Softer, less wrinkles and fine lines

I have been using this set for over 5weeks now, and I have totally seen the difference in my skin. My skins left feeling smoother, hydrated and more noticeably more brighter and even color tone. Absolutely love and recommend the set as a skin care routine.

Nighttime Routine

I picked this up in my grocery shop a couple of months ago now . I enjoy using a night cream as part of my daily routine. My skin is ageing and I have uneven skin tone . I was looking for something hydrating and soothing at the same time .

This comes in a 50 ml jar . Solid white glass jar . Nothing special going on with the labelling . Consistency is moderate to thick creamy has a strong musky scent to it . I like how it doesn’t have an oily residue left behind . It’s great for my skin. I like to apply this to my skin after having had a shower. It soaks into my skin nicely. I use it sparringly . I’ve managed to get a good two months out of it. I’m finally hitting the bottom of my jar. I’ll be looking for a new night cream soon.

After using this my skin felt hydrated . I didn’t notice any firming on my lines on my forehead and under my eyes. I didn’t expect a miracle though. I did enjoy using it every night. Would I buy it again. Probably not because my skin changes as the years go by.

Moderate

I was lucky enough to get this night cream in the vault with a matching eye cream. I love L'Oreal products and night creams so that was lucky for me.

The cream comes in a classy, easy-to-use, screw top pot. I know they're not everyone's bag, but I like pots because I don't need a scientist to tell me how to open them the first time!

The product is moderately thick, white, and as I've commented on the eye cream, exactly the same colour, texture, and scent as Ponds cream. That's not an insult. I love Ponds creams and used them for years when I was young - for removing stage make-up to moisturising, and I always had great skin, so that's a great compliment to this product. After using some fabulous creams recently though, I know there are others with a texture and scent that I like more for my mature skin. However, this product does hydrate my skin and it does look and feel quite smooth. If I was younger it would suit me more than the heavier creams, but nowadays the heavy creams are more my bag. That's not a reflection of the product, but more about the age of my skin. I do find myself being very heavy handed with it and will be lucky to have gotten three weeks out of it once it's finished.

I note other people both here and under the eye cream, have commented that the scent is heavy, but I can't say I found it so. It's quite pleasant, and for me, carries that nice memory of using Ponds in my youth.

I wouldn't purchase this product again, although I do think it is a good product, but certainly recommend it to younger women.

L'Oreal Revitalift Night Cream

I love the stackable containers which took up no room at all on my dresser and that's a great bonus.

I enjoyed the texture of the night cream and like the heavier yet non greasy consistency of the cream. I found applying it after my evening shower did tend to trap the moisture in my skin and I really felt it was more hydrated.

I love the slight difference in colour between the day and night cream because at my age it's another visual reminder of which cream I should be using when, so too was the colour on the potties indicating which was which.

I didn't notice any visible difference in my fine lines, but hope it stopped a few more!!

What I didn't particularly like was the fragrance, it was a little too strong for me and I could smell it for ages afterward. Although not unpleasant I found it a bit overbearing for my tastes.

I will continue to use it in conjunction with the day cream and the cream and see if changes in the firm Ess and elasticity of my skin improve with more time

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Night Cream

I was so excited about trying this cream, also a little hesitant as I have been using an all natural cream for years so wasn't sure how my skin would react!

I didnt need to worry! My skin didnt feel greasy despite the very thick cream. I didnt like the scent, I thought it was very strong and my kids said it smelt like sunscreen!

Unfortunately I didn't see any difference in my skin, so I dont think I would buy again, especially since I consider it quite expensive.

Loreal Revitalift Night - delivers on promise

I like slightly heavier night creams and this worked a treat - easily absorbed and nice, light fragrance. I noticed a distinct change in my skin in the morning with looking less 'creased'. I did use this product in conjunction with the Loreal Revitalift eye cream which may have also helped the overall result.

Skeptic to Convert

I have always been pretty skeptical about night creams. I’m from the school of thought that you wash everything off your face before bed so that it can recover from a day of trauma (you know, make-up, pollution, people who spit when they talk) while you sleep. To me, night creams just seemed like a money-making scheme so I wasn’t expecting much from the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Night Cream. Well, it’s been about 4 weeks now and I can honestly say I can’t go to bed without it! While I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my wrinkles my skin is feeling much healthier. I love waking up with a well-hydrated, soft face. The cream is thick but it doesn't make my skin extra oily which is a big plus in my book. It also has a mild scent which is a bonus. The cream comes in a classy looking jar, and because you don’t need to use much it is quite economical. However, as I’m new to this night cream business it is hard to say whether the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Night Cream is better or worse than others in the market, all I know is I like it. So I guess it’s official! I am a night cream convert.

LOrreal Paris Revitalift Night Cream

I was super excited when I was picked for this review - been using good old faithful products that I reviewed a few years ago and thought this would give me the option to find something new - This regime consisted of: L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Day Cream SPF 15 LOréal Paris Revitalift Night Cream & LOréal Paris Revitalift Eye Cream. Great looking set of these products arrived in nice looking boxes. The day cream has a nice peach colour to it and not to heavy for day wear. The night cream consist of a rich white cream that spreads easily over the face, and I used eye cream sparingly because it is quite thick compared to other eye creams I have used in the past. No overwhelming fragrance that suited me just fine. I did not have to use much of any of these creams as it spread easily onto the face and neck.

I have been using the product close on 3 weeks and still it I have only used a little bit - think these will last for quite a long time and I think it will be good value for the price. Its is pretty affordable as long as you don't go out and buy them all at once. The pretty simple and I liked the presentation - unfortunately again packaging goes to waste (outer packaging) - the white containers easily fit on my dresser. I think that using the products for longer will help to reach its full potential, I don't think it can be reached in only a few weeks - its not a miracle cream that have made my wrinkles magically disappear unfortunately but I'm still holding out for a miracle :)

Lift Me Up Nightly

Loved the product and enjoyed opening the packaging which looked expensive due to the heavy glass jar. Positive: My skin felt moist and comfortable after applying (not immediately). I woke up in the morning without excess grease residue. No breakouts which does tend to happen when I use antiageing night creams. Negatives: I did not like the texture too thick and tacky. It did absorb quite quickly but felt sticky being applied. The fragrance was not good either with the scent reminding me of cheap air freshener. Fiddly square lid which was awkward to close. Would I use again? Yes if I see results So far my skin feels comfortable and is clear but I will need a few more weeks to see visible results.

A real treat

The Revitalift nightcream comes in the standard L’Oréal square glass jar (or pottle as I call them). The box is recyclable and contains all the info you need on the back. It has a blue strip on the box which highlights that it is the nightcream, which I really liked – it was much easier to see at a glance which product I was choosing.

The cream is heavier than the daycream, with an ok scent. My skin always feels a bit tight after cleansing so I was really pleased to find it absorbed beautifully and left my skin feeling super soft. Because it’s a pottle I was careful about cleanliness, but it does make it easier to get every last little bit out of the jar.

As for results, I did find my skin over the 4 or 5 weeks became softer and more nourished – perhaps even felt plumper. I only really have lines around my eyes so it’s hard to say whether what results the nightcream had on wrinkles, but with feeling so nourished I imagine it would have really positive results.

Tips: Store in the fridge over summer for a more cooling effect
