I had the opportunity to review this shampoo along with the conditioner. The packaging is nice and bright and the smell was simple but pleasant. I used this shampoo to wash my hair over the last couple of weeks. I was not overly impressed with the way it made my hair feel. It did not seem to feel completely clean and no matter how much I rinsed felt like there was still some residue. It may just be my hair but I felt I had to use a different product every second wash to bring the shine back as this product seemed to make it feel limp and greasy. Did it do what it says it will? Well I don't think I can fully comment as the trial period was not really long enough and I had nothing to compare it to. It does claim on the bottle 80% of colour preserved after 28 washes - not entirely sure what they mean here as for me personally 28 washes would take about 9-10 weeks and most colours have begun to fade in that time anyway. I want a product that preserves the colour and shine from day one!

Tips: You do not need a lot as it does lather excessively. If you are prone to limp greasy hair I would not recommend this product.
I was a bit unsure of this product, as I dye my hair all sorts of weird colours its hard to find something that works. This product worked as well as I could have expected. It didn't hold all of my colour (although I am semi-permanent blue right now so I didn't expect it) but it kept it looking vibrant and not faded at all, unlike other shampoos I have tried. The smell is amazing as well, very floral/fruity.
This shampoo arrived just in time as I had left my other shampoo and conditioner in Wellington. I found the shampoo lathered well with a small amount which is a bonus. My hair definitely needed the conditioner after the shampoo though.. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant. I must admit I do get confused about which bottle the shampoo and conditioner are in with one being up the right way and the other upside down and was always grabbing the wrong bottle first. Pays to check before you pour it into your hand as otherwise its a wasted pour. My colour done three weeks ago is maintaining its caramel colour and not going brassey which is good. I would use again, good shampoo at a good price.
I have just recently (for the first time) had my hair highlighted 5 weeks ago from natural Brunette to Blonde highlights. So this trial came at a perfect time.
I have shoulder length hair, and only shampoo'd every second day as my hair doesn't get very oily. I used the Shampoo along with the Colour-Protect Conditioner.
I love the colour and shape of the bottle it is a great size and doesn't take up to much room on the shower shelf which i like. It has a nice creamy consistency and a great smell that is not to over powering. I did find that when i used it i didn't need to use very much to get a good lather on my hair, but the more I massaged it in the more my hair become like straw and was hard for me to massage my fingers through which was very frustrating. I haven't really been able to tell if my colour has faded or not but i have noticed it does appear to be going ever so slightly brassy in my opinion but everyone around me says it isn't so i'm not to sure. I think this product might not be good for bleached blonde hair as i think this is why it was causing my hair to go straw like perhaps? I most likely won't use it again as it is just so hard to massage it through my hair,
Tips: I find that you only need a small amount to cover your whole head to get a good lather going on.
This product came at the perfect time for me, as I had just had my hair coloured blonde Ombre a week before it arrived. (im a natural brunette). The first thing i noticed was the bottle shape & design, this might sound silly but its nice to have a slender bottle so it doesnt take up so much room in the shower! The smell was amazing too, a real clean smell, not overly floral or sweet. The shampoo was great, didnt matt my hair which some shampoos tend to do. the blonde tones have stayed nice and golden, no brassy notes have come through and the colour is nice and even. I will definitely be purchasing this myself to continue using the product! I love the way it makes my hair feel too, like ive just had a wash at the salon, every time!!
Tips: dont use too much, just a small amount in the palm of your hands and masage it through. a little goes a long way with this shampoo.
I used this a few times and I found it worked quite well for a supermarket brand shampoo, a lot of my hair has been bleached so I thought it didn't work too well on that part of my hair but the part that has been coloured a reddish colour I did think it made the colour seem more vibrant. It did really knot my hair so I couldn't have used it without following with conditioner.
Tips: Use conditioner afterwards because it will knot your hair otherwise.
I have been using this now for 2 weeks. Great size. At the start i was using a wee bit to much but as i didnt know how much to use now i use about a pea size or more. Great smell and its not runny like some shampoos i have used. And lathers up real good you are knowing that your whole hair is covered i have a short haircut so it totally covered at first i didnt notice a different bbut after the fourth time my colour was brighter people even asking if i had my hair coloured which was great
Tips: A little goes a long way dont use to much as i did
I had the opportunity to trial this shampoo together with the conditioner and had mixed results with it. I first used the shampoo and conditioner together and found that it made my hair very flat and limp, although my hair felt very soft and shiny. The shampoo was very rich and creamy and smelt pleasant enough and you only have to use a small amount. I like to shampoo twice. I got a better result from using the shampoo with a different conditioner and found that I was still able to retain the volume and body of my hair and it was just as effective as my other shampoo which I pay a lot more for. Pricewise, I think it is value for money. The combination of both the shampoo and conditioner did not work for me but separately, with another conditioner, it produced a good result for me and I would buy this product again.
Tips: Shampooing twice gives you a good lather and you only need to use a small amount.
Trialed this as apart of this website which was awesome because free stuff cool!!
Nice bright packaging which is eye-catching and to me it looks a bit fancier than your standard shampoo! So upon showering with a head full of hair spray, I used about a 50c coin and it lathered up something crazy which i love shampoo doing - but apparently this is a bad sign? However, i like it because then i know what parts i've missed etc. Once i washed it out i still didnt really feel clean and felt a little straw like. The next couple of times i shampooed it felt the same that it didnt fully clean my hair! So i'm unsure about this product but on a plus side it smelt good!
Tips: This stuff lathers like crazy but maybe this is just a cover up for the fact it doesn't clean as well?
After using this shampoo for just over a week, I found this shampoo did not meet my expectations. It left my hair dry and looking drab rather than fab. It has a nice smell but it doesn't do anything to your hair as what other shampoos from the supermarket do. I was disappointed that this shampoo did nothing for my hair.
