I love this bath bomb. It's simple and perfect. There is no glitter that could cause irritation. The scent isn't strong or overpowering. It's just a lovely natural bath bomb that makes you feel nice and refreshed. If you don't like any bath bombs with strong scents or any hidden bonuses then i would suggest this.

Lush Avobomb Bath Bomb Review
Lush Avobomb Bath Bomb Review
For liveliness and softer skin. If you’re the sort who lounges in bed, Avobath is what you need to get you moving in the morning. It’s a refreshing ballistic with freshly mashed avocado and olive oil to treat your skin to a banquet, and lemongrass to stimulate sleepy brains. When you’re sluggish in the morning, get up and Avobath.

This was such a lovely bath bomb to use! Much simpler than Lush's other 'fancy' bombs like Twilight and Lord of Misrule, Avobomb is just a simple green bomb with no surprises in the middle or anything. That said, it smells really lovely and not too strongly. A nice big bomb, it dissolves when placed in the tub, making the water a green colour and gently scenting the water. It doesn't smell like avocado though, in case you're wondering! More like a lovely, earthy mix of gentle essential oils. Would definitely recommend, especially if you like bath bombs but aren't super into the more extreme glittery, strong smelling Lush options.
I personally loves all things Avocado, so this caught my eye as soon as I walked into the Lush store. It smells heavenly and leaves your skin smelling and feeling so fresh. This is the perfect accompaniment for a luxurious bath after a long day. If you love avocado you better avo-go with this bath bomb!
Absolutely loved the smell (of course) it was very fresh and not too strong. It doesn't do anything too exciting when it's fizzing just a minty colour but I felt that it was a relaxing bath bomb overall which also made my skin very soft afterwards.
Avobath is a good bath bomb if you're not one of those people that like strong scents. It's very subtle and earthy and the lemongrass is very relaxing. Once you get into the bath you can't really smell it but you can feel the bath bomb ingredients sinking into your skin, making it soft and smooth. 10/10 would recommend.
When I received my Christmas order from Lush I was devestated to find ruined bombs. Fast forward a few weeks and they had sent me a few replacements from their regular line, this being one of them. I was stoked! I hadn't tried it, so the next bath I had, I popped it in.
The smell of this bomb is unreal. It's so fresh, and very uplifting. I love the use of lemongrass, it gives it a delicious zing of citrus without being too in your face, and the bergamot compliments it well. I wasn't aware it had lustre in it, but I do enjoy it.
My bomb sunk to the bottom so I didn't see it doing anything, but it smelled amazing, fizzed quite quickly and oh my lawd my body was soft after, thanks to the mashed avo and olive oil. This bomb was really nice, and I'd use it again.
I liked this bath bomb but prefer others! It has a nice refreshing lemongrass scent but I found once it was actually in the bath I couldn't really smell it that well.
The bath just goes a nice minty green colour, no glitter or anything but that doesn't bother me!
It did leave my skin feeling nice and smooth, I just wish the smell was stronger once fizzed!
Will try others before I repurchase this.
Nice.... But nothing amazing.
I love this bath bomb for a nice relaxing day, usually I go for the pretty ones with heaps of different colours but this bath bomb is so relaxing and nice that I had to pick it up and I loved it!
I've been a Lushie for years but have only recently rediscovered bath bombs. I'm usually more of a bubble bar girl. What turned my head was realising just how soft bombs leave your skin. No need for body lotion afterwards has me sold!
I hadn't tried this bomb before as it doesn't stand out from the pretties in store and the name just doesn't do it justice. It's packed with avocado but that's not its main scent. I always find it quite hard to pick out the scent of individual items instore too. The lovely Lush assistant recommended this one to me as I was feeling under the weather. I'd also just ordered the matching shower gel from the Lush Kitchen in the UK on the basis that it was lemongrass based and might wake me up in the mornings.
This bomb doesn't put on much of a show and just gently fizzes away. It does leave your skin lovely and soft though. These benefits continued until my next bath the following day. My skin actually felt like I had used a body oil or butter on it. I used half each time and this was enough (I paired the second half with my avoshower when it arrived). It turns the bath a milky green. Apparently there's glitter in there but I don't see any evidence of it.
Whilst this bomb didn't give me the get up and go I was hoping for (let's face it, I'm looking for a miracle, not a bomb!) it makes a refreshing morning bath.
Tips: Probably cheaper than a real avocado right now!
This week's bath bomb choice, sold me as soon as I saw "mood boosting"!
The avocado and lemongrass are a nice mix together and it has a zesty scent to it. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and smelling fresh afterwards and gives the bath a beautiful green tint in colour.
One of the more affordable LUSH bathbombs I've used recently so was a win win!
Tips: Break the bathbomb in half if you are wanting more than one use out of it.
