This is a great product to use in conjunction with the Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo as they compliment each other very well. After using the Clay Mask then the shampoo, I felt the conditioner was as great as these other products in the range. The scent was pleasant and not too over powering, glided on very easily onto the ends of my hair. I used a hair clip to pin it up as I normally would to leave it in for a few minutes. When I washed it off, my ends felt very moisturised and silky again without the heaviness. It's great that this product doesn't contain any silicon as this weighs down my hair quite a lot making my roots oilier. In my opinion, this is truly a great product to use and fits perfectly within the range.

This was my absolute favourite of the four products. The product has a subtle pleasant smell and feels so silky. It goes onto the hair easily and immediately makes it feel softer and less frizzy at the ends. It rinses out reasonably well and I was very impressed with how soft and smooth my hair was afterwards. It was easy to brush and style and felt light and clean. I was really impressed with this conditioner and think it will become a regular purchase.
I received this conditioner as part of the L'Oreal Elvive Extroadinary Clay range, so I used this with the other products in the range.
I found this conditioner very easy to use, as you would expect from a conditioner. The product is a tad thicker but still soft which I liked. It was easy to massage through my hair and easy to rinse off.
Because my hair gets oily on top, and I had used the clay mask on top, I didn't use too much of the conditioner on top. It left my hair feeling soft, smooth, hydrated and looked shiny and clean. I'm not sure how this conditioner would go using it with a shampoo from another brand but I loved it as part of the clay range.
Soooo, I went a bit crazy and bleached my hair three times. So although my roots are still oily my ends are fried. This light-weight conditioner was more than able to sort it out, while not giving my hair a filmy coating. This is due to the lack of silicones, which a lot of people are starting to avoid in their hair and skin products.
Pretty fresh scent, which is not too floral or that would overpower my body fragrance. I'm going to get my partner to try this, to see if it works just as well for male hair (very long, thick).
Tips: Try just using it on the mid-lengths and ends - you will use less product this way and also decrease the chance of root oil build-up
My hair felt soft and weightless after using this conditioner (in combination with the matching shampoo).
I did notice that after about 2 days, my ends felt a bit dry and knotty - I used a bit of morroccan oil on the ends and that seemed to help. My roots were oil free though.
Fresh scented - I really liked the smell - my hair was able to go 4/5 days before any signs of oilyness appeared.
I think this could be a bit more moisturising - but I understand that this could be counter productive in terms of reducing oily roots, a bit of a catch 22 situation.
Over all a great product for people that struggle with oily hair problems.
My hair usually gets oily within few hours after washing my hair, so I was excited to get chosen to try the L’oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Detox Shampoo It comes in a 250ml bottle and it also has a lovely scent. The conditioner is opaque white and the texture is like any other conditioner.
I applied the conditioner after I applied the shampoo of the same range and followed the instructions on the bottle. It doesn’t say how much to use, so I squeezed two pea size amount into my palm and applied the conditioner onto my hair, only focusing from the mid-length to the ends of my hair. I left it into my hair for about 2-3 minutes and washed it out until the water ran clear.
My hair was very soft after I washed it and once I dried it, it remained soft and felt light. I also had a lovely fresh scent in my hair that lasted for a couple of days.
Tips: Don't massage it into your scalp otherwise your hair will get oily fast
This conditioner works perfectly with the Clay Shampoo. It has a really nice smell to it that reminds me of watermelon and the packaging is nice too. I applied the clay conditioner to the mid-length and ends of my hair after using the shampoo and waited 3 minutes then rinsed it off. I usually have to use alot of conditioner when i wash my hair but i found this one i really didnt need alot. My hair is very dry at the ends and always gets so knotty so I quite surprised how soft my hair felt afterwards with no knots! It didnt weigh my hair down and my roots stayed fresh for days after using the pair together, I was so happy with the results.
..well with its Shampoo counterpart. When combined and used correctly on the mid lengths and ends of the hair I would definitely say that this shampoo kept my hair and roots feeling fresh for 48hrs (even in a humid environment) This I think is mostly to do with the fact that I avoided application to the roots. While this left my hair feeling lovely and fresh it wasn't particularly nourishing for my damaged ends.
I do have to note here that the bottle states 72hrs of fresh roots compared to the BR website, but I can tell you 48hrs is the longest I could go before I felt oily.
As with the shampoo I really enjoyed the salon fresh scent of the cream, the packaging is gorgeous in aqua blue/green and the price is great value.
Would I purchase again...I would in the case of a special where the shampoo and conditioner were sold together, but I wouldn't seek this out, when I could use something else that has more of an effect on my damaged ends.
I quite liked this conditioner! I am terrible and hardly ever just apply conditioner to my ends, so I tried on my ends the first time, then the second time I put it all over and the results were the same both times which I was really happy with.
This conditioner is really light and I didn't need to use as much of this as I would with other brands I use. I feel like because it is so light it didn't matter that I took it all the way to the top of my head/roots.
Again, I love the packaging and the color of this bottle, it's so pretty and looks nice in my shower!
Usually after washing my hair its a huge birds nest, but with this range I found my hair was quite sot and smooth and much easier to brush after. I did leave this conditioner on each time I used it for a few mins while I washed my body.
Overall, I think this is a really nice conditioner and I would use it again even if it wasn't in conjunction with the range.
Tips: Only use a little with this, it's quite a light thin conditioner so goes a long way.
I was sent the range to trial, and I don’t have too much to say about the conditioner, mainly because it performed about as well as most other conditioners do. I loved the scent, and I didn’t need a lot of the product each time which was great (especially using it only from mid ends to tips), however I found myself squeezing out too much conditioner the first couple of times I used it (I think because of the bottle design along with the consistency). The conditioner gave my hair back the softness that the shampoo took, and didn’t leave it feeling greasy or weigh it down. It didn’t make it look super shiny though, so even though it wasn’t oily, it was left looking kind of limp unless I used a product afterwards.
