From what I got of the product I liked it but I found the packaging and sponge tip really hard to use and get the right amount of product needed. I think if they changed the packaging I would be open to trying it again.
I read plenty of reviews raving about it so I decided to give it a try.
Just to let you know, I tried this after using Maybelline's FitMe concealer thinking they'd be as good but I was disappointed. I like the packaging and I like that the applicator is less messy than the wands that other concealers have. Texture is light and does not leave a gunky feel. However, coverage is just so-so. I suffer from dark undereyes so I need something that does an excellent job.
Maybe it's a big yay for others, but for me it's just okay.
I've tried many concealers and yet to find a holy Grail but this one is up there and the best drugstore one I've tried. It's light and creamy and easy to blend. I don't know if I'd say it completely erasers darkness but it is nice for more mature eyes. However I don't like the applicator at all
I often catch myself reaching to this product often! It has a beautiful creamy texture which is also very blendable. The packaging and design on the product is great - it ensures all the product gets used and none is wasted. I found that it wasn't cakey at all, and definitely didn't crease under my eyes as i have found with other concealers.
With its creamy consistency, it glides on smoothly and blends out easily. I use the shade "Golden Dore" which has yellow undertones and it instantly brightens my undereye. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the applicator.
Tips: Skin prep is key, make sure you moisturise well with an eye cream or face moisturiser
I like this concealer. I especially like the applicator with it, as it does a great job smoothing the product on before using a sponge to blend. On weekends, this concealer, some mascara and lip gloss is all I need!
The concealer itself has good coverage without being too drying on my skin. It's not caky and doesn't settle into my wrinkles. It hides tired eyes nicely, and while I don't have really bad dark circles, this product definitely lightens the eye area. It lasts well through the day, and is easy to remove end of the day. For the price it does a pretty decent job.
The shades aren't quite spot on for my cool skin tone, but I just opted for a shade lighter and it worked well.
Tips: good skin prep is key so that it sits softly on the under eye area. I didn't use primer, but can see how that would also help
I purchased this from Farmers some time ago and there is still half the product left, and I use it every day. I needed a concealer for dark circles and wrinkles around my eyes so thought his looks good. The product comes in a clear tube with a pull off cap with a spongy round applicator on top. To dispense the product onto applicator you have to twist the plastic thingy under the spongy top. Sounds a bit fiddly but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. The concealer is a creamy one and you only need to do one or two clicks and apply sparingly, because of the large spongy applicator. I chose the medium shade which works well with my BB cream. It covered my dark circles and smoothed out hollows under my eyes and covered wrinkles at the corners. The product blends nicely on my skin. This is my go to concealer at the moment and is easy to use and price friendly. I would highly recommend it.
Tips: Go for the lighter shade if you have really dark circles under eyes.
This is a very affordable concealer, good value for money that you can buy at most chemists and supermarkets. It has a unique sponge tip applicator which applies the product effortlessly. It is available in 12 shades and when used completely covers dark circles. It applies effortlessly and has a very thin texture to it which does not cake or look like you have a lot of makeup under the eye. You look bright and refreshed and I love it that it doesn't crease, even if you don't use a setting powder.
Tips: Use this as a foundation, just in the spots that need a bit of coverage if you want a bright natural look.
I was excited to try this after hearing all the hype about how good it is. The packaging is nice and the tube comes with a built in sponge at the top for application. The sponge is handy but it took a bit for me to get the hang of how many "clicks" to turn the top to get the right amount of product in the sponge. The formula is quite creamy but not too emollient. I found it did a great job of covering my dark circles. I have an oily skin type and this lasted through the day for me.
Tips: This is a great concealer but what I've found it awesome for is to buy a shade similar to your foundation and pop it in your purse for no fuss easy touch ups during the day. The built in sponge makes touching up super easy and it's small enough to easily carry around.
