This set smells really gorgeous, a really obvious coconut smell that lingers, without being too overpowering. I love the way all of the bright blue bottles look together, they vary slightly in shade and shape so you can easily identify the products from each other. The formula is made from 100% cold pressed coconut oil which contains lot’s of vitamins and antioxidants, it claims to rehydrate your hair and protect your skin from drying out. The consistency of all the products are light, not too heavy or oily. I’ve used the whole set together for almost two weeks and I really enjoy the way my skin and hair has been feeling. Definitely moisturising. I really recommend this set of skin and hair care products.

Tips: Perfect for keeping your skin hydrated as we come towards the colder winter months!
I love what the Nature Box range is about - natural ingredients, vegan formulas, and body positivity. Add in coconut oil and I'm pretty much sold! I've always been a big fan of the saying that coconut oil can pretty much fix anything and this range did not let me down! I found the range to be quite 'gender neutral,' with a smell that is not stereotypically feminine or masculine and therefore my husband felt comfortable using the products as well. Loved that the bottles are made from 25% recycled plastics and the shampoo and conditioner being in a pump bottle was great! I did feel a tad let down that the body wash wasn't also in a pump bottle as I always end up using way too much in a squirt bottle. Overall, loved the products and would use again!
I was ultra excited to try this range, because I love coconut scented things and use coconut oil in a lot of my skincare and natural DIY things. I really wanted to love this whole range, but there seemed to be a big disparity between the products. In order of recommendation best to worse, I'd rank them hair treatment-> body lotion-> shower gel-> shampoo-> conditioner.
Hair treatment spray: 12/10 love it, highly recommend! This one went over and above my expectations. I saw almost instant results and definitely hydrated my hair and added a silky sheen. It works best when I concentrate it on the ends of my hair (which is driest), and I could see and feel a noticeable improvement.
Body lotion: 10/10, highly recommend this too! The scent is divine, and instantly takes me to a beach drinking pina coladas. It's hydrating, it's smooth to apply, and absorbs very quickly. I'm using it as a light handcream, perfect as we head into winter.
Shower gel: 8/10 not exactly for me but I can see why someone would love it. I'm not too into shower gel myself, preferring the traditional soap, but if you like showergels you'd like it. It leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and smells nice. Very refreshing for morning showers.
Shampoo: 6/10 ehhh ok but not amazing. Nice that it doesn't have sulfates and other nasty chemicals, but didn't notice any major differences. There's honestly better natural shampoos out there for better value. And the smell isn't as nice as the hair treatment or body lotion.
Conditioner: 6/10 failed to impress me. My expectations for the conditioner was highest but it turned out to be my least favourite. The smell wasn't like coconut and it was so faint. I noticed more moisturising results with my usual conditioner even though this had the coconut oil. Really didn't get anything amazing, apart from your usual smoothness after shower that all conditioners give. For the price I'd expect a more 'wow' conditioner.
So there we have it! Really grateful and glad that I was able to take part in this trial, because I discovered two new products that I absolutely love! Go and buy the hair treatment/serum spray and the body lotion, you won't regret it!
All five products in this range complement each other beautifully.
I recommend washing your hair first then following with the conditioner, this will allow the conditioner to work it's magic while you wash yourself with the shower gel. I also used the conditioner when I shaved my legs for a smoother finish.
Once showered I sprayed the milky moisture spray on my hair then applied the body lotion on my skin.
I felt clean and refreshed with the delicious subtle scent of coconut and my skin loved it!
I did like the pump on these bottles and you can turn these off without wasting any product. The shower gel would be better served with a pump to prevent wastage.
This range is gentle and kind to the skin while having a subtle coconut scent.
The sizes are ample and have a fair price.
They contain 100% cold pressed coconut oil and are pH neutral or dermatologically tested. There are no silicones, parabens, sulfate surfactants or artificial colourants. The bottles are made from 25% recycled plastic. This range is also vegan.
Tips: Give it a go it is a nice gentle range :-)
This range has such cool and different packaging. I had high hopes for it all and as I am a complete fan of everything coconut, couldn't wait to get my hands on it! Unfortunately I did not love it as much as I wanted to. The scent was not strong enough for me in the majority of the range, with the exception of the hair hydrating spray. It's a very funky looking range for the bathroom shelf, the striking blue with retro labels. The shampoo did the job of cleaning my scalp to roots and was a light consistency. The conditioner was quite light, much too light for my highlighted hair which requires a fair bit of hydration. The hair treatment was great, loved it and will repurchase it! My hair felt soft and hydrated afterwards. The shower gel and body lotion was my least favourite. Overall I thought the scent smelt mildrewy and although that goes away after the lotion dries into your skin, I didn't want that scent to transfer to my clothes so I only used it a couple of times.
