First of all how cool is the charger. Simply plug it in and the device just sits on top and charges, so cool. I absolutely love this device. The device is small, easy to use and bristles are super soft and it's so good with it being 100% waterproof. If I wasn't in the shower, I would dampen my face with a bit of water, then placed my face cleaner on the bristles. Press the power button for 3 seconds (must admit I had to press quite hard for it to start) then the warmer button for a further 3 seconds. While the device was on I gave it a few further seconds to warm up, then placed it in my face and did round motions around my face. The bristles are so light and gentle on your skin. I was a bit worries with how the bristles on my skin would feel from the vibrations but was actually very relaxing. I could have carried on cleaning my skin for hours. After a minute, rinse your face to remove the face cleaner and pat face dry with towel and complete with your moisturizers you would normally use. My face honestly felt so clean and refreshed afterwards. I felt like i was glowing. It felt like I had almost gone for a facial, I couldn't wait to use it again. I was so impressed with it I even used it on my hubby's skin and he actually loved it aswell. Will definitely be recommending this to my family and friends.

Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser
Introducing the Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser, the next generation of facial cleansing for a healthy and glowing complexion!
This rechargeable silicone facial cleansing brush is small but incredibly mighty. It’s powered by sonic pulsation to instantly remove impurities and the optional heating element that heats up to 40⁰C for a deeper clean. The sonic pulsation cleans deep within your pores, removing make-up and loosening dirt and oil much better than just using your hands. Not only does this give your skin a deeper clean, it also allows for your skincare to absorb more effectively.
The ultra-soft silicone brush tips are non-porous, which means they dry much faster than traditional bristles, so they’re more hygienic while being gentle on the skin. This brush will last for the device’s lifetime, so you don’t need to replace the brush head at all! The Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser is also 100% waterproof, making it safe to use in the shower or over the vanity.
Application: moisten > glide > rinse.
Using this device is easy in 3 simple steps. First, moisten your skin; apply your favourite cleanser directly onto the bristles and press the power button for 3 seconds, followed by the warming button if you want this option. Gently glide the Manicare® Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser over your face in circular motions, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
All it takes is one minute twice daily to quickly reveal a clearer, brighter, and healthier-looking complexion. Are you ready to revolutionise your cleansing regime?

Tips: Make sure you charge it up for a few hours before use. If you are using the warmer ensure you wait a few more seconds for it to warm up to use on your skin. Have a towel handy to pat dry your skin once done.
What a cool wee product. I have never used something like this before so I was keen to put it to the test. Out of the box it's a very simple setup, just the wireless device (yay, no batteries) and a charging pad with USB cable. It's a nice size and fits snugly in my hand, not to mention a cute lilac colour. It took me a while to figure out how to turn it on as the instructions didn't really allude to where the power button was so after manically pressing the silver ‘button’ on the base for sometime I had a closer look and found it on the side. It's the same colour as the device, lol. Turning it on I had to use my fingernail has just pressing it wasn't enough then, you press the heat button which heats the centre thingy, this takes what feels like a minute but is probably around 20-30secs, a bit of a pain when you want to start using it straight away. The instructions also don't mention it has (I think) 3 speeds, also handy to know as the high speed really makes my skin tingle, I like it! As for how it works, I used it both in and out of the shower, with and without cleanser. I definitely prefer using in shower with cleanser, it seems to be much smoother. Afterwards my skin feels smooth and I have noticed my skin is brighter and I have less acne type issues (probably were blocked pores, all gone now). I have also used it with a gentle exfoliant, very nice. It makes me feel like I am doing something nice for my skin. To charge it is really easy, you place it on the special charging pad, simple however, that pad only has a USB cord so I had to plug into a port in another room away from the bathroom. It does stay charged for quite a while though so may not be much of an issue for some? It's a product I normally wouldn't purchase thinking it ‘gimmicky’ but will now continue to use it as I do really like the result.
