This is very lightweight and goes on easily and dries quickly.
The fragrance is quite strong and not to my liking.
When I first applied this creme it felt fine on my hands however in the night I woke up itching as my skin is very sensitive so I wouldn't use it again but I'm sure it would be great for normal skin.
It comes in a generous sized tube that has a bright yellow design on it.
Great product, made my hands soft and moisturised, smooths out the look of my hands, even had the girls at work using it too, would definitely recommend.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
The hand creme comes in a squeeze tube with a gorgeous honey picture. The creme is a medium-light texture so be careful when squeezing!
The creme has a strong, rich honey scent and a slight stickiness on initial application; it definitely contains a decent quantity of manuka honey! The smell and stickiness reside after about 30 minutes leaving the moisturized feeling without any greasiness.
My hands are dry and have scrapes and burns so creme has definitely had a good challenge. I have been applying it before bed and once during the day and it seems to be aiding healing.
My hands feel softer and less dry and my nails feel stronger and less prone to breakage.
I have been using Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Moisturising & Repair Hand & Nail Creme for about a week now. I can see that my nails which used to be quite brittle, is now stronger. I can now grow my nails longer, which I couldn’t previously. I also noticed that my hands which started to have fine lines and dry, now look smoother and not so dry anymore. I’m glad I was chosen to be one of the trial team, because it works for me!
Tips: It’s best to keep it handy in your bag. After washing your hands, apply small amount of the cream all over the hand and nails, and you will see the differences in a short amount of time.
I am in love with New Zealand products and the Alpine Silk Manuka Honey hand and nail crème is another feather in the hat of this company. It is made in New Zealand, from New Zealand products that contain manuka honey which is high in antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties which help to moisturize and soften the skin. My nails and hands get very dry and crack during the winter with the cold weather and artificial heating. I was delighted to receive the Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Moisturizing and Repair Hand & Nail crème to trial. The crème is light and easy to apply without the feeling of it being too heavy or greasy. The scent is delightful, with a soft smell of honey that reminds me of being in fields of summer flowers - it doesn't linger but you know when you have put it on your hands that it smells nice.
The bottle is small enough to pop into my handbag to ensure I have it handy when out and about. The children both have been using it and on to moisturize his dry lips and it has worked wonders in repairing small cracks.
I love to use New Zealand products and support New Zealand companies. It is excellent to see the best products in New Zealand being made available at an affordable price to us. This product is one that I will seek out to ensure we have the best at hand to keep our hands, nails and lips in tip top condition.
This is probably THE best hand cream I've ever used!
It absorbs so quickly and doesn't leave a greasy film - there's no desire to wipe your hands on something else to get off the residue!
It makes my hands feel AMAZING instantly and ongoing through the day. It's not a cream I feel the need to reapply through the day, the hydration lasts.
I've noticed a discernible difference in how my hands look and feel.
The only downside is the fragrance which to me is more almonds rather than honey but hey I liked the results all the same!
Tips: Don't just use it on your hands - it's great as an overnight treatment for cracked heels or an intensive moisturiser for your legs when they get really dry in winter
really nice hand cream. great size to just put in your hand bag and go. I'm a crochet fan, so often keep a bottle on hand lotion in my wool bag, as my hands get really dry with all the yarn passing through them. what I liked about this one was it was lovely and creamy, absorbed well, and left no sticky feeling on my hands that so many other hand lotions do. it left my hands feeling soft for hours afterward, so no need to reapply often. what I didn't like was the smell. I applied the lotion to my hands and asked my 3 teenage children or separate occasions what it smelt like to them, they all said plastic. so if the smell could be improved to smell more honey-like, and less plastic-like, this would be a top product winner for me. I will continue to use it despite the smell, because it does such a good job. would I recommend it to a friend? yes I would.
Love the packaging, especially the riflles on the tube giving a 3D effect of the honey dipped stick. The hand creme absorbs easily and doesn't leave your hand feeling oily or sticky afterwards. I had a glowing skin after applying and it really assisted with my dry winter cracked cuticles. Its been in my handbag ever since. Its a good product. As it does what it claims I am willing to put up with the distinct smell of honey that lingers on your hands, as I have never been fond of the honey scent. If you love the smell of honey you will love this product.

The Crème is thick and hydrating. It definitely feels moisturizing on the hands. They instantly feel softer and smoother.
However, the first thing that I noticed was the scent of sweet almond oil, it's strong, but also mixed with other scents which muddies the scent.
I haven't seen a change in the cuticles or nails, but will comment below if I do notice a change after using the product for longer.
This does make for a nice gift set with other products in the range like the serum and comes in a standard inverted tube.
Tips: This has great ingredients if you're ingredients conscious.
I don't normally buy hand cream, so it was nice to receive this to try out.
My first impression was of a medium textured, unusual smelling cream. My nose is very sensitive and didn't really like the first sniff. Even after 5-10 minutes on my hand, the smell was still quite strong and off putting.
The texture of the cream was nice and it came out of the tube easily without waste. I massaged it onto the back of my hands first, as they are very dry, then applied some more to my palms and fingers. It absorbed quickly into my skin with no greasy after feel. My skin felt smooth and soft to touch pretty soon after application.
Despite not liking the smell, I persisted in using the product right through to the review date. My hands were definitely softer and more hydrated so the product rates highly for achieving those results.
Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to tolerate the smell. It was very pungent to my nose, almost soapy, and for that reason alone I would not use the product again.
