Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine Review

This one is absolutely a winner when it comes to the drying, I was astonished at how fast it dried. I used two coats over a base layer. I used a nude colour but would recommend that with more defined colours maybe three layers needed.

Bottle was easy to hold and brush was great, it fanned out great over my nails.

Bit disappointed at how it started to chip three days after application. For me I would take this into account but when a quick fix needed I would highly recommend, it does what it says.

**keeping in mind I still was very "easy does it" for the afternoon, IMO only shellac instantly sets like concrete**

Bottle was average size, I get over colours quite quickly for find the $11.00 price good value.

I received the white 60 second nail colour from the July Beauty Vault. It comes in a small glass bottle, which isn't a problem because I've never finished a nail polish before. The colour I got was white, it had a pearlescent shine to it when in the bottle - unfortunately this pearl tone did not show when applied to my nails, instead it is a flat white. The only shine is because it is not matte. The brush in this polish is full and makes covering your nail very easily, however the bristles are quite heavy and lead to streaking. Although the first coat I apply does dry fast, once I use a second coat it takes a lot longer.

I have been using this polish with a top coat and a base coat, but even so it chips within a day or two.

It was true! It really does dry in under 60 seconds I was amazed as I put on quite a thick coat on my first application but it did it.

Recently I purchased this bottle in a random colour from the Beauty Vault and was happy to receive white hot love, as I have been on the hunt for a good white. You know the type that doesn't make it look like you have just put white-out on your nails, or takes several coats of milky sheerness to create a fully opaque look.

Rimmel 60 second polish was great at creating a fully opaque white nail look in just 2 coats. Drying down fast so I could in under 5 minutes have a beautifully put together manicure with a hard top coat cover.

The brush applicator was a shock as it is rather wide for my narrow nail beds but found that the thickness of the polish made it rather easy to place as it clung to the brush without spilling onto and into my cuticle area which drives me crazy, as an OCD person I need my nails to be even and perfect, any smudge or overdraw sees me instantly remove and reapply but this never happen which filled me with a lot of happiness. Will highly recommend and also be looking for other shades when I can get into a larger Farmers that carry Rimmel.

This purfime is a lovely classic . It comes in a standard pretty glass perfume with daisys attached to the lid.

The fragrance is very fresh, floral and feminine. The scent is not too overpowering therefore I find this scent safe for everyday use.

I do notice that this scent does fade throughout the day however the bottle isn't too huge so it is easily able to be carried around in my handbag with me so I can reapply it throughout the day.

Overall this is a great perfume for every day use or to use on special occasions. Would definitely recommend.

I received this in the Ball Beauty Box, which has since sold out. The shade I received is Coralicious, a vibrant, warm pink that is great for summer. This polish promises to dry within 60 seconds, and to provide shine to the nails.

The polish was easy to apply. I found the flat, wide, applicator brush made it very easy and quick to apply. The polish dried quickly, as promised. The other major benefit was that this polish lasted a long time. It took much longer for it to chip off than other polishes I have used. Usually my polish is mostly worn off after one week, but this lasted more like two. The polish, when dry, was also shiny as promised.

However, I found the polish had one major drawback, and that was the opacity of the colour. It may just be this particular shade, but I found that even after three coats the colour still looked streaky and transparent in places. It's a real shame because the polish has a lot of other things going for it. I may try the polish again, but in a different shade to see if there is an improvement.

OMG - this really is fast drying!

I got this in Coral and while the colour is vibrant, it isn't really a ME colour, but I will confidently pass it on to someone it should suit more.

Application is easy with the wide brush, but I found 3 coats are best. Fortunately the quick dry promise is true and even after 3 coats, the polish is touch dry. I'm a bit scared to test too much though.

Shine is super too - I don't see a need for a top coat with this level of shine.

Gorgeous colour! And such a classic name..lose your lingerie haha light pink with a hint of sparkle.. This wee bottle is super super cute and fully dries in about 2minutes and the shine appears within 40seconds! Does lose its shine by day 2..2coats is best with this baby, no topcoat? this will last atleast 3days before chipping appears. The brush is flat and thick but I find that you have to apply quickly as it starts to get abit sticky.

I was given a bottle of this nail polish as a gift in a facebook group that I used to be apart of. I had not used this brand before and I was excited to give this a try. The only other fast drying nail polish brand I have used is Revlon.

This bottle is clear so that you can visually see this nail colour within it. The colour I was given is Coral. This shade is a bright orange colour. It's vibrant and fresh. I instantly fell in love with this colour. This brush has full bristles slightly curved tip . It performs beautifully when applying nail colour. Consistency of this polish is unusually uneven in thickness.

On first application it dries within sixty seconds leaving a streaky backdrop. Second application it left quite a streaky mess. Third layer of polish I managed to get a good even coat. This polish lasted on me for about a day and it began to chip easily.

It's affordably priced. One bottle lasted me up to six months . I wasn't happy with how long it lasted on my nails. I like it to last me at least a weeks wear.

I received this nail polish in the ball season BBBE, in the color Rapid Ruby. This color is a classic blood red, love it.

These nail polish bottles are on the smaller side (8ml), the wand is short and the brush is quite large. It applies nicely and the first coat dries in around about a minute, the second coat takes longer to dry which is pretty norm.

Wear wise this nail polish isn't very hardy, it chips easily and sometimes in large chunks. By the second day of wear it's looking pretty shabby.

Overall this is a fairly decent nail polish, if I happened to see it in a color that I really wanted i'd buy it.

So I was lucky to receive one of these nail polishes in the 'ball season' BBBE. I have never used any Rimmell nail polish so I was excited to give this a go.

The small bottle is cute, I love the smaller bottles as they take up less room and nail polish seems to last me a lifetime I think I have only ever used one whole bottle of nail polish EVER!

The colour I received is a very pale nude pink called 'lose your lingerie' it also looks quite shimmery in the bottle so I couldn't wait to put it on my nails.

The brush is nice and short making it easy to control and the brush head is flat another love of mine, unfortunately this is where the love ends. The bristles on the brush are very thick making it so hard to get a nice streak free application, I have tried this 3 different times and every time I have brush marks and a really patchy finish.

I am so disappointed as I love the colour, I have read so many fab reviews I'm thinking I have got either a dud one or I'm not doing it right.
