I have this in the light baby pink shade (the label has worn off) and while its super pigmented, I'm not a fan of the formula.
I found it didn't sit on my lips nicely, the look is so hard to describe. Everyone naturally has light creases in their lips, but the formula seemed to sink into the creases, it looked very patchy. I'm sure the lightness of the shade didn't help this at all. I'm not sure if they're all like this or if it was just the shade/product I had. I was somewhat disappointed.
I liked the colour and the packaging, but I think I'd rather stick to my MAC Amplified lipstick in St. Germain.
I got a mini Barry M Lip Paint as part of a goodiebox last year. The shade I got was 107 Pink Glitter.
Having never tried a Barry M product before, I was curious to see what all the hype on youtube was about. Unfortunately I received a shade that I would never, ever wear - pink glitter.
As the name suggests, the colour I got was packed tight of pink glitter. Personally I loathe anything glittery on my lips but I decided to give this a go in case I changed my mind.
In terms of the formula, the lipstick itself was actually pretty nice. It was semi creamy and wasn't super hard to apply to my lips. However, the glitter did make it a little patchy.
The lipstick itself was tinted pink, so your lips looked pink with pink glitter encrusted on them. While I really, really disliked how this looked and felt (I liken it to the feeling you have when you have lip exfoliant on your lips), if you like wearing glitter on your lips then this might be something you want to try.
The packaging itself was sleek and robust. Even though I got a sample, the lipstick was a decent size and it wasn't hard to apply even though the bullet of the lipstick was smaller than full sized lipsticks.
Because I really despise glitter on my lips, I gave this away and wouldn't ever buy it. However, in saying that, I would definitely purchase a non glittery Barry M lip paint to see what the non glittery shades are like.
The glittery shades would be perfect for a little girl who wants to play with makeup, or for a fancy dress party - or for anyone that likes to rock glitter every day. For me though, it was a huge fail.