I was so excited to be accepted for this trial. 5 full size products with such an amazing smell. I do like the fact that if is free from silicones and parabens and is made from 25% recycled plastic. Got to be good for the environment. Is priced very well and not too expensive. I did like the bright blue packaging as stands out in the shower with easy to read labels. I found that the entire range has a very soft coconut smell that is not overpowering and does linger on your skin/hair. My favourite product would be the body wash as it just made my skin feel so clean and refreshed. My least favourite would be the hair treatment, hair felt a little sticky and I don't think it made my hair feel more hydrated. Three of the bottles have pumps so makes it a little hard for travel. They do come in a convenient size for fitting in the shower. Have really enjoyed using these products but I don't think I would purchase again once I have finished these bottles.
Tips: Use the shampoo and conditioner together. If using the hair treatment, don't spray too much.
Absolutely stoked to be able to trial all 5 products. There are sooo many great things about these products that I will start with the info on the bottle -all of the products contain 100% cold pressed coconut oil. This is bound to keep your skin/hair feeling clean, fresh and hydrated -free from nasties like silicone, parabens and artificial colourants -Vegan -25% recycled plastic packing which is a bonus for the environment and deffinitely a step in the right direction.
The range comes in a blue bottle which ranges from 150ml to 385ml. I felt all items were generously sized. I especially like the fact that the 3 of the items had pumps which could be twisted to be turned on/off. This is perfect for travel and also for my gym bag. Means no mess and you can control how much of the product you need. The scent of each product is of a beautifully subtle coco-nutty with a hint of vanilla. I suffer from skin allergies and found this range great! There were no flare ups and my skin felt fresh and hydrated. The Shampoo and conditioner complimented each Other well. I got a heap of comments on how healthy my hair was and also the smell. This was after only using for 1 week. Using the shower gel was a fresh way to start the day. Once I had finished in the shower Unused the body lotion. These also complimented each Other nicely. My skin felt fresh, clean and hydrated. The only bit of constructive crisitcism I would have for Naure Box is around the milky moisture spray. I didn't think it was clearly labelled to show this was a hair treatment and thought it was a spray on body moisturiser. The front of the bottle states It is a Milky Moisture spray. It wasn't until I read the back of the label that it stated it was a hair product. I guess there wouldn't be any confusion when purchasing in the supermarket as this would be in the hair care section ie separated from the body moisturiser. This was my least favourite of the range as it didn't provide the results I was hoping for. Overall great product, great range for a great price! I will be purchasing these products once my current supply runs out.
I’m glad i got to trial this lovely coconut set, which was a perfect choice for my dryish skin. The products came in a flattened bottle shape, which was quite a good idea. It would fit nicely in the shower holder, and probably better for travel purposes, but the shape didn’t really appeal to me. I thought rounded would actually look better? Anyways.. when i opened my package, i thought to myself; the plain coloured blue bottles of the body lotion and conditioner were pretty boring, although it had nice labels on it. I guess they probably wanted to take on this simple, nature-friendly look. And this non-feminine look would be suitable for the whole family to enjoy. I think the men would enjoy using the hair wash and body wash as well.
The products in this set goes pretty well together like a set course menu. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all starts you off with a simply refreshing clean scent of fruity-floral, coconut notes, while the lotion and hair treatment finishes it off with a slightly more pampering dose of yummy, warm, vanillary-coconutty goodness, which strong creamy vanilla lovers would absolutely adore. They both smell absolutely divine. You’ll probably find yourself sniffing your hair and skin quite so often before that addictive scent disappears.
After all that shampooing and body wash, my more sensitive hands did feel a little bit stripped off it’s natural oil. My fingers felt a little tightness and dryish... However, it wasn’t too bad.... as i usually get that with some gel hand washes anyways. I might try using a sponge for gel washes in the future.
Another thing i wasn’t really fond of was the open and close pumps. I do like using pumps with locks, but found this one a little tricky, as the pump was not very smooth. However, not a major problem as i don’t really need to use the lock anyways, unless i decide to bring the products with me on a vacation.
A good thing about these products are they silione-free, artificial colourant-free, paraben-free, and also vegan friendly. However, just note that the body gel does contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
Overall, I think these products are worth a try. I probably wont make them my staple products for now.. But would surely love to try the other product lines in the Nature Box collection.
I was super lucky to try all 5 products in this range and oh how thankful I am! Where do I even begin? The scent! All products have a divine coconut/vanilla scent and is not overpowering at all, but does last! It reminds me of summer actually! I love the fact that most of the products have a pump, so you don't use too much product (I usually use way too much otherwise). Oh and cannot forget its all naturaaal baby - vegan approved! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I will be repurchasing as soon as I can find these products in store!
Tips: Check out their website for more information and to hear more about how they're helping to save the planet (and animals) oh and.....BUY EVERY SINGLE ONE! :)
Loved the fact that this range is paraben free and the packaging is made partly from recycled plastic. Has a great price point. Was not expecting to see blue packaging, not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of coconut, but I did like the flat shape, it stacks easily in the bathroom. Most products have a pump bottle which is nice.
