Let's start with the pro's of this product: - The fragrance: Oh. My. Gosh. Think summer fruit cocktails at a bbq with friends. This fragrance is DIVINE, and smells almost good enough to drink (please refrain from doing this, but it is THAT good!). It's 96% Vegan and no 'nasties' which is always a good thing, especially when it comes to my precious mane. The promise of more volume came through, although there was a catch, see the not so great stuff paragraph below. You have to always give a product props when it delivers on its marketing promises. Value for money: I loved how little I needed of this product to get good coverage over all my hair. A little really does go a long way and one of these 350ml bottles would actually last longer than a 500ml bottle of my normal conditioner does. Now for the not so great stuff: although this product delivered on its 'more volume' promise, unfortunately it came at the expense of softness and shine. By the end of the trial period my hair was noticeably 'rougher' and a lot less shiny than normal. I was also struggling to get a wide tooth comb through my hair when it was wet after washing with this product. Initially my hair felt smooth after washing the conditioner out, but it was a different story when it came to trying to detangle and style afterwards. Unfortunately the divine smell and other pros of this product don't outweigh the not so great stuff, which was so disappointing as I would have gladly switched my normal haircare regime for these products - which is the highest praise I can give any product.

Like it's shampoo counterpart this Garnier line has been designed to look ridiculously cute! The scent is so yummy that you just want to eat it.
Very moisturising conditioner indeed! I am still trying to learn my lesson of using less product than I normally would.
The conditioner was great on my knotty hair and I didn't need much to deal with my fine damaged hair. It's always getting tangled, so I value that a lot!
Overall, pretty happy with this product because the main thing I look for in a conditioner is its ability to detangle and without needing a lot of product.
Loved this conditioner - smells divine, is really thick & creamy, and leaves my hair feeling super soft and shiny. It definitely gave my hair movement but I wouldn't say it added more volume. Absolutely love it though, would definitely repurchase.
Tips: Try out the hair food mask from the same range for a super intense weekly treatment, it's so good.
I have fine, thin, flat, smooth silky hair naturally.
Packaging - very colourful, eye catching and appealing, great that it is recyclable too. It is great that this product is vegan and has all natural ingredients.
Fragrance- I love that the smell is so refreshing, not overpowering fruity watermelon smell. However, when I have washed it off my hair, the smell became so subtle, I can barely smell any watermelon.
Texture- quite thick and because I have thin hair , I didn’t need to use much at all, a little goes a long way.
Volume -I usually leave my hair to airdry. This conditioner did not leave my hair flat, I can see that my hair has a slight bounce and volume.
Usually with conditioner, I would expect that my hair will be soft, silky, easy to comb and will not tangle easily this. My hair still had tangles after I washed this off, it wasn’t easy to just comb my hair.
Yes, it certainly gives volume , but I wanted a product which can make my hair look and feel smooth, silky and also volumised. I will not buy this at all because there are just better conditioners out there.
Garnier Fructis Hair Food Watermelon Conditioner comes in an easy-to-use compact bottle with a fun brightly designed label. It's made with 50% recycled plastic and the ingredients are of 97% Natural Origin. The conditioner smells fresh and fruity like Watermelons and leaves your hair smelling delicious. The conditioner detangles easily and rinses clean without leaving any oily residue. My hair felt incredibly soft and bouncy after using this conditioner.
Tips: You don't need a lot of conditioner but if you use too much it still rinses away cleanly.
I used this conditioner along with the shampoo. It has a lovely fruity scent to it which I liked. I applied to my hair following the shampoo and left for a few minutes and then rinsed. I definitely noted my hair had more volume after using this so I would use it again.
As I said in previous reviews, I was so happy to be selected for this trial team! I used this in conjunction with the shampoo and I'll say it again, I am certainly not a fan of the watermelon fragrance. Once I got past this issue, I really like the product. I love the packaging, its reminds me of fruit juice bottles which is a refreshing style in my shower. The bottles reminds me that we are part of 2021, we are conscious of our environment and keeping things as natural as possible - random, I know, but its just the vibe I get and im digging it! I left the conditioner on for a few mins and washed it out as normal. I did notice that my hair felt 'straw' like which was a bit worrying at the time. I went on to brush and dry and am pleased to say that this did not last! Once dried, my hair was soft, shiny and really wasn't weighed down at all! My hair stayed this way until I washed it again a couple of days later. I will certainly be using this again!
This handy 350ml sized conditioner is totally vegan without any animal origin or testing and doesn't contain any silicone. It smells just as you would expect of a watermelon scented conditioner and it has a nice creamy texture that leaves your hair easy to detangle after drying. I found my hair definitely had more volume without weighdown after using which is a bonus for my fine coloured hair so it does do what it says. The bottle is recyclable which is a bonus but I did find it hard to read the ingredients list on the bottle as the print is quite small. The conditioner bottle is a different colour to the shampoo which is helpful for anyone like myself that struggles to read without glasses.
Tips: Use in conjunction with the shampoo and the hair mask for optimum results.
This product promises to give your hair volume and bounce. Moisturising while not weighing your hair down. And fast. Fast because you can apply and rinse straight out. I used this on my fine hair after using the matching shampoo and followed the directions on the bottle. (Which is both recycled AND recyclable...I did like this aspect). The white lotion is of standard consistency and smells pleasantly of watermelon. However, I did not find it very moisturising. This combined with the drying effect of the shampoo, left my normally soft feeling hair, rough and straw-ish. I think the main purpose of a conditioner is to detangle and smooth hair. Unfortunately, this only ticked one of those boxes.
i used this after the watermelon shampoo, it felt quite moisturising, not a deep conditioner but a nice and light one. I could feel my hair getting a little volume when i applied the conditioner. My hair wasn't as dry after getting out of the shower as other conditioners leave it but its definitely not a hydrating one.
Tips: Use with the watermelon hair mask as a leave in conditioner - leaves your hair feeling soft and moisturised.
