So I was quite excited to trial this product as I nearly brought this a month back. Firstly the bottles are nice and sleek and really easy to open when wet. Easy to tell the difference between the shampoo and conditioner bottles which is a major bonus. The smell isn't overpowering and I haven't paid too much attention to it other than the fact I find it pleasant. The consistency is perfect for me and the biggest test was that it didn't strip my newly applied colour over the last few washes. The conditioner is absolutely amazing! I can run my fingers from root to tip in my waist length colour damaged hair and it just smoothes out and feels silky and incredible. Over the next few days my hair feels like it still has some moisture in it and I think this may be a new favourite.

Tips: FYI I have waist length curly hair and have a half head of highlights most of the time. My lighter parts are my main concern and I'm desperate to keep them as healthy as I can. Less can be more though I still use a slightly larger amount due to the length of my hair. Unfortunately I think if you have hair prone to being oily or feeling weighed down this may not be the right one for you.. However my hair loves it
The scent of this product is so strong! Its incredibly floral and mature so not my cup of tea at all. My hair was definitely smooth and silky though. I won't be in a hurry to buy the shampoo or conditioner in the future. Pantene is good value for money - it's just not suited to my fine long hair :)
Tips: If you are washing your hair at night time then it would pay to straighten your hair in the morning as after a quick brush my hair was fluffy!
Easily distributed in the hair with a lovely fragrance. Light weight feel. I can stretch the usage out to alternate days, however daily is possible better with my dyed hair. Great priced supermarket available conditioner that I'd buy myself.
This conditioner did what it said it would. I was impressed that my hair felt soft, silky and moisturised. I would consider repurchasing this product when I next need it!
The conditioner went some way to replace the moisture lost during shampooing, however I didn't feel that my hair was replenished. My hair feels lighter and the product does not weigh down my hair , but I only wash my hair every 2-3 days, so having only used the product twice it is possible that future use will improve results. I intend to finish the product to see any improvement.
Tips: Use a finishing product to finish off the result.
I've used my sample three times now and i really enjoyed using the conditioner it made my hair feel silky and smooth. I definitely feel as if it was doing its job properly
This conditioner is easy to apply and it smells great, it left the ends of my hair shiny and soft however I found that the roots of my hair were left oily and weighed down. I'm sure that if you suffered from dry hair, this conditioner would work wonders, but my hair type is too oily for this shampoo so I wouldn't use it again.
Using this conditioner in conjunction with the Prov-V shampoo left my hair silky and smooth with a lovely fragrance. Great overall coverage, easy to apply and best left on for a full two minutes. Once blow dried, (without mousse) my hair was noticeably well behaved with no fly-aways. I would definitely use this product again and recommend it to friends and family.
Tips: Towel dry hair before using the moisturizer, it made my hair easier to manage with a great shine.
Thank you Beauty Review for inviting me to this trial. I enjoyed the trial and have used the conditioner (and the matching shampoo) for the last 8 days.
I liked the texture of the conditioner - thick but not creamy - and the light smell (matching the shampoo). However, I was expecting that my hair would feel silky smooth once I had rinsed the conditioner out, but it didn't. There are some conditioners that really do that for my hair and I had high hopes for this one given the way it is described. But too be fair, 8 days is probably not long enough to make a huge difference, and it may be that my hair just needs a lot more of this product before it really starts to erase the damage of all my blow drying.
Overall I think my hair felt less dry at the ends and generally more nourished towards the end of the 8 days, and it seemed to have a bit more body, so perhaps this was the result of using the conditioner (and the matching shampoo).
I probably wouldn't buy this conditioner.
Tips: I'd suggest leaving the conditioner in for a bit longer than normal. I had a better result if I washed and conditioned my hair as the first step in my shower routine, then did all the other bits and lastly rinsed out the conditioner.
Being completely unimpressed with how the Pro V Moisture Renewal shampoo made my hair feel and behave, the only saving grace was that the conditioner reversed much of the strawlike effect and dullness that the shampoo caused. Despite a much nicer smell than the older formula of Pantene the conditioner was not strong enough to offset the damaging effect on my hair from the shampoo. I then used both the shampoo and conditioner separately on two occasions. It did not live up to the marketing hype. The Pro V Moisture Renewal shampoo alone (using my old formula Hydrating Curl conditioner) left my hair dull and lifeless. The Pro V Moisture Renewal Conditioner (paired with my Hydrating Curls old formula shampoo) did not leave my hair silken and it did not feel moisturised and shiny. It remained dull and worst of all fluffy which is a look that I loathe. While if left a nice fragrance on my hair it also made my hair greasy and flat after only a few days. I only wash and blow wave my hair every three or four days currently and this product would require me to change that routine to every second day. Not a change I would be willing to make.
Tips: It would appear that the Pro V Moisture Renewal products do not suit my long, coarse, wavy hair. I remain hopefull that the product I have been using previously (Pantene Hydrating Curls) will not be changed in such a way to make them unsuitable for my hair as these have turned out to be.
