lathered it nicely, and it felt like it worked it into my skin more than what it normally would.

After using it, my skin felt more smooth - like it had been really gently exfoliated.

Cleaning the device after use was quick and easy.

The only thing that stopped me from rating this a 5/5 was that the shape of it means it can't reach certain parts of your face. I wasn't able to get the crease in between my nose and cheek, or the space in between the eyebrows but just above the tear duct part of the eye. The design could have had a nib or a slightly pointed tip that would allow users to reach every part of the face.

I usually like to keep things pretty simple and don't usually take much interest in gadgets. But I was pleasantly surprised by this beauty tool.

Things that could improve is the shape, as it is hard to get around your nose without a soap storm up your nostrils. A tear drop shape would be more suitable. Also the heating is neither here nor there for me, in the shower it wasn't overly noticeable and to be honest the element made the experience less enjoyable as running the device over the face would have been more relaxing with just bristles. Maybe if they find a different way to heat the device it won't negatively impact the overall experience of using the product which is otherwise great.

A great addition to my regime, I will happily keep using this and pampering my face.

I was super excited to try this as I’ve always been a fan of cleansing tools. The thing that set this apart for me was the heat setting. So was super stoked to be offered the chance to review this!!

Before we get into this review, I think it’s important to mention my skin type is combination leaving more towards the oily side. It’s also prone to the occasional break out. I’m very weary of the tools I use on my skin as anything too rough will cause break outs.

Straight as I took this out of its package, I was super pleased to feel the bristles! It’s super soft and actually quite flexible. The cleanser is small and fits in my palm quite well. It’s a super cute colour! The buttons are both on the side to turn the tool on and off and also the heat. There are a few different speed settings to go through and I use it on the slowest setting. I love that this is rechargeable. As per instructions, I charged it for three hours before I used it for the first time.

I used this on my skin every second night. Put a little bit of my regular cleanser all over my face first then took the cleanser tool lightly all over my face. I didn’t apply a lot of pressure and had the heat setting turned on. This was super easy to use. It was also easy to clean the tool once I was done too.

This tool left my skin feeling a lot cleaner than normal. Removed make up effortlessly as well. After a few uses, I haven’t broken out at all so super happy to continue using it. I’d definitely be recommending this to anyone that asks me about a cleansing tool!

I was very excited to receive this cleanser! My first thought was that I love the lilac colour it comes in. My second thought was that the device smelt quite chemically, however this went away after a wash.

The cleanser device is rechargeable and a USB charging cord is included in the box. Note that you'll either need a separate USB wall charger or a computer/other device to plug into for the cleanser to charge. Also be aware that you need to charge it fully before it's first use.

Once charged, it will last for a decent amount of time. I've been using it twice daily for a week and it hasn't died yet!

The device is completely waterproof. I alternate between using it over the sink and using it while in the shower.

The combination of the bristles and vibration feel quite relaxing on my face. I like to apply a cleanser directly to the device and massage it in circular motions on my skin. The device is a good, lightweight size and is the right shape to get into the curves around the nose.

There is a heat setting on the device as well. I've used it and can tell it's warming up, however I don't find this feature very beneficial at the moment. I'm thinking it might be more useful in the winter months.

The device is easy to clean as well. I simply rinse it off with water and leave it to dry.

The texture and appearance of my skin has certainly improved over the last week. After each use my skin feels more and more smooth. This device is a nice addition to any skincare routine and I would recommend giving it a try if you feel like your routine is missing something special.

I can honestly say that I absolutely love this Sonic Cleanser. I always wanted something to exfoliate my skin without using an abrasive cloth. Something I could clean easily and that left my face feeling really soft and clean and I found all this in the Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser. It is a silicon covered unit with soft silicon bristles. In the centre of the bristles is the thermal heating element. It comes with a really cute charging stand. While charging the red and green light alternate. While using the unit the green light is the function without the temperature turned on and the red is with. To use it you wet your face and apply your cleanser to the Sonic Cleanser. I applied my cleanser to my face and that worked fine too. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to get it started then press the button next to it if you would like to use the thermal setting. I used it in the shower and had no problems. I did use the thermal setting a few times and it was lovely and was just the right temperature.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a Sonic Cleanser that is both waterproof and easy to travel with.

Cons: the charging cable is really short so getting a longer cable is a must if you need it.
