This felt like I was putting Vaseline on my face and it had a very artificial smell. I read the ingredients; Petroleum 56.8%, Lanolin, Mineral Oil, Fragrance, Salicylic Acid, Propyparaben, Castor Oil, Corn Oil, Tocopherol, BHT, Iron Oxides. Petroleum is a by product of oil drilling and no one should ever put this rubbish on their face (or their babies bottoms)

Tips: Dr oz talked about the Top three dangers in your beauty products.. Including petroleum jelly (Vaseline) http://dailyhealthweb.blogspot.co.nz/2010/02/dr-oz-top-three-dangers-in-your-beauty.html
My mum introduced this to me as a child, and other similar products have come and gone, but Eight Hour Cream from Elizabeth Arden has always stood the test of time and should be a staple in any one's make up kit, hand bag, first aid kit, kids room etc etc!
Particularly great for chapped lips, I am loving the fragrance free version.
Fantastic product - recommend to everyone.
Tips: After applying i use the leftover product to rub into cuticles, fingers, hands.
I love this product and i've only recently become a convert. I wondered what all the raving about how great it was in the magazines was about until I tried it on my hideously dry and cracked heels . Overnight (hence I guess the 8 hour bit) they were transformed! I think this product is an awesome spot treatment product for lips, hands, feet but not an overall face moisturiser as such.
Tips: Lather it on your feet before you go to bed and put a pair of socks on...honestly you'll have soft spa perfect feet in the morning.
I have owned a tube of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream for as many years as I can remember. It's a go to staple that's as much a part of our first aid kit as a beauty supply. One of it's most regular uses in our household is as a foot balm ... for dry heals, callouses and general softening.
Tips: If you've spoilt yourself with a pedicure - top it off by gently massing Eight Hour Cream into your feet before you go to bed and your feet will look and feel even better the next day - it sort of extends that just pedicured look a bit longer!
I first used this product when it was first launched. I found the new product not as thick as the last one.
I found this no good anymore on my dry lips as I did the last time I used it.
Was great however on dry hands as a mask at night. I did notice a difference after only a few days.
Have very much enjoyed using the EA Eight Hour Cream.. I have used it every night on my hands and nails and found it very moisturising and a great treatment - my hands tend to be dry often.. Also as a lip balm - great for all through the day and again at night... If my skin has felt dry after work I have rubbed a little into my cheeks just to make my skin feel comfortable... A real treatment cream.
Tips: rub a small amount into your hands and nails at night... put some cotton gloves on and wake up to super moist soft hands....
Have been using this product since I was 15. Always have a few tubes on the go.. 1 in the handbag, 1 in the gym bag and 1 on the dresser! They last forever and it can be used for so many things!
Tips: Keep in the fridge to apply chilled to burns or rashes. Can be used on babies, good for cradle cap or nappy rash. Fabulous on cracked heels and can be used as a mask for dry skin!
When I first tried this cream I didnt really think it was a product l would use. But then started using it as suggested and I discovered how good it is, I have some skin damage due to overexposure to the sun over the years and have a few dry patches on my skin. I started rubbing the cream onto these 'patches' and in the last week I have noticed a marked improvement. Also good when out in the garden and I get the odd scratch from roses etc...Final conclusion 8hr cream would be great to have in your handbag to use whenever it is required....it is a great product
Was fantastic on my sons sunburn . Within two days the burn had gone and no peeling .Great for dry cracked feet too. I used it last thing at night. The lips idea worked a treat!
Tips: Put it on last thing at night.
This is one of my fav products in the world. It is just so versatile. I use it on my cuticles, as a hand moisturiser and as my lip balm and it has always been great when I've had a random little dry patch. Hand bag essential!
Tips: Use it to style eyebrows and keep them in place.
