I have tried many antiperspirant deodorants over the last few years in an effort to combat my "nervous sweating". I hate roll-on deodorants, as I find that they never dry properly on me, don't prevent sweating, and then leave my armpits and clothes feeling sticky and gross. On the other hand, most aerosol deodorants haven't provided me with long-lasting effect, despite drying quickly and feeling much more comfortable in general. The closest I've come to success has been with the Dove and Rexona cream clinical protection deodorants, but they are a bit of a production to have to remember to apply the night before, and unfortunately both brands have left white marks on my darker shirts.
I picked this up purely on a whim - I've never liked any Nivea deodorants I've tried before, but I was in a hurry and this sounded okay. Much to my surprise, I really like it and it has worked just as well as my (expensive!) cream clinical protection deodorants, minus the application hassle!
It applies easily, with a really nice fine spray, smells nice and fresh, dries quickly, and so far seems to keep me dry all day which is huge for me! The only con is that it does sometimes seem to leave very faint white marks on a couple of my black singlets, but that's nothing at all compared to the cream and roll-on ones I've tried.
Obviously the real test will be once summer properly arrives and I'm combating heat as well, but from my experiences thus far I'm holding out hope that this will live up to the test!
I have been trialling this product out for a while now and I think for the price it does the job well. It doesn't keep me 100% dry but I don't get as sweaty as I have with other deodorants so I would say it does a pretty good job in that department although doesn't work wonders. I loved the scent of this, it wasn't too overpowering but made me feel like I smelt nice, even when I did start to get a little sweaty. The thing I loved most about this was that it didn't irritate my underarms at all, even post shaving, which is something I have found with many other deodorants in the past and it wasn't drying either. In short, would I repurchase, I am not sure, although it did work well and have a nice scent, I prefer roll on just because I do find that sprays can set off my allergies at times.
