Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

I have repurchased this many times over and over again! I don't usually like to put lots of makeup on for a daily basis to uni so I like products like this to keep it super natural! I find the shade matches me perfectly because it has quite a few shades with good yellow undertones

While I'm not sure about the effectiveness of just 2% salicylic acid in a beauty product, this is a great lightweight BB cream and doesn't actively make me break out. It definitely lives up to its claim of complimenting skin tone - I was given mine by a friend in the shade 'light', when usually I'd buy a darker shade - yet it never made me look washed out and doesn't feel caked on. I still need powder on top (especially in the heat), but it's a great base product for days when I want to go almost makeup free, or I use it as a base before applying heavier foundation for nights out. There's definitely a decent amount of the product for the price, although I'd repurchase again only if it was on special - it doesn't really have any features that make it a 'stand out' from other BB creams. While it does have the addition of the salicylic acid, I have tried the original Maybelline BB cream, and actually prefer the formula even though I have acne prone skin.

This isn't as good as the Maybelline Clear Smooth BB cream you can buy in Asia- this is more like a good basic tinted moisturiser. It makes my skin look pretty even and blends well with my fingers.

this is my favourite BB cream at the moment - I've been using it alot lately - applied liberally with a foundation brush... held together with translucent power - it stays put all day... and gives a nice natural look, combined with a tinted lip balm...

I purchased this BB cream about a month ago from the supermarket as I needed a quick fix for after I went swimming and wow!- I am a BB cream convert, This product matches my skin perfectly, glides on easily, is incredibly lightweight and does not sweat off on those hot days. The price is also a huge bonus for me- it is so affordable. This is something I will carry around with me all summer!

It's a really good fit, if anything it's a little dark for me but pretty close (and i'm very very pale). Works well with concealer underneath, basically I use it instead of a foundation most of the time. It's pretty light in coverage so some blemishes might show through but you can use concealer underneath to help that!

I actually quite like this, though I have to admit not using it on its own. I bought the light shade, which is (wonder of wonders) a little TOO pale for me, while the medium was laughably dark. Of course. SO, I actually mix this with my Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous, and the two together actually work really well! Good coverage, nice shade, and a very natural finish.

i brought this when it was on special at farmers when BB creams were the new in thing. i found it was ok and the spf made me feel better about using it instead of my usual foundation. it is alot thinner and doesnt do anything for uneven skin tone but a reasonable coverage for a BB cream. i found i had to use a finishing powder to minimise the shine and was only suitable for day wear. it is best applied with your fingers or a sponge as it is quite runny and i find that a brush leaves streaks instead of soaking into skin as well.
