Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick

I loooove my Lime Crime Centrifuschia lippy! It smells amazing (reminds me of marshmallows), I can apply it smoothly and it does not need lip liner, and it lasts all day! Seriously, I can get through 6 hours without a touch up. And it doesn't dry my lips out! Love it :)

Beautiful packaging. Really attractive. Loved the consistency very creamy not quite like the colour I saw online. ( I got Babette ) smells amazing but not something I could wear everywhere so I'm not sure if it's worth the expense but I am glad I've tried it and have it for my collection. I also tried one of their velvetines which I love.

Try before you buy.

I only own one Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick and it is Poisonberry - I absolutely love it! Such a beautiful colour and it has really good staying power. It smells delicious and it looks devine when applied. I really rate this lippy

These lipsticks are super super creamy, and opaque! I have Babette and Countessa Flouresenta (iffy spelling) and they are amazing! And you can easily blend them with other lip colours to make new colours! They last for ages!

Very good range of lipsticks. They are very pigmented and lasts all day. My collection is slowly growing (:

i absolutely LOVE lime crime lipsticks, i have collected all the normal wearable colors and i wear them daily ! so pigmented, smooth & moisturizing with a nice vanilla scent! the only downside is that the lipstick breaks out of the tube which sucks because its such pretty packaging!

This is my favourite lip stick! After using this for the first time I immediately went out and brought more shades. They are so smooth and feel way better then any other lip sticks I have tried.

LOVE the colour range of these lippies, theres a colour for everyone, even the outrageous! they are super pigmented and go on so smoothly and feel amazing on, i do find they dont last very long if im eating or drinking but otherwise i love them!

I have to admit I was very disappointed when my Lime Crime lipsticks arrived. I had heard people raving about them and was so excited to try! However when they got here they just weren't what I was expecting. This is only because the colour did not come out looking anything like it did in the pictures, I felt like they were misrepresented and the colours differed quite considerably from the colours that I saw advertised. However, in saying that they smell lovely and go on very smooth and are nice and creamy on the lips, despite the colours not turning out how I thought they would some are still nice colours that I would still wear, others not so much.

I've always loved red lipstick, but I have a problem. I'm a natural redhead.

What this means is that I've had a life long quest for a red lipstick that doesn't look awful on me. I can look at a shade I think will be ok, and as soon as I put it on it looks orange or pink and just plain terrible!

I bought this on a whim online when I ordered my lime crime velvetine (which was also a blind buy due to the fantastic reviews on br I couldn't help myself), and on the website I fell in love with the colour Glamour 101.

When it arrived, I felt like I'd just received a present! Not only was it in gift wrapped style packaging from the retailer, but the box it came in was so pretty! Upon opening the box, I pulled out what resembled the most attractive tampon ever.. :-/ I stood there for a while staring and giggling at the oversight of the designers, and then proceeded to apply it. Omg! My quest has finally come to an end!! What I was holding was the holy grail of red lipsticks!!!!!!

Not only was it the colour I've been searching for, but the texture, shine, feel.. just everything was perfect!!!!

Now back to the shape of the lipstick.. its not just me, I showed him the lipstick and he started laughing and said the same thing. Its in the shape of a tampon. A very lovely pink tampon with a silver unicorn on it..but none the less - a tampon.

I shall forgive this oversight, because everything else about it is so perfect.

Unfortunately, it was so good, it overshadowed my principal purchase the velveteen - which while I like, I may have even loved if it wasn't for the opaque being everything and more.

The colour is a very vintage burgundy red, whenever I wear it, it makes me feel very vintage bombshell.. in fact I tend to dress to my lippy when I'm wearing it.. in fact its the shade I'm wearing in my profile picture!
