Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub

Firstly, the bright blue colour really attracted me to this product. I also like the refreshing scent that this product gives off. When the product is used on dry skin, it does feel gritty. But when I mixed the scrub with a small amount of water before applying it on my skin, it doesn't feel as rough. After using it, my skin does feel clean and smoother but I wouldn't describe it as extra smooth/soft. Overall, I thought it was a decent scrub. I didn't try it out as a shampoo as I didn't like I would like the rough feeling on my scalp.However, the application of it does get messy even in the shower as it can get quite slippery and one tub doesn't last long as I felt a decent amount is needed to have a proper exfoliation.

I love this shower scrub! I love the fresh smell and the way my skin feels clean and soft afterwards. I also use the Lush Turkish Bath shower smoothie so I alternate between the 2 as I don't find I need the scrub daily. In the summer time though the Rub Rub Rub would be beautiful after a day at the beach or in the pools. I haven't yet used it for my hair but it says you can.

I love lush products, most of them anyway. There was so much praise for this product I thought I would give it a go. I am one of the few that doesn't like it. The one good thing I found was it is a good 'scrub'. The particles weren't 'sharp' and didn't irritate my skin, a decent exfoliation experience.

I HATE the smell. It smelt like washing powder (surf/persil) to me. While I am ok with my clothes smelling like that, I don't want my skin to smell like it.

It's messy. I found that most of it would fall out of my hands and down the drain before I was able to scrub it all into my skin. Also, I found I used quite a bit per wash. Though I would use a little a at time, by the time I had finished I had used a handful (that seems excessive).

Not a fan of the packaging either. Though I realise it probably wouldn't work with a pump, I am clumsy when it comes to tubs in showers. Perhaps it's not meant to be an everyday thing as it is a 'scrub'? But I prefer the 'Buffy' and "You snap the whip" body bars for their ease of use than this.

My mum bought me this for Christmas, we have a swimming pool that uses chlorine I loved to use it afterwards in the shower to clean the grime of chemicals off.

I love this lush product its so amazing. The sea salt in it exfoliates your skin really well leaving it feeling soft and clean. It is really refreshing to use and smells really fresh and tropical.

This is basically a body scrub and soap in one. It smells very fresh and summery which I love about it. After using it I feel very clean and smooth. This is also quite affordable and a tub lasts a decent amount of time. Only thing which I dislike about this product is that you need around a handful of it for your whole body.

I love every lush product I have tried! I have never used this for my hair but have enjoyed this scrub for my body. I love the feel of the roughness in the sea salt only to wash it off and feel simply smooth all over. It makes my skin feel uplifted and I enjoy the fresh scent it leaves on me. As I generally have more than one lush product in my shower at a time I really like that they come in stackable tubs. If it smells fresh and makes you feel clean and smooth, it's always a good thing.

I am a big fan of this scrub. The tub is really cute and fits well with all the other Lush products. It is also really easy to use by just taking a little bit and rubbing it softly into the skin. You can feel the product working at sloughing away all the dead skin and leaving skin soft and silky smooth.

The smell is also lovely and lingers on the skin for a decent while afterwards. It does say you can also use it in your hair, but I have not yet been game enough to try this. It is relatively pricey and if you're using it over most of your body it can run out quite fast, but I think it is worth it and I would be keen to repurchase.

A friend recommended that I use this scrub as I work as a swimming instructor. It is amazing at scrubbing away the chlorine sensation and smell! It is a little pricey for everyday use, as I feel like it would run out quite quickly. The smell is great, and it exfoliates your skin really well... My skin has never felt so smooth! The only disappointment is the packaging, as it is in a tub which lets water in = product dissolving. For a longer lasting product, store outside of the shower. Overall this is an amazing product that everyone should definitely try!

I got this as a gift, it smells so amazing, really nice and fresh which is always good for waking up in the morning! It is the first body scrub I used and I think I would have preferred something a bit thinner in consistency, this scrub is really thick which I found a little hard to use. Definitely does what it says though my skin always felt so smooth afterwards, another fantastic Lush product but not quite right for me.