Tips: Pro’s Feels really nice on the skin and gets it really clean. Con’s Buttons are fiddly, the base needs a USB port to charge
I was super excited to try out the manicure sonic cleanser. It is easy to use and gentle on the skin. It lathers up well and left my skin feeling well cleansed after use. I found that my acne had improved since I’ve started using this device. Would definitely recommend.
I'm not going to lie when this product arrived I was mostly curious about what it actually was meant to do - it seemed like it was simply a vibrating face cleaner (was this something I actually needed? Or purely a gimmick?).
The combination of gentle pulsing and warming action helps to deep clean your skin, opening pores and removing debris. Leaving you with cleaner, brighter, better looking skin. I have to say, it did help with my "maskne" and my skin felt smoother and softer after the first couple of uses, but since then I've not noticed any additional changes. It is something that I will continue to use but I'm not sure I would have purchased it myself.
Pros: It is waterproof, which means it can be used in the shower. 3 hour charge time gives up to 3 hours of use Small and lightweight
Cons: Seems to take longer to wash your face If your cleanser is anything other than a smooth cream it takes a bit to wash it out of the bristles
I'm definitely on the fence with this one, I don't think it's a beauty essential but it is a good tool to have.
Tips: It works great with a gentle exfoliating cleanser, just make sure you wash it well afterwards to remove any bits.
I can honestly say that I absolutely love this Sonic Cleanser. I always wanted something to exfoliate my skin without using an abrasive cloth. Something I could clean easily and that left my face feeling really soft and clean and I found all this in the Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser. It is a silicon covered unit with soft silicon bristles. In the centre of the bristles is the thermal heating element. It comes with a really cute charging stand. While charging the red and green light alternate. While using the unit the green light is the function without the temperature turned on and the red is with. To use it you wet your face and apply your cleanser to the Sonic Cleanser. I applied my cleanser to my face and that worked fine too. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to get it started then press the button next to it if you would like to use the thermal setting. I used it in the shower and had no problems. I did use the thermal setting a few times and it was lovely and was just the right temperature.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a Sonic Cleanser that is both waterproof and easy to travel with.
Cons: the charging cable is really short so getting a longer cable is a must if you need it.
Tips: When you battle to turn it on or off and are unable to switch to the thermal setting it is because your unit it getting flat. Charging sorts this problem out.
I was super excited to try this as I’ve always been a fan of cleansing tools. The thing that set this apart for me was the heat setting. So was super stoked to be offered the chance to review this!!
Before we get into this review, I think it’s important to mention my skin type is combination leaving more towards the oily side. It’s also prone to the occasional break out. I’m very weary of the tools I use on my skin as anything too rough will cause break outs.
Straight as I took this out of its package, I was super pleased to feel the bristles! It’s super soft and actually quite flexible. The cleanser is small and fits in my palm quite well. It’s a super cute colour! The buttons are both on the side to turn the tool on and off and also the heat. There are a few different speed settings to go through and I use it on the slowest setting. I love that this is rechargeable. As per instructions, I charged it for three hours before I used it for the first time.
I used this on my skin every second night. Put a little bit of my regular cleanser all over my face first then took the cleanser tool lightly all over my face. I didn’t apply a lot of pressure and had the heat setting turned on. This was super easy to use. It was also easy to clean the tool once I was done too.
This tool left my skin feeling a lot cleaner than normal. Removed make up effortlessly as well. After a few uses, I haven’t broken out at all so super happy to continue using it. I’d definitely be recommending this to anyone that asks me about a cleansing tool!
Tips: If you have sensitive skin, do not apply a lot of pressure while you’re using this tool. Use small circular motions to cleanse.
This was the first time I have used an electric cleansing brush. I have always been curious about the foreo Luna electric cleanser so I was keen to see what this one was like. I have been using this electric cleanser for about one week and normally use it at night while in the shower. Overall I have not noticed a lot of difference to my skin since using the cleansing brush. I normally just use my fingers to cleanse my face, with no other tools. I have combination oily skin and have been using this with a foaming cleanser. My skin felt fresh and clean afterwards, but also not any different to cleansing without this brush.
