I received the shade Light in the Classic formula to review which interestingly enough would've worked for my skintone if it didn't have a pink (cool) undertone. I find this strange because I am a tan golden-olive and if it almost works for me, I'm not sure it would work for someone who is actually light. In the past, I used Medium, but that was a bit too dark so I feel like even though it is a BB cream and will adjust somewhat, they do need more shades.
I love the new formula and I'm so glad it's got a bit of SPF now. It's so smooth and quick to apply, I just use my fingers. It's comfortable, no tacky feeling on the skin. It has a medium consistency and you don't need much as it spreads well. Feels extremely lightweight on the skin, like I'm not wearing anything which is what I want in a BB cream and it definitely evened out my complexion. It lasted very well throughout the day and even though I tend to lean on my hand a lot, it still looked fine hours later.
I'm pleased that they've made the packaging more eco-friendly and that they stayed with the simple tube design. I think this is a nice affordable BB cream if one of the shades suits you. If the undertone matches you, it will probably be able to adjust depth-wise. Like I said, this shade would've worked for me if it wasn't so pink. I would test it before buying if you can.
All in 1 perfector? Hmmm, maybe not. PROS, it smells great, the coverage is light enough to wear every day and hides very slight skin 'imperfections'. And, it didn't move or melt off after a few tough workouts. I've used tinted moisturisers in the past that melt off as soon as you start sweating. CONS, it's only SPF15. My normal every day moisturiser is SPF50 so I was pretty hesitant to be out in the sun too long. It does transfer onto fabrics, so be careful around your white tees and don't be surprised if it ends up all on the inside of your facemask (if you wear one) It can be a little bit tricky to get it even on your skin, similar to foundation it can leave small fingerprint smears so you do have to pat/dab it in some areas. I managed to get it too close on my brow bone and it took forever to even out. Any dry patches of skin? Yup, it's going to get stuck and highlight that area. Not great. But...if you have perfectly smooth skin and just want something to make your skin look a bit more flawless without using foundation, then this is a perfect option.
Tips: You only need a pea sized amount for decent coverage. But just take extra care to check it's blended well.
