Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

I have oily and acne-prone skin so when I saw that this product aims at oily skin and it has salicylic acid, I was sold. I know salicylic acid helps with acne so it sounds like a great product for my skin.

I found this really nice as a base under my foundation. It's light on the skin and applies smoothly. I got the shade Light which is actually not that light and too pink-toned for my liking. However, I can still use it under my normal foundation but just not by itself due to the colour.

It's meant to be mattifying though and I didn't it was. Overall, I still liked this product and would repurchase it if it comes on sale. I think for the original price of $26.99, you can get cheaper and better BB creams but if you get it on sale, it's more worth it.

It's light, but covers up, giving your skin a fresh, dewy appearance. Bonus is the sunscreen!

It's only 30mls so it doesn't last that long, I use a little at a time. Spreads well

I was excited when this product came out as I liked BB cream but have an oil-prone complexion and can't wear many liquid foundations. It says that it is a matte formula, but I don't find that it works that way for me. I use it under a powder as it gives coverage and doesn't clog up my pores at all. This is quite a runny formula, and applies better with my fingers than with a sponge. It blends well and feels light.

Great price, easy to find and with spf, this product has huge potential. a few issues i found were that the light was still to dark and while the cover was great on most of my skin, parts of my T zone would start looking patchy and separated. Overall a light and comfortable product for every day use.

I love this product, its a great price, it has great coverage and lasts all day and it has a nice look to it on the skin, I always repurchase this when I run out and wear it most days of the week

I use this, many times. Lots for a full coverage and a little for light coverage. The only problem is my complexion is light, it colour matches well in summer but in winter it's too dark and there are no other colour options as i use the lightest.

Great for a natural look. It does cover redness but not much else. Its very lightweight and you don't even notice that you have it on.

I picked this up at a sale for $12 in the shade "light". I mainly got it because of the cheap price tag, the fact that it contains SPF, and because I have been trying out lots of different BB creams lately to try and find the perfect one for me.

The product is unlike any other BB cream I have used because it has a very runny consistency. I apply it with my fingers and it does go on easily and blends really well. I do have to use quite a bit to get the desired (ish) effect. It feels very light and makes my skin look dewy and fresh.

However, it does not cover up blemishes and redness well enough for me which is disappointing. I find that I need to use some mineral foundation powder over the top.

You can pick this up at the local supermarket but it only has 3 colour options light, medium and dark. Light is a little too light for my face. Medium I have a spray tan. Matchability on your face will not be the greatest. If it is going under foundation, this shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

It is in a small screw top tube with the lid being a turquoise-blue in colour. The lids help differ it from the Dream fresh range, similar tube, different lid. It does contain a spf of 15. The coverage is light, you can see it is there but it doesn’t cover freckles, spots etc and if you don’t rub it in properly you can see it. Application is easy. Fingers, sponge or brush, your choice. When put in your hand it forms a puddle rather than holding a shape like a thicker cream. It is very liquid as opposed to creamy. About the size of a pea should be enough to cover your face and start down your neck. I use this for the no made up make up look rather than foundation with mineral powder on top even though it does have a matte finish.

Will I purchase again? If in need, yes but there are other CC and BB creams I want to try once this is finished. Mainly to find a better match with my skin tone.

I brought this hoping it would be amazing like the other BB creams i have brought. I got it in the colour Light and it was way to dark for me and quite orange. I do have quite pale skin. I found once i had it on for a couple hours it went more orange and came off quite quickly.... If they make a lighter colour i may try again :)
