Love the palettes available in this range. I picked up the impressionist shade, and love the variety in the palette. The packaging is standard plastic, but sturdy. There were two applicators, which promptly fell out and I didn't bother to pack them back in, opting to use my own brushes and fingers to apply. I love how velvety smooth the shadow is, and how easy it is to apply the shadow following the product layout. I found the application to go on quite pigmented, but it lacked staying power. I've even tried with a different primer but still didn't get a full work day of wear. I find the sparkle in this palette to be light (could be the shade I choose) and not very noticeable. I prefer to use the sparkle shades as highlight in my inner corner of my eyes. I love the grey in the palette though, a great neutral to add to my work day look.

I purchased 1 of these in 520 aquarelle, its a very pretty light purple eyeshadow palette that's very glittery and goes on easy. the colours are stunning, blend nicely, and give a vibrant look that really brings out my hazel eyes, and it stays on. I also think the sparkly top coat ties all the colours together nicely and the instructions are great for beginners- overall I really liked this product and will continue to use :)
As an eyeshadow novice, eyeshadow kits with four or more colours confound me. The Revlon photoready kit, on the other hand was simple to use and contained everything I needed to make my eyes stand out (especially as I am pretty sparse on eye makeup). The Renaissance (515) kit includes a dusky pink, royal purple and forest green, colours that I would normally consider quite adventurous but work very well with my blue eyes. I would definitely buy this again!
I used my friends one of these and then ended up using it so much I had to buy my own as it is such a great palette!
I have the Metropolitan colour. It contains shades of browns, a metallic warm grey, pinky beiges and grey glitter. I love this product for evening makeup it has just the right amount of shimmer and glitter. The primer colours are nice nudes and the I use the top beige on my browbone. I then use the dark grey and brown on the lid and then work a small amount of the gold into the corner of my eye. The colours blend really well and are a nice smokey brown with a bit of shimmer. I have also found that I can use it without the gold during the day to create quite a natural bright eye.
Another good palette is the Impressionist one!
I would definitely recommend as a great product for wearing in the day then glamming up at night with glitter!
Tips: Put your foundation on last.. the glitter gets everywhere and all under your eyes! Also use your own blush for blending.
I got this product in shade 520, Watercolor. It has darker purple-y blue colours and a nice pink sparkle top coat. I was quite disappointed in this product because unlike other Revlon eye shadows that I have tried, the color pay off is pretty terrible. It might just be my lack of skill but I find that the colors don't blend very well together and the nice pink topcoat is too far from the base colours to match at all. The two applicators that came with it are hard and fragile, even after only a few uses. The primer is quite good, all though there is a lot of colour to begin with. Another thing I noticed is that all of the colours have a glitter shimmer in them. This is cool, but whats the point in advertising it as having a glitter shimmer top coat when there is already glitter in the other colours and the primer too? Over all, I probably wouldn't purchase this product again, I think ill stick to the Diamond Lust collection!
Tips: Use your own brush to apply
This eyeshadow is excellent as it provides 4 colours in one. I use it during the day by only using the lighter shades, and then glam it up with the dark/sparkle for nightime. The colours blend well and the application guide is very helpful. Only one negative- I would not refer to the 'primer' as a primer. It is just a light eyeshadow, not an eye primer.
I have two or three of these, and I really like them! I find the eyeshadow-for-dummies application guide quite helpful, and like that there is everything you need for one look all in the one palette. These are reasonably long-wearing and not clumpy, which is great.
I have two of these and I love them. I especially like the fact that they have eyeshadow application for dummies on the back as if find this really helps as I have only just begun wearing eyeshadow on a daily basis. The colours are nice, very pigmented and last all day. I don't use the glittery one much for during the day. They are a really good price, especially since farmers often have a deal on. A great buy
Tips: Get from farmers with your rewards card.
If you are fair skinned with hazel/brown eyes then this palette is absolutely amazing!
I think this product is genius because it incorporates 3 key products of completing an eye look.. The primer, the eye shadow and the sparkle!
The compact itself is fantastic, its simple but showcases the colors well. Each individual product inside the palette is a decent size and perfect for your brush. Its great because the way the compact is set out pretty much shows you where to use each color on your eye.
These are very pigmented and true to color, they are long wearing and if you choose the right shades will be extremely complimentary to your coloring.
Tips: Ask at your Revlon counter what coloring would compliment you best so you can get the best result out of this wonderful product!
I got it as a gift and was a bit unsure however I really liked it! The colours are soooo creamy and also really pigmented. I also like the concept, the primer actually works real well and the sparkle top coat is so pretty! Love love love!
