Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser

I received this as part of the BRBB. The packaging is really appealing, as is the fact it is NZ made. How rare too to find a product with ingredients which you can actually pronounce!

The scent as others have mentioned is REALLY strong, somehow both floral and fruity. I would think that if you are sensitive skinned, or are bothered about strong fragrances then this would be a no go for you.

I find the texture to be not too heavy and not too light- probably well suited to normal skins. Because this doesn't have spf I find I don't tend to reach for this one very often in the daytime. Instead I use this one at night when I have used a heavy serum, or am breaking out (so I don't have anything too heavy on the skin). I do also often use this at night when I am going out and therefore want no SPF for photos.

I found this one a difficult one to review- simply because I have no real strong opinions on it. Its not a bad moisturizer, nor is it one that I find does anything amazing for my skin. The scent is a little off putting, and I find that it doesn't seem to match their NZ made, natural beauty image that they are trying to promote. I do think that for NZ made it is a fantastic price, and is probably a great entry into natural products without breaking the bank. I find for myself though that I would probably be inclined to look elsewhere. I do think that most day moisturizers should have SPF particularly in our harsh NZ climate.

Like many of us here on BR, this was a product I received as part of the Septemeber Beauty box, and when I saw this product in the box I was really happy because I had seen this brand around but hadn't gotten around to trying any of the products yet so it was perfect timing.

This moisturizer comes in a lilac purple colored plastic squeeze tube with a twist off lid. The packaging is simple, but i actually really like it, plus i love the colour of it.

The moisturizer is white in colour, light weight and has a slight sheen to it. Its a good consistency, but like i said .. its still light weight. The one thing about the formula which I am not a huge fan of is the smell. something about it just doesn't sit right with me, and its a smell that lingers so its quite hard to get over it.

I have tried using this as a face moisturizer but disliked it for three reasons. The first reason is that there is no SPF, and my daily moisturizer needs to have an spf. However this would be a good point if you were going to a special occasion where lots of photos would be taken. The second thing is the smell, like mentioned above its pretty intense and not the smell i look for in a face moisturizer, and lastly, I find this takes a while to fully absorb on my face so its not ideal for my morning routine where I am always running late and have no time for moisturizer to sink into my skin. It also made my t-zone especially greasy during the day which is not ideal either.

Overall, I wouldn't repurchase this and am trying to finish the tube off by using it as a body moisturizer.

I was rather excited to try this brand so was quite happy when I found it in the BRBB.

The packaging is nice and simple, the purple/silver looks really nice on my vanity and is a little bit different to a lot of the other products I have on the vanity.

The first thing I noticed about this product was the scent which I found a little over powering for that time of the morning, I found it quite floral and fresh smelling which to begin with isn't my type of scent. I also found that it lingers.

The product itself is quite light weight and does well at hydrating, however on my skin I found it VERY oily, in fact so oily that even a mattfying primer and powder isn't enough to set my makeup to my face. This moisturiser turns my face into an oil slick....I didn't even think my skin was that oily!

I probably won't be repurchasing, though I am about half way through so will use it up because I hate waste. I mean that's what blotting paper is for right? ;)

This is a lovely moisturiser from a gorgeous brand. Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser comes in a cute, muted pink tube, and smells like a delicious array of fresh fruits without being overpowering. The lotion is lightweight and easily absorbed, and I love how it's also jam-packed with so many goodies and is not tested on animals.

The only reason why I will not be repurchasing this product is that it does not contain an SPF! I always look for an SPF in my moisturisers as that is key in caring for your skin. As a result, I've been using this as a night moisturiser and it does the job.

I got this in my Beauty Box from BR and was excited to try it. I love the fact that it is in a tube which makes it easily accessible and you can get every last drop out. Unfortunately that's the only thing I liked about this moisturiser. I really didn't like the smell, I can't explain the scent only that my nostrils scrunched up every time I tried to smell it. It also didn't do anything for my dry skin and because its also sensitive, I had a bit of a reaction to it. Unfortunately not for me.

I got this in the September BRBB and was overjoyed to try a new moisturiser, especially a NZ brand. I had never heard of Chia seed oil in any skincare before but I know the health benefits of Chia seeds so I was in the attitude of 'Bring it On'.

I love the cute packaging colour which is a pastel pink/purple colour and satisfies my need to be girly. It has the brand name Goodness printed up the entire length of the tube which stands out to me. When I see something with the word Goodness on it of course I want to give it a go. It just makes it even better to be a NZ branded product. I love supporting local businesses.

The formula is quite light and not overly thick which I like in a moisturiser. The smell is quite pleasant and fresh. It doesn't smell chemically which is something I dislike intensely. I love there is a foil tab to protect the product from seeping out and also so I know it isn't used and is fresh inside.

I made sure I cleansed my face first and then applied this to my face. My skin drank it in as fast as I applied it. After only two days I broke out in a big angry pimple which made me feel self-conscious about going out. I put it down this this because it was the only thing I changed in my routine and because I wasn't hormonal at that time of the month. I put it to the back of the draw and forgot about it, that was until November.

After finding out recently that my skin was not dry like I thought, that it's combination I gave this moisturiser another whirl. It was only fair that I do so right?! I started off with my newly acquired cleanser and toner followed by this baby. The results were as opposite as day and night from the first try. My skin felt soft, nourished and believe it or not my face has never looked better! I in part owe that to Goodness. So if something may have not worked the best first time around I have learned to give it another go it may surprise you.

I love this product. I don't usually stray away from my usual Olay moisturiser but this product popped up in my beauty box so I was intrigued to try it. It has a very strong scent to it which I don't enjoy for face products particularly although i'm getting used to it. Aside from that it is a really great moisturiser and definitely hydrates your skin and makes it feel great. Applies very smoothly with little needed and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily which is always a bonus!

The packaging is super simple and the cream itself is white and of a normal consistency. It spreads easily so a little goes a long way. The scent is quite strong and a little artificial but I don't mind it.

It is a great basic moisturiser and my skin just soaks it up. After a few minutes it's completely absorbed and I don't feel it sitting on my skin. However I do feel that it's quite heavy for my oily/combo blemished skin. While it doesn't break me out, I do notice getting a lot shinier after a couple of hours especially in my T zone but is perfect for the rest of my face. I think it would suit dry/normal skin a lot more. I also really like that it uses natural ingredients so you know it's good for you! I just wish that they'd come out with a lighter moisturiser.

The moisturiser comes in a pink tube with a silver-grey screw on top. The cream is white and of a normal consistency. It absorbs well and leaves a bit of a cream layer when applied. The Goodness every morning moisturiser has a beautiful semi-sweet bubblegum scent.

This moisturiser made my oil-prone skin oily during the days I have used it. I would consider using it in winter and would definitely recommend it to women with normal to dry skin types,
