This makeup remove is actually the best! It removes eye make up quickly. It even works on waterproof mascara. It does leave behind a residue but I just wash my face after using it.

this eye make up remover works a charm! i esp love how its oil free because my skin is prone to oil. however, i was suprised when i first used it as it seems so oily on your skin. but in saying that i love it. it removes all of my mascara, (even the waterproof ones) easily and i find that i dont have to rub it really hard over my eyes. its a quick and easy process that works great! i would recomend it to anyone.
Tips: i prefer using cotton make up pads as the liquid soaks into it and i dont have to keep tipping more product onto it to get the makeup off
I have sensitive/comb oily skin and this makeup remover is awesome! Not only does it leave your skin feeling nice after removing product as previous makeup removers just make my face feel stiff and sometimes sore especially when you're constantly trying to get it off *ouch! I wear heavy black kohl pencil & eyeshadow makeup and this remover does the trick every time :) Just a fabulous remover - leaves my skin feeling moisturised too, such a bonus :)
Tips: Don't worry if you get this in your eye, as I do all the time trying to scrape out all the black eye makeup, lets face it my fellow BRbeauties you cannot go to bed with makeup on and expect NOT to wakeup looking like Kungfu panda Po..dreams are for free lol. Does not sting if you get it into your eyes..removes every single bit of makeup, wonderful :)
I wear a lot of eye make up and mascara, and I find this product removes it easily.
I use a cotton pad alongside this product and don't really have to use much to thoroughly remove my eye make up. I will tip the bottle upside down, slightly moisten the pad and wipe gently until all traces of eye make up are removed. You don't need to rub hard at all
I find this doesn't dry up my under eye area either.
Definitely recommend this product to everyone!
I often get quite red undereyes after an entire day of wearing make-up and this product takes EVERYTHING off perfectly and leaves my eyes feeling refreshed. Waterproof mascara doesn't even stand a chance
I have short, straight lashes, and using a waterproof mascara is the only way they will hold a curl from my eyelash curlers. An effective eye makeup remover is a must! The most effective ones I've tried have all had a bi-phase formula -- the "oily" part floating on top of the watery. You shake the bottle to mix the two up and use a cotton pad to remove.
The formula of Neutrogena's remover is really effective, although I find it leaves an oily residue -- much more so than its Clarins or Lancome counterparts. Not ideal if you plan on keeping your contacts in afterwards! However, at $15 for 112mls (Clarins is $46 for 125ml; Lancome is $66 for 125ml), that's a minor quibble.
The bottle design is simple and no-nonsense; my one complaint is that the opening is quite wide. It really needs a smaller opening to avoid wastage.
I also don't like that this contains benzalkonium chloride. They've obviously used it at a low enough concentration for it to not be toxic to humans, but it is toxic to marine life. I've started using plain oils to remove eye makeup, but will keep this around as a back up.
Tips: Leave the cotton pad on your eye for around ten seconds to let the remover dissolve your eye makeup more effectively. This avoids rubbing and tugging at the skin.
This is sometimes on sale in the supermarket for around $10.
Does a fantastic job at removing makeup. Leaves your eyes looking completely naked. The only thing is that it leaves a greasy layer on your skin however I just use a cotton pad and a bit of warm water to wipe it off after. I have had this for ages and still have lots left as you only need a small amount. Will definitely re purchase.
Tips: Wipe off residue with warm water and a cotton pad.
Hmmm is it just me?? Positives: I love the bottle & packaging ... but ... Negatives: I find the solution quite oily. How? it’s 100% oil-free?? It takes quite a bit of work to wipe off my eye makeup. And I don’t think it’s the quantity or type of makeup I use… I’ll be looking for a new one to try out.
I loved this product!! Got my tough mascara off so easily. Only thing is it was a little oily afterwards. It was quite cool how it had the two parts that you had to shake together to mix, I'd highly recommend it.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Make-Up Remover is FANTASTIC for removing my waterproof make-up.
I swear by this stuff, it takes off everything without being harsh on my skin, its wonderful.
I wear a heck of a lot of extremely water resistant, won't budge, hurricane proof mascara and eyeliner for work and if I take a tissue, add a bit of the stuff to it, it swipes my eyefull of make-up off in second. Like magic.
The only negative part is that it does leave a slight oil-like residue on your skin, I suppose thats just a moisturising component but I'm super particular about oil on my face, it comes off with quick wash. Funny, because the formula is oil-free, so I'm pretty sure its nothing nasty.
Wonderful product, an essential in my bathroom.
Tips: Wash face afterwards if you dislike residue.
