I have combination oily skin (which is also sensitive), and because of this i tend to stay away from using oils. In the past I have used trilogy's rose hip oil and found that it never absorbed into my skin and my skin remained dewy even if I only used one drop. However I have to say that I quite like using this oil.
As I've only been using this oil for three weeks, I can't comment on whether it has been restoring as it claims. But because this oil is so light it actually absorbs into my skin rather than sitting on top and not absorbing fully. My skin still feels dewy, as expected, but it doesn't feel sticky or wet.
I use this oil at night (as I saw comments on the forum saying that they use serum in morning and oil at night so I thought I would give it a go) followed by the moisturiser in this range. In the morning my skin feel berry hydrated and supple.
The bottle is similar to the rose hip oil bottles, dark glass to prevent sunlight and a dropper top. I use two drops for my face.
Overall I really like using this oil, it's the first facial oil that I have liked. It's been very gentle on my skin (although I've never reacted to any facial oils before). I would definitely recommend this oil to others.
For me this was my least favourite product of the range.
Coming in a beautiful dropper bottle (Trilogy really win award for simple yet classy packaging) I was a bit miffed at first why I needed two oils (there's a Calming Serum in the range, spoiler...it's fabulous).
So this is like your daily oil in lieu of say your rosehip oil. I used it religiously twice daily for two weeks, but I found it too thick and it just didn't absorb. I needed two drops to use on my face but even that minimal amount just didn't absorb, 20 minutes later I could still move product around my face, I ended up blotting the excess with a tissue.
However this doesn't mean I think its a dud product, far from it, once blotted my skin felt very supple and again there were no irritations or reactions - so a great product for us with sensitive skin.
I passed this along to my daughter who has very dry skin, and she can't speak highly enough of it.
So in short, just not the Trilogy product for me, I guess at some point there had to be one, but it definitely will not put me off using Trilogy.
