L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo Review

Nothings worse then maintaining "Red Hair" for those who have Red Hair you know the struggle haha. I have to retouch my hair every 2 weeks to keep the color nice and rich and every time I wash my hair with normal shampoo and conditioner it just strips the colour out. So I was excited to try out the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo & Conditioner. I used it for 2 weeks , and washed my hair every 2-3 days. The first thing i noticed is when I washed my hair it didn't strip my color out which was amazing! It left my hair feeling soft and once my hair had dried I noticed that it made my hair colour look more shiny. I still need to retouch my hair but since using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect range It has helped my hair color to stay more vibrant for longer.

The ELVIVE range is definitely my go to supermarket shampoo and conditioner range. I absolutely love, love, love this product!

Majority of Supermarket brands tend to make my hair feel dry and crisp.. not the ideal thing when you already fry and dye your hair with bleach and other goodies. I found that the Colour Protect shampoo was a fabulous and nourishing shampoo. It cleansed without stripping the hair completely!

I found that my colour looked brighter after using it, it didn't get as brassy or faded after washing my hair - I didn't find that colour was falling out when I was washing it.

I absolutely love the packaging.. It's so sleek and modern - Looks great in my bathroom! I also really enjoyed the scent.. I find that supermarket shampoos smell so harsh - but this was light and floral. Absolutely perfect!

I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and I will be continuing with using this product and trying out others in the range!

The first time I used this I noticed a difference in my hair straight away. It felt so soft and shiny than before. Also my colour has stayed maintained which is a bonus as being blonde it can fade quite quickly. I normally mix up my shampoos and conditioners between supermarket and salon brands every week as otherwise my hair gets used to it and I don't really notice a difference after a while. I used this for a week and it was still just as soft and shiny like the first time I used it. Used with the conditioner it's a great combination and the overall results look great. I'm happy with how my hair looks and feels using this shampoo, especially the colour which looks healthy and brighter.

So I have been trialling this shampoo for the past two weeks and I can say it actually works. I dyed my hair just to make the most of this product and of course for a change and it has actually stayed, the colour still looks as though I dyed it yesterday. Also the scent and texture of the product is very good. I would definitely recommend.

I use salon branded shampoo but when ive run out or am feeling the purse pinching a bit this L'Oréal shampp and conditiomer combo is my go to brand. Light and non greasy a good substitute for a short time. After a while my hair starts to feel limp so I drop the conditioner back and it comes right.

Excellent on my hair, really soaped up well and cleaned my hair, recommend it to others. I only need to use a little amount in my hand and I Did this twice I got that very squeaky clean feel. The shampoo is a great price at $8.99 has latest me a lot longer than other shampoos that I have brought as I seem to be using less. Would recommend L Oreal Paris Elvive colour Protect shampoo.

I have coloured hair that is wavy and can become dry and frizzy at times. L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo was great because took care of the issues that I have with my hair and it does everything it claims to do. I found after using this product, my hair seemed more radiant and shiny and I also had a few people comment on the colour of my hair as well.

The smell is pleasant, kind of florally and the colour of the bottle is a bright bold red which is a visual bonus for the bathroom. The bottle is also easy to hold and is quite ergonomic overall.

I would buy this product again but found I got the full benefits of this product when using in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Conditioner and then using a L'Oréal hair mask once a week.

This product tends to leave my hair feeling like most supermarket shampoos.. really dry and like straw like. It smells amazing however and alongside the conditioner, my colour hasn't faded any further in the last couple of weeks since I have been using it. It has also made my colour look brighter but I do think that there are better things out there for the same price

I started using this product about two week after I last coloured my hair. The shampoo is very moisturising and smells pleasant. My hair felt stronger after using this every two days for a week (my hair is ombre and the blonde parts are quite damaged). The colour has not faded much in the time I have been using this, I was doing two shampoos each time I washed my hair.

I got to trial, which I was super excited about ! But after just one use of this shampoo, it left my hair dry but it did do the job. I think i may be allergic to this as I got tiny tiny little sports along my hairline after using this, but I think this is just me and it probably wont happen to you.

This does colour protect my hair and it did work on my mum as well, but it did leave it feeling very dry and a bit stripped from the nautural oils.
