L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Dream Lengths No Haircut Hair Cream Review

First off the packaging is bright and looks great a fantastic size for stashing in my gym bag or the bathroom cabinet.

This scent is great it smells clean and fresh, a little goes s long a way and it was easy to distribute through my damp hair out of the shower.

I swear my hair felt instantly healthier upon application and made sure my straighteners sailed though my coloured curly hair without a hint of damage.

This will be a staple in my hair care collection for sure!

I fell in love with the range as soon as I saw it. The packaging is so 80s Miami Vice, its just retro perfection! Orange and Pink, with white 'beachy' writing. What's not to love?!!

I then gave it a sniff, and yeap, fell in love some more. .

After using and loving the shampoo and conditioner, I wasn't sure if I needed a matching treatment - my hair looked and felt so good, and my ends looked smooth. Well. Turns out. My great hair was about to get even better.

I received my parcel at about midday, so it wasn't time for a shower - I couldn't resist giving this cream a quick try though. And WOW. It made my hair glisten. Once applied it didn't feel like I had anything on my hair, and yet my hair looked smooth and salon-styled.

The no-haircut cream is less a cream, more a thick serum. I've been using it one damp hair after washing and every day while I'm styling. I'm just in love with it!

Firstly, the packaging. It's so cute. Does it skew a little young? Probably, but not in an off-putting way. More in a 'I feel younger using this'. It's fun, its peach and pink.

It smells incredible. Light, tropical, sweet. It's just the lovliest scent. This no-haircut cream is like a top-me-up for the scent, as I use it everyday.

My hair is quite young, so I use a good squirt of this. I focus the application to my mid lengths and ends and just rub my palms lightly over the roots to smooth out frizz.

This is better than a serum, and it really feels like an intensive treatment, that you use everyday.

Will be using, repurchasing and raving about this for a while to come!

A little bit goes a long way. The product comes in a generous bottle and each squeeze dispenses just the right amount. I squeezed it into my palms rubbed them together then applied it to the ends of my wet hair.

My ends aren't overly split at the moment but this styling product just seemed to improved the results I got when I blow dried my hair and i've had numerous comments about how great my hair looks this week. Thanks Elvive i'll be back for me for sure.

You can apply this to either wet or dry hair. I have only trialed it on towel dried hair so far. I applied 2 squirts to my palms and distributed thru my hair. It has a nice fruity smell and has made my hair feel nice, however I needed to wash my hands afterwards as they felt sticky. It claims to reduce the appearance of split ends however in the short time I have trialed it I have not seen a noticeable difference, I do think maybe its a product that you see improvement over time rather than instantly. I will keep using it to see how I go

Totally love it (along with the shampoo and conditioner) Smells lovely and really made my hair look more conditioned. Feels like you’re really treating your hair as it makes it super soft and shiny- but it doesn’t leave a heavy, greasy feeling. I usually just shampoo and condition my hair, so having this third step felt like such a treat and that I was really looking after my hair.

A good size container with a twist top and a nice thick creamy cream that has a nice scent. Now i use hair creams but more for keeping down the frizz or styling with so i thought id try this for the same reason. While i like it and the idea im not 100% convinced the first day i used it i smoothed it through my wet hair and it gave a little bit frizz ease but not much at all. I tried it on dry hair and the same. I tried it on my hair before i straightened it and to be honest i think it helped keep my hair nice and soft for the day after the heat process so maybe that's how i will use it. Don't get me wrong i love the idea and the brand so i will continue to use it i just think maybe it should be more targeted at using with straighteners and hairdryers?? I had the privilege of trialing this new product and I was definitely a happy chappy to open the box and see a L’Oreal Paris range designed to strengthen my hair, prevent split ends and achieve longer locks! Just wait I need!

I found this the perfect little bottle to use to hydrate and protect my hair. I mainly used it during the trial period to protect my hair before using heat products. I had no concern using it for this and found the cream easy to apply and spread between my locks. My hair felt hydrated and not dry and lifeless after use and I will definitely continue to use this product.

I received this product to trial, and I was really intrigued by it, who doesn’t want to go to the hairdresser less and lose half your hair length??

The packaging on this product is a nice colour and feels nice to the touch. The cap seals really well, and it dispenses product really well. The label is really hard to read, so if you actually want to read the ingredients, I recommend a magnifying glass!!

The pros: absorbs really well into wet or dry hair. I first tried this just on the ends of my dry hair using around a 10 cent size blob, and it smoothed the frizz really well.

I used a bit more (probably too much in hindsight!) on wet hair, probably around a 50 cent blob), and while it absorbed really well, the scent of the product became really apparent, leading me to-

The cons: really just one, but it’s a bit of a dealbreaker in my house, this product doesn’t smell the best. I personally don’t mind it, but my partner pretty much refused to come near me until the following day because he really hated it, so maybe best to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to chemical scents.

As a product, it seems to do what it says on the bottle, and I’ll keep using it through dry hair where the scent is less noticeable. Impossible to tell if I’ll have fewer splits, or need for a hair trim after a week trial, but it’s promising so far, and my hair definitely drinks it in. Not sure if I’ll purchase it, as it’s pretty polarising in my house, and I still love my argan oil which smells better!!

Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! Honestly my favourite part of this product is the scent, it's just so good! The consistency of the product is quite thin but this isn't a bad thing as it makes it easier to apply evenly to the ends of my hair. When I use this product on both damp and dry hair I definitely notice how much smoother and healthier it looks. It doesn't leave hands feeling greasy after applying it like some other similar products do, so that is definitely a plus. The only downside of this product is the packaging. I love the pink and orange theme this range has going on, but I am definitely not a fan of this type of bottle. The pump bottles that hair creams and serums normally use are just so much more convenient than the pull top bottle this product has. I haven't been using this product long enough to reliably tell whether or not it will make enough of a difference that it will prevent me from needing a haircut, but I will definitely keep using it in the meantime to find out.
