Tips: use a sponge
the color range.... usually i opt for a medium shade since i am a bit olive tone... however the shade was too light. however it did moisturize my face, keeping it oil free and smelled amazing.
I found the colour selection of this bb cream very light. I have medium skin tone so I got the medium however I found it to be very pale and very grey toned. I find this bb cream quite drying (I have combo skin). I do not enjoy the scent of this bb cream either it reminds me of a hospital weirdly enough. It does give light coverage and feels light on the skin. I do like the fact that it does have salicylic acid In it for acne prone skin. I like the idea of this bb cream however not the end result
Tips: Go a shade darker than you normally would
I love this product. I have dry skin, and this works perfectly. I often just wear this product on its own, as it has a little bit of coverage and is so easy to blend into the skin. I recommend this product for everyone to try at least once! :)
I found this BB cream pretty average. It says it even skin tones and helps redness, but it didn't not do this for me. Its quite runny and if I was to use this every day, it would not last me 2 weeks.
This is my favourite westernized BB Cream for acne prone skin! I find the colour to be perfect for my super pale skin and it isn't too pink or orange. I feel like it helps with my breakouts and it stays put for at least 6 hours. If you have oily, acne prone skin i'd really recommend giving this a go.
Tips: I use mine as a primer under my foundation!
I have tried a few BB creams so far but none of them are as good as this one by Maybelline! its PERFECT for fair skin, it doesn't go orange at all and it has pretty good coverage too! It adds a fresh finish to my skin when I need it and its my go to in Summer!
I picked up a couple of sample sachets of these when they were first released about a year ago, and I fell in love. I have intensely oily skin, but these worked wonderfully to combat the oil, and to even out my skin tone.
I love BB Cream, and I love the fact that I can wear this everyday without having to worry about it breaking me out. It also gives off a very natural look, as the coverage isn't intense, but it's enough for me to feel confident enough to leave the house without wearing foundation - super nice for those lazy bb cream and mascara days.
Since then i've gone through about 3 tubes of the light stuff, and i'm about 2/3 through a medium one, i find that mixing in a little bit of the medium one helps for when i want to contour a little bit, plus it's good for summer when i get a teeny bit of a tan.
Tips: mixes well with moisturiser. doesn't look good with powder foundation over top (stick to liquid)
I was really put off BB creams by the Garnier one, but I figured I should try others before writing them off completely and I'm not disappointed with this one. It evens out my skin tone really well and doesn't feel heavy or like I'm even wearing product. The salicylic acid does wonders for helping keep my skin in check too!
Tips: My face gets quite greasy if I use it without moisturiser underneath.
I honestly don't like this BB cream. Its extremely thick and it feels like i have a few extra layers of skin. I feel like my face is sticking out. It really oily and you can certainly feel it on your skin. However, it did do what it said it would and that was to give me great coverage. I just don't believe that anyone needs THAT much coverage. I would not recommend this to anyone i know.
