Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

I really like this bb cream, I tried samples first and at the time I had been breaking out and found this helped clear it quicker! Some bb creams in the past had caused break outs so this was such a bonus! It has good coverage and does cover redness like it says. On days I don't want to wear full on make up I just use this with my Rimmel Wake me up concealer, a bit of blush and it makes me look a bit more put together!

I really like what an even coverage this BB cream achieves, great for everyday wear. I was using only foundations before I sampled this BB cream. The formula is just right and a little goes a long wear, it doesn't create any shine and is easily washed off at the end of the day. I found that I never suffered any breakouts while I was using this BB cream but then not sure if it was because of this or just my skincare routine/hormones at the time. Only reason I don't use it now is that I am using a NZ natural product, but I do have a tube of this in my drawer if I run out of my normal brand

Best bb cream I have tried yet! I have extremely oily skin so that is why I decided to purchase this. Out of all the bb creams I have tried this has kept me matte for the longest, probably around 2-3 hours. It has brilliant coverage for a bb cream, I don't even need concealer sometimes. I would definitely repurchase!

This was my very first BB cream that got me hooked on them, Having oily skin this is just awesome for my skin, I gives me a really nice coverage and covers up all the redness and gross bits on my face! Another selling point for me also was that it stays on all day, i found also that my skin appears smooth and flawless when weraing this. It's an overall an awesome BB cream if you have oily skin, love it

I absolutely love this! It gives such nice coverage without looking cakey. It's easy to apply and super blendable. I was lucky enough to be sent some samples by Maybelline and once I tried it I was hooked, so I went out and bought it. It's a must have for the days when you're in a rush to put your make up on. It even helps cover your redness and reduce the appearance of acne. I absolutely love this BB cream.

I got a couple of samples of this and was really excited to try it as I've been using smashbox oil free bb which is great, but a little pricier. I'd read great reviews so was expecting good things but meh. It didn't apply smoothly or evenly, despite my skin being quite clear and freshly exfoliated. It looked really patchy and didn't give any coverage. Maybe I'm just used to smashbox because it's thicker, but this just didn't do it for me. I also found that it was a little lacking in the oil control. My smashbox is spf 35 n the 15 of the maybelline just doesn't cut it for me. Having said that, it was a light consistency and it was nice and gentle. Not a bad product, but I wouldn't buy it. Really glad i sampled.

I'm a very fussy BB cream person and this is another one that has failed to impress me. The colour I got was medium to dark, so the shade was not the correct one, but despite that, I did use it and I just felt disappointed again. They keep bringing out all these BB creams which promise to cover, but at the end of the day, I just find they don't. Whether it is because I have troubled skin or just because its mainly directed at a light coverage I don't know. If you're looking for something that you could use as a base, then this would definitely do the job, but if you have problem skin like me, then I'm afraid you will be just as disappointed as I am with it. It does go on really well though, its not horrible and thick like some can be, so in that respect it is good, but thats as far as it goes unfortunately.

This was the first bb cream I tired and really Iked it! It does not provide full coverage to my uneven skin, but I didn't expect it to. I find it applies really easily and was good for my oily skin. Great as a base for my foundation or for if I'm going out exercising and don't want to have a completely naked face.

Apart from the weird smell Iove it. I find that for it to cover my uneven skin tone I need to apply a little more than normal as its a very thin liquid. Though sometimes there is that problem of applying too much where I end up looking pale and washed up. Apart from that I find its good as a base for foundation or to wear on its own.
