St. Ives Blemish fighting scrub

I love this scrub because it works really well with my skin. I feel like it really cleans my pores and it makes my skin feel smooth. I like that it has the beads in it, they are what make it work so well, but they can be a bit harsh if you have sensitive skin. It removes dead skin too and since I started using it, I haven't had any breakouts at all. This product is definitely the best I've used.

Iv quite enjoyed using the st. ives apricot scrubs over the years. I dont think Il use them again though. Recently I learnt that harsh granulated scrubs such as this could do more damage then good by making tiny abrasions on the skin and spreading bacteria. I also never noticed much difference when it came to breakouts when using this so it doesnt realy do what it says. Iv since started using an exfoliater with tiny granules that dont feel so harsh on my skin. I believe this still a good range though.

It does what it should, and it's great value for it's price. Though they tell you to use it two or three times a week, I wouldn't use it more than once a week - it's quite rough with it's apricot particles. It doesn't feel too dry after use on my sensitive skin.

For a product at the lower end of the price bracket, this scrub is a great basic to have in your bathroom. I wouldn't use it more than once a week as it's fairly rough, but it does leave your skin feeling lovely and soft and doesn't leave it feeling tight or dry like some other scrubs.

I personally feel like this is the one and only thing that can actually remove the dirt from my pores, and leave my skin feeling so amazing and smooth. I went three weeks without when I was overseas, and felt like I was dying because I couldn't use my scrub!

I'm a real sucker for exfoliation and I find that this is gentle enough for every second day use but enough to legitimately get into those pores and blackheads and remove all that gunk. I could even see it working on my chin pimples (thanks hormones!) straight away.

The scent is also alright as it doesn't smell harsh or nasty.

I find this to be a great affordable scrub. It is a very harsh scrub though, so for those of you who don't like that I wouldn't recommend it (but I prefer coarse scrubs). I like to use it 1-2 times a week and it makes my skin so soft, helps reduce breakouts and leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed. Absolutely love it.

I do have the odd breakout, and I honestly can't say whether this scrub helps clear them up at all - I don't see much of a difference there. I can say, however, that it leaves my skin so smooth and feeling really, really clean. It does feel quite abrasive so I only massage it into my skin very gently, and I wouldn't recommend using it every day, but I love it for a deep clean once a week. I started using this particular scrub years ago and haven't tried another one since. It's never left me disappointed.

It is my favorite supermarket shower product. It's thick creamy formula is perfect for scrubbing your face for a deep clean. Since using this product i have noticed it has improved my skin, i find if i use this daily i simply don't get blackheads, and it keeps my pours nice and tight. With out drying out your skin.

I love how the exfoliating beads are almost "sand like" meaning the formula is very even . Leaves my skin feeling clean, smoother, and it doesn't make my T-Zone red like alot of other exfoliating products.

The one thing i loved about this is my skin didnt come out in a rash like a lot of other similar products, but it was average, i didnt get amazing results but it was lovely to use. i love how refreshed and smooth my skin felt after using the scrub :)

I'm sure it's well know that St. Ives scrubs are a favourite for those who love rough and almost, some would say, harsh scrub products. This definitely fits that bill. I do like rough scrubs for my body and often for my face but I felt this didn't leave my face feeling smooth after using it, maybe even a little tight, but my body felt much smoother. I would use this more as a body scrub as it's a wee bit rough for my face considering my spots and bumps. Overall, it is a good effective product, not suitable for me but I can see how it is a favourite.
