In this review I will make reference to the shampoo as well because I believe they work together. Firstly the conditioner- I used a number of pumps because I always overuse conditioner and that's what works for me. The pump was difficult because it's up bit stiff. It went on easily and easily combed through. My friends commented that my hair looked good. There was definitely less frizz and static upon drying. I wouldn't use this brand over other brands I've used this is a pretty good daily use hair cleansing range.

Tips: Use with the avocado oil shampoo from the range
I loooved the texture of this! The way it comes out of the bottle is so satisfying. I found this to be a heavy but non greasy conditioner, that left my hair smooth and strong. Goes into the hair easy, and washes out easy. Leaving on a little longer to shave my legs didnt give me an itchy scalp or oil slick either
When used with the leave in conditioner this works well. But I tried with just using the conditioner and my hair was extremely dry, and hard to comb. However when you use the entire range as one my hair ends up soft and bouncy and almost straight (I have thick wavy hair - so if you want your hair wavy this probably isnt the range for you).
The bottle is opaque, unlike the shampoo which is see though, so you have no idea how much is left, and the pump bottle top is extremely hard to get the product out, I needed about 10 pumps to do my hair. I would prefer a normal bottle.
The smell is what lets this product down the most tho, it is unpleasant.
Also please note that although this range is called Nature Box most of the ingredients are still names you can't pronounce.
Tips: Make sure you follow with the leave in treatment
Beautifully coloured bottles that sit nicely in my shower caddy without taking up too much space and a pump top, whats not to like in the packaging.
The conditioner isn't as strongly scented as the shampoo but still has a nice refreshing smell. The product distributes easily through your hair and rinse out very quickly, which for me is a huge bonus i dislike conditioner you feel you never quite get rid of it all.
Used in conjunction with the shampoo i found it left my hair looking very shiny and feeling soft and smooth. I also noted a reduction in my fine fuzzy flyaways.
This is product comes in a funky green plastic container that is made of 25% recycled plastic which compliments their product composition being free from silicone and parabens- I really like how earth-friendly everything about their product is. The colour scheme is green/black/gold and I like it, I think its nice and simple and sleek. The conditioner has an opaque green container compared to the shampoo which is see-through. It also has a pump like the shampoo- which is easy to use and also twists to close. All the products in this range smell the same- quite fresh and subtle with an ever so slight hint of nature. I really like the smell, it’s so fresh and not too overwhelming. The consistency of the conditioner was thick and creamy and felt rich and moisturizing. It spread easily onto my hair and I found that I didn’t need a lot of product, even though I have really thick hair. Afterwards my ends felt really moisturized and not so dry! I was impressed that my hair felt soft and the ends were healthier. This is also very affordable which is great, as often natural/vegan products are expensive. I would definitely use this again!
Tips: Squeeze some of the excess water off you hair before applying the conditioner!
Alongside the shampoo, this conditioner is my favourite from the Nature Box Avocado range.
Just like the shampoo, I love that this bottle has a pump dispenser, I find them so much easier to use in the shower and it does stop you from dispensing too much - however just like the shampoo I find I need several pumps to get a good covering on the lengths of my hair. The bottle isn't the biggest so I don't think it will last me all that long.
The smell is nice, a natural smell that isn't over powering and leaves my hair smelling clean. It's a really nice lightweight formula that doesn't weigh my hair down at all (which is great, as I have fine hair).
I definitely notice a big difference in the feel and appearance of my hair after using this shampoo/conditioner combo. My hair looks super shiny and healthy, it's much less frizzy and it isn't as much of a lions mane - even when I let it dry naturally.
I genuinely love this conditioner and I would definitely purchase again - I just wish it came in a bigger bottle!
Straight away when using this product my friends noticed a difference in my hair. I found this conditioner to be very hydrating on very damaged and stripped hair, without weighing it down and making it look heavy and greasy. The pump bottle gives out only a little product, which is more than enough. When used with the shampoo and treatment it gives amazing results.
Interestingly I used this conditioner when dying my hair pink as I wanted to make my hair pastel pink and the pink dye that I had was a bright vivid pink. It worked perfectly for this and made the dye a pastel colour as well as letting it set in. It meant that when I washed the dye out of my hair, my hair was left really smooth but not oily. It was so refreshing to have soft feeling hair after applying dye to it. I really like the smell and constituency of the conditioner too - some conditioners leave my hair really oily but this was not the case with this one as it left my hair soft instead!
This conditioner has a great feel to it, not too thick but not too thin and applies easily. I did find that I had to use quite a lot of product in comparison to other products that I have used. I found that my hair obsorbed it very quickly but it didn’t go very far. I did like that my hair felt great and so silky soft until it’s next wash even after exercise.
Tips: Start with a small amount of product and work your way up until your hair feels like it has enough.
I was fortunate enough to get to trial the nature box avocado oil conditioner. I have tried many different conditioners and although they initially feel good after my hair dries it feels like straw. I found however with the nature box avocado oil conditioner that my hair feels silky smooth and very healthy. After using this for the past few weeks I have seen lustre that has been lacking with past products and not as much frizz. I did miss having a nice fragrance to the product but am happy to do without it as it shows how natural it is to not have a fake fragrance in it. I love that it is a pump bottle too. The packaging could do with some work to help make it stand out from the crowd.
