I love elf products generally - they are super cheap, cruelty free and work really well. I have this facial whip in two colours and they are both really nice (lilac petal and spotlight). They are difficult to get used to using - have to use really sparingly and in exactly the right place to look nice. They are dupes for products like High Beam by benefit etc. Would definitely use them again due to how ridiculously cheap they are online (i think i paid about $3 from iHerb.com).

Tips: apply sparingly and blend well
When I first purchased this product, I bought the white pearl one. I used it as a highlighter for the top of my cheekbones but I hated it! I found it really hard to blend in even when I only used a tiny amount of product. So after that I decided to get rid of it and I wrote a review on here saying how much I disliked it!
Anyway, I noticed that other peoples reviews had them saying that they had mixed it in with their foundation to give it a dewy look. I thought this sounded like a good idea and because it is so cheap I thought, why not give it another go.
So this time I bought the peach one. I mix a small amount into my foundation before applying and then put on my face as normal. It makes my skin look all glowy and healthy. I actually really like it for this purpose. Never again would I use it for a 'pop' of shimmer as it suggests but I would definitely recommend putting into your foundation for a luminous glow.
Tips: Use sparingly, remember you don't want to out glow the sun!!
I brought these in three colours, Pink Lemonade, Persimmon and Golden Peach after reading great things on Pinterest about it. I must say I was disappointed with the whip, I found it rather thick n tacky and hard to spread. The colours are lovely so maybe I just need alittle more practice at apply it. Brought mine online - cant remember exactly where. I also see iHerb and Kmart stock it.
Tips: Very thick, alittle goes along way.
I'm obsessed with highlighting so I grabbed all three of these! I've been using golden peach and haven't tried the other two, so golden peach is what I am reviewing.
These come in little squeezey tubes so they are slightly difficult to get out. What I mean is that it's a little hard to not get too much - you definitely don't want to be squeezing these too hard or you will end up looking like you were painted in them haha :p
I applied this to where I usually do - my cheekbones, temple, forehead and cuspids bow. What I found was that the formula was a teeny bit thick so had to be worked into your skin. I used both a brush and my fingers and found that using my fingers gave a better more natural result.
This colour looked really natural and pretty on my skin. I have yellow undertones so this worked really well for me.
As you only need a small amount, this is going to last me ages and it's one of those items I will take with me when I travel because if it gets lost or broken it doesn't matter so much as it was so cheap.
I found the pigmentation slightly intense so I'd suggest only using a small amount first and then building it up to how shimmery you like to be :)
I also used this over the top of lipstick to give my lips a nice shimmer and it worked really well for that too (I was actually asked what lipstick I was wearing because my friend loved how it looked). I love products that have more than one use!
Lastly, you could get away with blending a little of this with your foundation or bb cream, to give a luminous glow. I did this as well and really loved how fresh it made my skin look. Just be careful to use only a small amount.
Overall this was a steal for the price. It's not as creamy or easy to use as my Watts Up from Benefit, but then it is less than 3/4 of the price too...
I totally recommend this to anyone. ELF really seems to prove you don't need to spend a lot of $$ on products to get decent results, and this is no exception.
Tips: Start off with a really small amount and use your fingers to blend it in for a really natural glow to your skin.
On discovering the newly re-stocked Kmart at St Lukes had been totally rampaged again by ELF loving fans.. I wasn't spoiled for choice.. Myself however being the obsessive queen of illuminating products I got extremely excited and picked up this baby! Ridiculously cheap and looking pretty glowy I rushed home and ripped into this. As with all illuminating serums or creams I squirted a generous amount of this into my CC/BB concoction I was about to use on my hand and blended it all together with my beauty blender.. I then applied like I usually would. I was very impressed with the results.. A beautiful non glittery pretty glow that lasted the day! I usually use expensive illuminating serums blended in with my Foundation/CC/BB mix but this more then acceptably does the trick and it wont break the bank!!
Tips: Squirt your selected Foundation/CC or BB concoction you are using onto the back of your hand then add a generous squirt of this product then mix through.. This will give you the most gorgeous glowy look!
I purchased the shade "lilac petal" off iHerb because it was super cheap and I needed a new highlighter.
This product works well for me as a highlighter even on my super fair skin tone. I provides a soft glow where applied. It is thick in consistency and is easily applied, however try not to blend to much of the effect will completely disappear. This does come in a very small tube but I use it almost daily on my cheekbones and it is lasting very well. I will definitely be repurchasing this in the future and would like to give the other shades a go.
I have only recently discovered E.L.F as they have finally put in into Kmart in Hastings. I purchased this as I liked the price and liked the small tube to try it out. I used it as a highlighter along my cheek bones and have also used it on my lips with a clear gloss over top which looked great. I LOVE the smell of this and just about wanted to eat it! I would definitely buy it again and will try mixing it with my foundation or tinted moisturiser like some other beauty reviewers have and see what the result is.
Tips: Great price for a great product!
You rarely fail me elf, this time is no exception. $3 for this product and it's lovely. Suuuper pretty colour. Smells delicious and all round is a great product. I haven't actually tried it as anything other than a cheek bone highlight, so will definitely give it a try in other ways!
This small lovely tube used to be my favourite. It is really easy to use and create great shimmering effects. I used it for highlighting (my skin was more tanned at that time) as well and it worked just fine. I find it works better with a brush but my friend just uses her hand. It does not stay very long on my skin (prob. mine is oily/combination).
Tips: A brush can bring better effects
As soon as I purchased one of these I read a terrible review of them so didn't have high hopes for it. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it and think it is amazing for the price. I purchased the shade pink lemonade (which I think is the shade pictured above) as I thought it would be best for my cool toned skin (with pink undertones). It gives a lovely shimmer/glow wherever it is applied and is pretty versatile. I have used it as a cheekbone and brow bone highlight and found that when used sparingly it does not look extremely unnatural. It will last a fair while since so little product is used at a time too! Will definitely repurchase this and recommend it. For the price, you can't go wrong really.
Tips: Grab it practically free off iherb or beauty joint and use sparingly (as with all highlight type products, no one wants to rock the disco ball look).
