My only complaint about this product is that it doesn’t come with a steady hand to apply it! Otherwise, it is great, one of the best liquid eyeliners I have tried. The eyeliner itself is a great consistency, not too thick and not too watery. The black is an intense matte shade. However, what really makes this a great product is the fine tipped pen which makes it so much easier to draw a wing and then fill in to create the desired thickness and overall shape, and as the name suggests, is smudge proof. Well done Maybelline, this product is great!

The eyeliner comes in a bottle with a thin brush tip applicator nice and thin, which made it nice and easy to create a crisp clean line, especially for any winged eyeliner looks. The tip is also quite flexible, but I still found it really easy to use.

The formula is very pigmented and black, and not too runny. It dries to a slightly shiny/satin finish, and lasted on the eyelid really well for me. Sometimes I get watery eyes and the eyeliner did not budge at all. I can't vouch that it will stay on for 36 hours, but it did last all day for me (~12 hours) and came off nice and easily with my waterproof eye makeup remover.

This liner does do what it says it will do however it’s just not for me. I didn’t like the applicator as I prefer a felt tip applicator. My eyes were itchy after I put this liner on so sadly I don’t think it agrees with my skin.

Like most Maybelline eyeliners this one doesn't disappoint! Its a good size for your make up bag and is nice and easy to hold with quite a nice thin pointed brush which makes it nice and easy to glide on if you've a steady hand. I got the Black Noir colour 001 and found it a good solid black. Staying power was really good no rubbing off through the day and i have had some hot sweaty humid days so i was impressed. It came off with a bit of persistence with the micellar water. All in all a great stay put liner!! You won't be disappointed.

Really great liner. I'm an eyeliner queen so I have high expectations when it comes to liner. The size of the product is very generous and the colour pay out was fantastic as well.

You can really build up the intensity of the black as well. And the product wasnt too 'wet' and was easy to apply. Brush held a good amoint of product to create a more dramatic look if needed.

Product did'nt have any strong smells and lasted all day. It was quick to dry so there were no liner on the upper crease of your lid disasters.

Would be a good product for a beginner as it allows you to create thin to thicker lines and is a buildable intensity product. From lines to wings this is a great liner.

I used this eyeliner as part of my makeup on a night out and I was pretty impressed with how long the liner stays put and doesn’t budge! It glides on really nicely for an easy application. It creates a great dramatic cat eye look which is a go to for night time.

This will be staying with my night makeup looks!

I have to admit, I rarely ever use any type of liquid eyeliner since I got permanent tattooed liner 3 years ago, so my winged eyeliner game is sadly non-existent. Because of this I was actually extremely apprehensive about using this and prayed I wouldn't botch anything.

My first impression of the packaging is that it’s sleek and chic with its patent black thin cylinder. The smell reminds me of a cross between a permanent marker and PVA glue, but you can't smell it when applying or anything if that is a deterrent for any scent-sensitive liner users.

On application it looks exactly like ink and dries down to a demi-matte sheen. Because of this, when the light hits, it has a slight reflective factor to it, so if you're looking for a super matte-looking liquid liner, then this is totally not The One. After it dries down completely, which roughly takes 15-20 seconds, it doesn't budge unless you purposefully try rubbing it off.

When I inevitably and accidentally got it on my fingers, I was pleasantly shocked it was so easy to remove and not leave any smudges or stains! It rolled off into black spidery tendrils, and almost acted as if it were a fiber liquid eyeliner which I think is especially awesome for people like me who don’t often use liquid liner.

Although my liquid liner game needs some desperate fine-tuning, using this baby has definitely increased my confidence because I'm not afraid to overdo it or make a mess because it's so easy to remove. I was even able to effectively tightline my waterlines which is usually a bloody nightmare and leaves me with panda eyes by the end of the day, but using this has been such a dream.

I would 110% purchase this from my own pocket and recommend to even my noobiest of makeup-using friends because it's literally a Beginner's Guide to Liquid Eyeliner 101, but still retains the intense opacity, quick-dry formulation, and long-lasting longevity of a luxury liquid liner.

I was elated to be sent this eyeliner to trial, I received the black noir 001 which is lovely and intense. Consistency: It is a lovely light but bold consistency, smooth to apply and no mess. Ever so slightly watery but without any mess. Application: The applicator is a fine tip brush, very flexible and the brush holds enough product for one eye before drying out and needing to be redipped. Easy to use altho it look me longer on my first try as I am used to a firmer tip pen. Fragrance: Hardly noticeable, however if I sniff the tube, it smells slightly like pva/lash glue. Coverage: One line does a good job, no need to go over the same spot twice. Longevity: Would be perfect for hot locations, balmy evenings, gym sessions, Usage: After one week it is still going strong. Price: At $24.99 this is on par with many other eyeliners, altho I have only used this for 1 week, I am looking forward to seeing how long this lasts for before drying out. Packaging: Nice box with good instructions and pics, wand is sleek black and screw lid. Results: This seriously stays all day long! I work in an office under air con, often my liner would smudge in the outer corner but this is amazing, no budge. Recommendation: I would highly recommend this eyeliner, great noir black, does not move all day but easily removed with makeup wipes or remover. The only con i experienced was that when applying the liner you brush past your lashes with the wand, and your lashes end up clumpy as tho they have glue in them. Havent figured out a way to avoid this yet.

If your looking for an easy to use liquid eyeliner that dries fast, this could be it! I hardly ever do a winged eyeliner these days, and when I do I always use a pen liner as my past experience with liquid liner has been BAD if not a disaster.. Anyway I was quite nervous when I opened this up to do a winged eye look today but to my surprise it went absolutely perfect. For starters the liner applicator doesn't seem to pick up too much product and instead just enough to do a section of eyeliner and because it dries fast you don't have to worry about blinking and that transfer happening in all the wrong places. It was really easy to draw out a very neat wing tip and I was really happy with how quickly I was able to get it done! Probably my only criticism was that it dried down to quite a glossy looking finish. I wasn't overly keen on that look but of course that is just personal preference and nothing to do with the performance of the product. This eyeliner lasted great all through the day and still looked perfect after hours of wear. If your looking for a new liquid liner to try, this one is definitely worth it and I can safely say now, it is the best one I have tried!
