To start with, what I like about the packaging is that it lists all the ingredients and what they are for. The bottle is recyclable glass and has a crisp, clean label. My first impression on reading the instructions was that you have to use quite a lot (one full dropper) each use. When I use products with these types of droppers I tend to only use what I need and what I need is never a full dropper. I also thought that because the product is meant to give a 'glow' that I would end up looking greasy and have some pimples come through due to my skin type. I persevered and followed the instructions using a full dropper twice a day. I have been pleasantly surprised so far. I don't break out in angry pimples or end up looking greasy! It doesn't irritate my skin like many products do but I find it does take longer than I'd like to spend massaging it in (I put this down to the quantity it says to use) and I've got a couple of spots/bumps on my forehead and that little space in between my top lip and bottom of my nose (but they're not pimples). The scent is light but nice. I've used another Vitamin C serum prior and it had an overpowering orange scent. The Garnier brand is lighter and doesn't smell like an orange. The consistency is runnier than the other brand I've used. I have just started to notice some of my lighter brown spots are getting even lighter but that wasn't in the first 6 days like it claims ("ANTI-DARK SPOT ACTION: RESULTS IN 6 DAYS") and I haven't noticed a change yet in my very dark brown spots. I do like this product and will continue to use it until it runs out. However, I am still not sold on the amount I have to use each time. I feel like it's going to waste a lot and force me to buy another bottle more often. It's been 2 weeks and almost half of the bottle is used. I don't typically buy/need to replace any facial product once a month, for me it's too excessive so if I don't notice a bigger change in my dark-spot appearance by the time this bottle runs out (I estimate another 3 weeks) I don't think I'll buy another bottle and if I did I would stop using a full dropper each application and probably only use half.
