this is a very glittery bath bomb which is cute but kind of annoying to clean up as it leaves a glittery residue on my bath. otherwise a very nice citrus smell which is definitely very relaxing and leaves my skin feeling soft and beautiful.

This is such an interesting bath bomb. I had to try it after hearing it was a glittery bath bomb. Because who doesn't love glitter.
The Dragon's Egg bath bomb is at first glance not that exciting. It's a cream colour with a couple of spots of colour. It does kinda look like a dragon's egg though.
Once you get it in the water it fizzes out a huge froth of cream coloured bubbling water. And then you see glitter starting to emerge and then you have a full on bath with the bath bomb still fizzing itself out, glitter and confetti. There is also a lovely citrus scent that comes with this bath bomb that makes the bathroom also smell lovely.
The bath tub does look a little messy after this this dragon egg explosion. So I find washing it down while its still fresh is easiest.
Your skin will also feel nice and soft and smooth after a bath like this.
All in all it's a fantastic bath bomb.
I bought this in a gift pack with 4 other bath bombs, as I wanted to try them out. I wasn't sure what to expect but what my bath looked and smelt like exceeded my expectations!
The Dragon Egg Bath Bomb lets off a very citrus like smell that was super refreshing and .. for the best part ... the middle was filled with glitter!
The contents of this bath bomb also left my skin feeling amazing. Would definitely recommend this as a special treat for yourself.
Absolutely love this bath bomb! Super refreshing citrus scent that fills the whole bathroom. Perfect for a little perk-me-up. The bath bomb is a decent size and doesn't look like much on the outside but when popped into your ready, warm bath water, it fizzes and deteriorates (like any bath bomb) BUT eventually releases this fantastic gold glitter! Some people despise bath bombs packed with glitter but each to their own because I love it. What else is pretty neat about this is it has popping/crackling bits in it which, you guessed it, pops and crackles. All in all, it's a super messy but super fun bath bomb.
There are definitely skin benefits that come along with this fun and mess. After my bath I find that my skin is left feeling soft and supple. Because I have extremely dry skin, I always lock in the moisture given by the bath bomb by pat drying my skin with a towel then immediately applying moisturizer. This always leaves my skin feeling soft for almost the rest of the day. If you have less dryer skin than I do, the Dragon's Egg bath bomb will probably be more effective for you. Absolutely love lush stuff and this is no different!
I loooove Lush bathbombs. Buut normally, I am 100% of a sucker for the most colourful one on the shelf, or the one packed with the most flowers etc. The clean up is always a pain - but I figure if you're gunna relax - do it in style! :). The one is probably what appeared to be the plainer of them; but the name was cute. So I had to give it a go. Initially I put it in the bath, and it didn't do a whole lot. Once the first layer has fizzed - it was definitely a party in the bath! Confetti, Glitter, Fizzing - the lot. Once the party had died down, there wasn't a lot going on - but the bath smelt sooo good (but not over powering) and I added yet another tick to another lush product!
Tips: It helps to keep a jug handy next to the bath for the end with bombs like this. The best advice, when you drain the bath - fill the jug and pour it all down/wash it at the same time! Glitter and confetti is not fun when it gets stuck coz its dry! :)
Don't let the pale white shell of this dragons egg fool you... oh no... the colourful confetti dots that peek out aren't the only exciting thing about this bath bomb.
The scent is a sweet citrus-y tangerine which is meant to help to reduce stress, the is apparently popping candy inside as well but I didn't hear, see or feel any. The outer shell took a long time to dissolve and it created a layer of foam across the top of the bath water but eventually revealed a bright orange center followed by an eruption of golden glitter.
It was very pleasant and relaxing, moisturising and very entrancing with the swirling glitter amongst the golden waters. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was the rice-paper confetti, by the time that dissolved fully my bath was getting cold and as I hopped out it clung to my skin (as did the glitter, I loved the glitter though).
I really wanted to love this.. It looks so beautiful, a lovely pale yellow with cute confetti speckled throughout and the scent- it reminds me of sherbet, sweet but with a slight tangy kick. When first dropped into the tub I noticed that it seemed to foam a bit more than some of the other bath bombs I've tried, it was beautiful! this pale yellow/creamy coloured orb fizzing around the surface leaving a trail of foam and confetti then slowly releasing an orangey colour- gorgeous! after a bit I started to notice glitter, just a little at first and then a truckload of the stuff. I'm not keen on looking like a disco ball post bath time and it is a pain to clean out of the tub!
I am a self-confessed Lush addict, and I have tried my fair share from their bath bomb range, and I have to say that I think this product is one of my favourites.
This Lush bath bomb in roughly the size of a tennis ball, and has the same shame as well. It has a soft scrambled egg color, with colourful confetti cutouts that can be seen before the bath bomb even touches the water.
I have to admit, I do find it hard to smell bath bombs because they are all stored together, so they all end up smelling quite similar, but when it comes to this one i think it smells slightly sweet.
This bath bomb is so exciting. When it touches the water it fizzes around like crazy leaving a trail of creamy foam and colourful confetti behind. When it starts to fizz down a little more, it hits a colour centre (I have had orange) Whatever colour the centre, your whole bath turns that colour, and then when it fizzes down some more, it hits a gold glitter centre.. and i love me some glitter.
I just think this bath bomb is exciting and really is worth your money because it smells good, it puts on a show, and it has confetti, glitter and colour. I also find this is a breeze to clean up, as long as i give it a quick rinse straight after my bath. This is one of my favs from Lush and I would buy it again in a heart beat.
This bath bomb makes your bath look magical. It is full of different colours and inside is the surprise of glitter. It makes your bath look amazing, it's pretty easy to clean up as well and doesn't stick on your skin. I found that the scent was pretty overwhelming and intense, it's a citrus scent which I usually like but I just found this one to be a bit too much.
I really love this bath bomb! Bath bombs are not a thing I invest in often as paying over $5 just for a bath is something I'm not willing to do... however, when I want to pamper myself this is what I go for!
The scent is lovely (lemony, fresh) and the bath bomb itself is soothing and wonderful to look at. It does leave a bit of glittery residue in my bath but as I don't use these too often I'm fine with it.
Overall I love this bath bomb, I don't buy it often as it is quite expensive just for a bath but when I want to treat myself I get this.
