Over two years ago... I developed a very very VERY bad case of eczema on my face.... it was terrible! I looked hideous with patches of red on my face and nothing seemed to work! I was recommended this by a dermatologist (which cost me $90) and after a week, the redness went away... <3 this product and the price tag makes it even better!

I don't like cleansers that foam up anymore and this is just perfect. The milky textures is really nice to massage into the face. and just helps you enjoy washing your face. I've since learn about the acid mantle on your face and that a lot of cleansers strip you of that protective layer, this doesn't do that because it is pH balanced. It's also quite good at getting your makeup off, except waterproof mascara.
Tips: Wash off with a facecloth rather than straight water, it leaves your skin feeling dewy instead of stripped.
Cetaphil is such a great gentle cleanser, I've been using it for over 15 years and it's always been my go-to when my skin is a bit dry and needs some extra love. It never leaves your skin feeling tight and over-washed, it just feels soft and clean. I generally use it as my morning cleanser as it's perfect for preparing your skin before make-up application.
Tips: It's not so effective for removing mascara and eyeliner so I'd recommended using a separate make-up remover first if required.
This is by far one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I use this all the time and I have sensitive, dry skin and this works great. It leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth and it doesn't irritate my skin. It's fragrance and soap free, so it doesn't have any really bad things in it and it still manages to do a great job at cleaning your face and you can use it as often as you want!
When my skin has been really sensitive and eczema AND pimple prone, which is a tricky combo, Cetaphil has been great at being gentle but effective. I still use it to remove makeup before using a Proactiv cleanser.
Tips: This makes a great makeup remover
I've been using this product for a couple of years now and I'll most probably continue using it in future. It's as gentle as water, and never leaves skin feeling tight and dry. You can use it as many times during the day as you want, there's really no such thing as overusing Cetaphil. The slight downside is that it's not the most effective makeup remover (especially waterproof mascara), but being as gentle as it, that's almost to be expected. It is much better than water though, and so for ladies (and men?!) with really sensitive skin I would recommend this without hesitation.
I tried Cetaphil after recommendations from friends and I'm so glad I did! It's multi-use - works really well as a make-up remover, sometimes I add a bit of baking soda to it to make a face scrub, or just straight up washing my face.
It leaves my skin feeling amazingly soft after using it, too.
I actually prefer scented things.. but all can be forgiven :)
Cetaphil is one of those cleansers which you always read about models and make up artists recommending. So naturally I had to give it a go (mainly due to the makeup artists loving it, models are often blessed with great skin anyway so I take what they say with a grain of soap).
This 'giving it a go' became a regular thing for about two/three years as Cetaphil is good. There's no discernible smell, it didn't make me break out, it also didn't make me stop breaking out. It removed makeup easily and cleaned my skin without leaving it feeling squeaky and tight.
I would have continued using it forever but the passage of time marches on and my skin needs changed and required something with heavy duty glycolic action to deal to pesky pigmentation, wrinkles etc.
Tips: Apparently it can be used as a body wash too ... and is great to take camping due to this multipurposeness. (Who knew!?)
I received a couple of samples of this from the chemist, as I went In and asked what was good for dry, sensitive skin.
The cleanser had a milky consistency and felt nice cleansing my skin, it didn't feel tight and uncomfortable after using this & It also didn't irritate my sensitive skin
I found this to be a great cleanser. I went and purchased a big container of this as I thought it was a perfect product for my skin.