The cleansing brush is very compact. It fits nicely into the palm of your hand and is nice and easy to hold. The silicone brush is gentle on your skin when used with plenty of cleanser. I tried using it with just plain water and felt that it was harsh on my skin. When used with cleanser the brush wasn’t harsh and my skin didn’t feel like it was stripped of its natural oils.
This brush has a heating function that heats to 40 deg Celsius. However when using it in the shower I didn’t notice or feel the heat. Maybe this was because I could already feel the heat of the water from the shower.
One thing that I also noticed that was that I had to use a lot more cleanser than normal in order to get the cleanser foaming. I had to use double or triple the amount of cleanser that I normally use.
Overall I didn’t notice a lot of different results with using this cleansing brush. However I will continue to use it for longer to see if there are long term results.
This little gadget is as the title says a great idea in theory and with a few tweaks to the design I think it would be fantastic.
It’s a powerful little device and the warming sensation is quite pleasant.
I used this twice a day for 5 days and it left my skin feeling mostly clean and I think it’s great that you can use it in the shower.
The small things to note for this are:
1. It’s great that it’s a wireless charger however because the base can’t get wet charging it in the bathroom isn’t viable. The lights on the device to show it’s charging are very hard to see as the lights are on the piece that lays against the charger so you have to look underneath to check it’s charging.
2. The device itself is difficult to get around the curves of your face so it almost needs to be a lower profile on one side as getting around your nose is difficult so found I’d need to hand cleanse part of my face - this is especially important because of wearing masks and having an oily face.
Tips: Be mindful of the type of cleanser you use, I found that the normal cleanser I use (a balm type by the ordinary) dosent lather like you would want it to to get the most out of the device so I switched to my Clinique gel cleanser and had much better results.
I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser and I had no set expectations of what the product would be like, as I have never used anything like it before.
The packaging is nice, and the gadget itself is small, sleek - it fits nicely in my hand and is easy to grip.
Another good thing about it being small is that it takes up hardly any space on the bathroom vanity - or your travel bag if you wanted to take it on holiday with you.
I used my usual cleanser cream with this, and the vibration lathered it nicely, and it felt like it worked it into my skin more than what it normally would.
After using it, my skin felt more smooth - like it had been really gently exfoliated.
Cleaning the device after use was quick and easy.
The only thing that stopped me from rating this a 5/5 was that the shape of it means it can't reach certain parts of your face. I wasn't able to get the crease in between my nose and cheek, or the space in between the eyebrows but just above the tear duct part of the eye. The design could have had a nib or a slightly pointed tip that would allow users to reach every part of the face.
Packaging is cute and the 3 step instructions seemed easy enough - I missed the 'press power for 3 seconds' part though! Lol I happened upon a feature that wasn't listed anywhere on the packaging..there are different intensities of sonic vibrations! Once you start it up press the button again to increase vibration. The unit itself sits snug in the hand and is easy to maneuver in circular motions over your face, it is however difficult to get into the creases around your nose and eyes because of its shape. For the very first use I decided to go whole hog and use my Dermalogica thermal skin polish and the combination did not disappoint..My skin felt smooth and taut and I absolutely love that feeling! Over the next few days I used it with different products, with and without the warming feature, in and out of the shower and sometimes just with water. My preference was definitely with product and my cream cleanser was one that worked really well with it. Loved using it in the shower! The warming feature needs time to heat up which isnt ideal as Im impatient- but worked around it by switching it on and leaving it while I brushed my teeth. I preferred to just use it as is most of the time as I didnt feel much difference with the warming feature. Overall I liked it and did a good job of cleansing my skin.
Tips: Once the green cleanser light comes on push the power button again to intensify the vibration.
