Mega glow from this product. Beautiful healthy appearance. Mix a tiny bit with foundation and look well rested.
I really enjoy this. I usually place it on the tops of my cheeks and a little in my nose and above my brows and tap in with my finger. You'd think it would be quite bold but it's more of a lovely glow once it's tapped in.
Tips: If you powder it can also take away some shine but if I want some more oompf I just add a little powder highlight over top
I've really got into my contouring and highlighting, but have struggled to find a highlighter that gives me that really strobed look. So when I saw these highlighting drops, I was keen to get my hands on some concentrated looking highlight.
I love the bottle, it looks like expensive liquid gold and I'd love me some liquid gold.
In terms of performance, it actually isn't as concentrated as you think because it gets blended in, but it does have a luminous glow.
I also mix it in with foundation or primer sometimes to create a subtle dewy glowing look when I'm wanting that and only have more matte products on hand.
So there is versatility and glow, but I'm still looking for the highlight that strikes just right.
I purchased this highlighter in the last beauty vault. The shade was 01 sparkling love which is kind of like a light pearl with pink tinge id say, this colour suits my pale skin tone perfectly. I have been using this highlighter underneath my foundation is the places where id usually put highlighter. I find it really easy to use and love how it gives me such a natural glow. My skin is oily so i usually have to set my foundation really matte which is why this is good because i still have a subtle shimmer without looking oily. The bottle is huge for the amount you use at a time, i can already tell this will last me a long time.
These drops are very versatile - you can use it by itself in a traditional highlighter manner, or add them to your base products; primer, foundation or even moisturiser, to add extra luminosity to your look.
The dropper bottle is lovely and practical. The highlighter is a great medium consistency, not to runny, nor too thick (I'm not a fan of cream products)
I'm quite fair and I found the shade just a touch pink for it to be my perfect highlight, but when used as a mixer they were a great illuminator for my skin.
Another great product from Loreal!
What a highlighter!
I love to glow and am a bit of a highlighter addict. I've never tried drops before!
The bottle is like a medicine dropper, you know, Rescue Remedy style. It's cute, and does keep this liquid product mess-free.
You can use these in lots of ways. You can massage them all over your face as a primer, mix them to your foundation for more dewy finish, or just apply them as you would a cream highlight.
The sheen is luminous, it's super pretty, but you can opt for a more subtle look, or full on mega wattage.
Great product, great price. LOVE.
This product is overall very nice. The packaging is pretty, however the dropper isn't really necessary - a dipper type applicator would probably do the same job.
In the bottle the highlighter looks really intense and glowy, but it's actually quite sheer and natural when you blend it into your skin - especially over top of foundation. I had to be careful when dabbing it in when I was wearing foundation because it can mix with the foundation and change colours. However that is pretty typical with liquid highlighters, so it's probably something you can work around.
I did wear this highlighter without foundation on and it was much brighter, and overall looked a lot nicer. This product is recommended as something you wear under makeup to give your skin a subtle glow, and I think this is how it should be used.
Tips: Be careful not to blend the highlighter into the foundation too much or they will mix and look weird. Wear under foundation for a subtle glow!
These highlighting drops are a new favourite and was surprisingly easy to use. The consistency is thick but very easy to blend onto my makeup for a targeted highlighting effect. I like that it has multiple ways of applying and can be mixed into your foundation or moisturiser for an all over glow, or just used on specific areas over your foundation or moisturizer. I liked that it has small particles that imparts a natural glow and is infused with coconut oil. It has a very light pleasant fragrance that is not bothersome at all. It comes in a 15ml bottle that I'm sure will last me a long time as only a couple of drops are needed at a time and I was a bit concerned that quite a lot of product sticks to the dropper, but I found if you shake it well as instructed, it has a much thinner consistency and easier to use. The packaging is good and easy to use and the price is reasonable for a drugstore product. I would use this again if I run out and found it to be much better than powder highlighters and the fact that it can be used in multiple ways.
Tips: Shake the bottle before use for a thinner, easier to apply consistency.
I've really enjoyed using this mixed in with my foundation for the high points of my face to add some extra glow! Applying with a damp sponge makes it look so natural.
Have been using on and off for just over a year now and I'm only just getting towards the end of the bottle, a little goes a long way!
I originally purchased both 01 Sparkling Love and also 04 (the pinky shade) but ended up giving the pink toned one away as I was hoping I could use it as a glowy blushed look but it didn't give the effect I wanted.
I haven't see it in any stores lately but did notice it's still for sale on ASOS.
