Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

Probably wouldn't call it a "dream" product. This product is a BB cream with the benefit of salicylic acid. It comes in attractive packaging and is a nice size container that it lasts a decent while whilst still being convenient to carry in a handbag or cosmetic bag. It works well under foundation and the colour suited me fine.

However, I found that this BB cream really dried out my skin. I didn't cover anything on its own, but under foundation it was almost like a tinted moisturiser (but this is the same I have found with all BB creams).

Overall, probably wouldn't buy it again simply because I found it dried out my skin more than other BB creams I have tried.

After reading a few mixed reviews on here I decided to go and try this out. First I was happy with the price as lets be honest after that I wasnt expecting too much. I tried it and I really love it! When I'm not wearing foundation this is my go to. It evens out my skin tone and stops my face becoming shiny. I don't find that it covers blemishes all that well by itslef but I just put concealer on first and then my BB and it covers just fine :)

I have been using this for the past year & it does such a great job that I don't have any desire to try a different BB cream.

It has a build able medium coverage, I find this great for day to day wear. I have very acne prone skin that breaks out with most foundations, however this actually does the opposite for me, having salicylic acid in it I feel really helps my spots.

For the price (around $20) you can't beat this product!! I would possibly go as far as saying it is my HG!

Personally, I didn't really like this - at all! It was really dry on my skin, didn't have much coverage, and caused my skin to become ultra dry and also caused a little bit of pimples.

Received full size from Her Fashion Box couple weeks ago and have been quiet impressed. I don't have oily skin more mature sensitive skin. I have the medium which matched my skin tone really well, I actually tried 2 different ways to apply, first with my fingers, felt very silky smooth and covered nicely, then with my blender sponge which I much preferred, gave a better coverage.

Now did it do all 8 things it has listed, not quite, didn't feel it covered all my imperfections but still I will continue to wear on its own in summer. I felt it was great under my foundation, now that was a great combination, covered all my imperfections then. I've been wearing since I received it and when it runs out will definately re-purchase.

Dream Pure BB is in my makeup bag right now, I've re-purchased it twice and use it every day. With oily, blemish prone, sensitive skin I find it hard to find a BB that suits my skin and is a good colour, so I was really happy and surprised by how great this one is! It has decent coverage, is not orange at all, lasts all day, keeps it relatively matte and doesn't irritate or dry. If you have oily skin I would 100% recommend this.

I had my doubt when I first saw this in Countdown, I didn't think it was going to work on my oily face; but the Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream surprised me! Not only did it stay on my face all day for 8 hours straight without having to blot my face or reapply, but it also make my face looks flawless, not cakey and a little goes a long way.

I recently purchased this thinking it would likely be fairly average but... I really like it and actually use it!. I love the idea of a BB cream for the casual summer days rather than a foundation and this one has definitely lived up to it's expectations. I would however, get a slightly darker one next time. It goes on smoothly and although it's light, it evens out my skin tone. It really does feel so fresh but not like I have visible makeup on. I even put some on when I go for a run and it helps to keep me from looking like a blotchbag...and stays intact! I've yet to try other brands but can safely say, this one ticks the boxes.

I wore this all summer when I didn't want to wear foundation and I loved it so much. It doesn't provide all that much coverage but it evens out skin tone and has a little bit of coverage, which is just right for a day at the beach/pool or even going to the gym when you don't want to look like you've tried too hard. There's a very limited range of colours but I think because it's quite sheer, you could work around it.

This is my go to BB Cream. It hides most of my redness and blemishes! I don't always wear foundation because the BB cream is just enough coverage for my liking.. I will be purchasing this BB cream all the time from now on!
