Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

I ordered this off mightyape for $15. I have dry skin, and wanted something abit lighter than foundation to wear on days i dont want full coverage. As always i moisturise and prime before applying, it has quite a thin consistancy but blends out well, but after an hour or two of wear it went oily! I have dry skin and this NEVER happens. Even when i set this with powder and setting spray i still end up looking oily so i was not impressed.,

I found this looked terrible on my skin. It made me look like an oily mess even though I have dry skin. The colour was also bad and my dry patches were made worse. Sorry but a big no for me.

This BB cream does everything it says it does, and is especially great for evening my skin tone. I do wish it was a higher SPF for summer, however.

I got this BB cream in the 'light' shade as part of a goody bag. I was excited to try it out as it has 2% salicylic acid and my skin is prone to break outs. I also like that it has SPF in it . This goes on smoothly and covers just as well as my Revlon Colorstay Foundation, but feels lighter and is a lot quicker to use for days when I want to wear minimal makeup or am in a rush. I haven't noticed it actively helping with my breakouts but my skin hasn't gotten any worse wearing it. As I'm quite pale the light shade is a teeny bit darker than my normal foundation but I feel I can get away with this during the summer months. I would repurchase this as its a good coverage, affordable BB cream, which mostly delivers, I just wish it came in a few more shades!!

I love this product, I use it almost everyday! It is great for evening out my skin tone and helps moisturize my little dry face! I don't find it too oily either. I usually put a powder on top because while it's not oily it can make my face a little bit shiny. It is also very affordable to buy regularly.

I loved this stuff. I have rosacea and this covered it up better then I expected. I would use on its own or mix it with a full coverage foundation if I was going for a "simple" look. Does what it says except it didnt mattify for me. It did get me a little oily around the nose but nothing tragic. Will be definitely repuchase sometime soon.

My bf actually bought me my first ever one of these for Christmas and it looks nice, really convenient can pull out and apply anywhere so is really good for just a on the go.

I got the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream as a sample two years ago and I've tried about 3 or 4 other brands and types of BB Creams but the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream has been my number 1 for 2 years and running. I use the product as my foundation, as has a good coverage. The product is build-able depending on if you were going for a night out or an event you can build up the BB Cream to a full-coverage, without it looking too cakey. The BB Cream doesn't dry out your skin and it doesn't heavily pick up dry patches. It is very easy to blend and it does the job.

What I have noticed over the year is that the BB Cream shade sets a bit differently to the shade when it is applied. So to overcome this I have come to terms that I'll do my eye makeup while I wait for the BB Cream to set, then I'll do my bronzer and contouring.
