I am hard to sway from my standard skincare routine, & really, I need an exfoliator. This is the only reason I would not buy again. It smells amazing, the whole series is awesome, the night cream is my favourite, but as they don't offer an exfoliating cleanser, it's not something I would buy again. If you have dry or sensitive skin though, then I would definitely recommend this,

I have to say I am a huge fan of anything with Rosehip in it, so I love this cleanser! The smell is delicious, the formula is really nice, and overall it does a good job! A little goes a long way with this, and my bottle has lasted ages, I also love the pump, so easy to get out when in the shower.
Only one quarm would be that sometimes I feel like it doesn't remove everything from my face, but nothing that another quick cleanse doesn't fix.
First of all the gentle smell of roses is absolutely divine. i love it! This stuff goes for miles. A full pump of this would probably do your entire body. i have very dry skin so Not only is it soap free (which means it won’t dry out my skin) but also contains Aloe Vera to help hydrate your skin while you cleanse it! its amazing.
This is the other half of the cornerstone of my beauty regime. I have a skin condition which requires me to vigilantly keep my skins moisture content and use very mild soaps that will not dry it out while trying to keep my skin clean. I first stumbled across this while on holiday at my sister in laws place, due to my skin issues I noted down the name of it, went home and did my research to double check some ingredients, then went back to the supermarket and purchased the Essano range in its entirety and I have never looked back. For the first time in my life since I was a child I have good skin. I loved what this has done for me so much after I raved about it on Facebook a friend of mine who is a beauty blogger asked me to write a review for her site to which I happily obliged and even Essano shared it on their Facebook page, sufficed to say I adore this product. In the case of this cleanser a little goes a long way, just like its matching moisturiser. I use these together and have felt a wonderful improvement in my skin. I have stopped overproducing oils on my face and has calmed immensely which I put down to using a mild cleanser that does not aggravate my temperamental skin. Using it in conjunction with its companion facial and body moisturisers I am left with a wonderful rose scent, which often means I can skip the need for perfume in the morning and save them for going out. I love to use organic products and this brand has gone the extra mile for theirs, they are vegan friendly, no parabens or sulphates, not tested on animals, and have an Ecocert certification (you might need to google that one but basically you have to go through a lot of hoops successfully to get one based on the production method used)
Tips: I'm one for natural based products so once a week I will add a pinch of baking soda to it to help soften my skin and lightly exfoliate it. I know some people have issues with baking soda being on their skin (which I find odd given its a main ingredient in almost every scrub i can think of) but using it this way has had no ill effects for me and helps to clear the dead skin from my face without having to scrub at it harshly.
I first stumbled across this as a sample size from Sample Bar and was so impressed I went out and bought the rest of the products from this range! It has a lovely scent, it foams well and you don't need to use much to feel like you've given your skin a decent cleanse. I have very oily skin and since using this for a few months it has calmed down a bit.
Tips: If you want to try the range, at Countdown they have an introductory pack with the cleanser, body lotion etc in it in sample sizes - great for taking on holiday too! Its usually $25 but I've seen it on sale for $20
This is a good basic average cleanser! I must be the only person in the world that is immune to rose-hip. So I gave this to my teenage brother that has sever acne to try out. Therefore I am writing this on his behalf and how well it worked for him.
At fist he was put off the scent but to me it smelled divine. So girly and rosey. One pump is enough and it therefore made it so much easier for someone in there teens especially boys to use.
It took about 3 weeks before we noticed a major difference. His pore were much clearer aswell as the blemishes where much smaller! No big bumps here! He seems much more confident now and he doesn't mind the scent due to how effective it was.
I love the pump bottle, very easy to use and one pump usually is enough. The consistancy of this cleasner Is a nice smooth thickness. The smell Is lovely and very suttle which is great. I love the fact that It has rosehip oil in it which my skin is in favour of. It leave's my skin feeling smooth and clean, the only downfall for my skin (which is combination) is that it seemed to dry it out abit and make my skin feel tight, which I did'nt think would happen as it contains rosehip oil and is soap-free and claims to be non drying., so for that reason I do no longer use this or have repurchased this product. It's just not for me sadly as it is really affordable.
Tips: some skin types will need a good serum or moisterzier to re hydrate the skin after cleansing.
I've been using this after trying it in my samplebar subscription, I've purchased the full size which is very generous for sizing. I really like the scent. The cleanser has a thick gel like consistency, and is easy to apply. I do need to make sure when washing it off, that it is properly rinsed off, as it is thick. It gently removes eye makeup as well.
I was really excited to try this product when I first saw it at Countdown. The packaging is great - I loved the brown bottle with the rose coloured label and bottle with the pump - the price is fabulous - I believe I paid $15 at Countdown.
The texture and constancy (thick) of the Cleanser is very nice and the application is easy and smooth on the face. I love the pump as you know exactly how much you need without wastage.
I found the cleanser did not remove my make-up (even when using a make-up wipe first to remove excess) my excess eye Make-up just seemed to smudge around my face. I was not too keen on the smell personally and that actually put me off the product.
At this stage I do not plan to re-purchase as it did not quite meet MY needs, however that does not mean I would not recommend to others as I do believe it is a great product.
I bought this - and the rest of the Essano rosehip range in a kit that I got from Countdown. I hadn't really paid attention to rosehip previously, but was reading all of the rave reviews on the forums here and knew I had to try it.
I have been using this every night (and the moisturiser daily), and my skin looks the best it has in years.
With the pack I got, this came with a pump that is easy to disperse product. I use two squirts and that covers my face and neck.
What I like to do is (before bed), wet my face, apply this, floss and brush my teeth (leaving this on while I do this), and then rinse this off. Then I use the other Essano products.
I am glad this doesn't have exfoliating properties in it because I read somewhere that exfoliating daily isn't good for dry skin.
I feel that this - and the other products in the Essano range, have helped even out my red cheeks and they definitely have helped my dry skin.
This range is my new holy grail in skincare and it will be difficult for me to ever try anything else. This is amazing.
I highly, highly recommend this!!!
Tips: If you haven't tried this range before I recommend going to the supermarket and getting their 'starter kit'. It has 4 different products in it that are a fantastic introduction to the range, and it's really affordable.
