New Holly Grail item!

I used the BR deal to get this with the free samples online. It was delivered promptly and well wrapped. I was over the moon

I've been using it everyday religiously. Either both morning and night or just once.

The bottle is the same as the rosehip. It screams trilogy which I love. It is the heavy glass with the squeeze top to suck the oil up the tube.

I use approx 6 drops. Apply it after I've showered or cleansed. I smooth it all over my face, down my neck onto my chest. I use the left over on the backs of my hands and will even apply a extra drop if all the oil has soaked in. I wait a hour and then apply either a day cream or night one for added boost.

The oil is a real yellow colour. Doesn't smell and soaks into my skin really easy. Some oils I have tried do cause me to break out in wee spots which I hate! This hasn't done that at all!

I honestly believe this is helping make my skin so much smoother, clearer and less red. I have been concentrating on my skincare and do mix and match what I use. I am fussy and get rid of things that I don't see to be making a difference. I won't apply it "just cause this is meant to do..." With turning 40 next year I want to make sure it's the real good products I'm using and I love the ingredients trilogy choose to use.

Will I buy this again? Heck yes! And I'll be doing it soon so I have a back up ready to go

Tips: Waiting for it to soak in first makes day and night creams work even better

A must have!

Packaging. Stylish classic Trilogy style. Easy to use squeeze top dropper.

Scent. Very subtle

oil: lightweight, soaks into my skin easily.

Results: my skin tone has evened out and cleared up. No spots here. My skin feels soft and subtle. I am sure the fine lines that had started developing are not as obvious.

I highly recommend this product.

Tips: Use morning and night. I use a very small amount in the morning prior to my light moisturiser and foundation. At night I tend to use more and either use it on its own or pop my night cream on after it has been soaking in for a while.

Rosehip magic

I want to start by pointing out that I can't actually spot any differences between this one and the standard version, which kind of feels like I'm double dipping these reviews, but....

I picked this up through a BR advertisement, offering a half sized bottle for half the usual price with free shipping and samples. Trilogy got a bit confused with the samples, I think, and sent out 2 instead of three, but rectified that after it was publicised on the forum.

Just like the original version, this is a much hyped product that DOES deliver on those promises and claims.

As with the other type, I find that:

- my facial skin loves this as a spot treatment, but gets a bit oily if I use it as a whole-face moisturiser

- rosehip oil makes an incredible hair mask/serum

- rosehip oil helps minor scars, scratches and skin ickies heal much more quickly on the test of my body

The bottle looks classy, the product smells lovely, it's a non greasy oil that isn't icky to use because of the oil aspect, and it's reasonably priced for a product that you only use a tiny bit of at a time. Nature creates the best products sometimes, and Trilogy have really nailed bottling and on-selling one such product.

I personally can't tell the difference between the two, so it's a judgement call really. I'm sure the antioxidant version has been researched and planned carefully, and it's just me who doesn't know the difference :)

Liquid GOLD

I bought this bottle using the BR deal, it arrived pretty fast with 2 samples from Trilogy. I love the packaging, the bottle of Rosehip oil comes with a little dropper which is very hygienic.

I have been using it religiously every night before bed. I wash my face with my usual cleanser and apply 3 drops to cover my entire face. A bottle would definitely last me a long time. I wake up in the morning, washing my face I can feel my skin is so soft, smooth, moisturising, looking healthy & rejuvenated.

I have dry skin especially in the winter. This Rosehip Oil is such a skin saver. The oil has a yellow colour with a gently earthy lovely scent. It is literally oil but not greasy at all. In fact, I love using plant oils on my face. It absorbs into my skin like a dream without any residue on clothes or pillow cases. It also keeps my acne's at bay which is amazing.

I have been so confident with my skin lately that I go out without having makeups on. I couldn't be happier with this product and will definitely repurchase it.

I would recommend this to everyone. Seriously it's affordable and well worth the price.

Tips: It is a must have!

Great!

Love this stuff. I try apply it at nighttime because oil does not look good on the skin haha. It feels a bit gross applying oil to the skin but when I wake up in the morning my skin feels so soft and moisturized. I alternate this with a night cream. I've also used this for stretch marks and it worked wonders! You can only slightly see the stretch marks I used it on. Great consistency (not too runny), good packaging and easy to use with a little dropper. P.S I've heard Kate Middleton used this while pregnant as it is natural skincare.

Golden glow

So all the hype with this oil and the fact that I've used rosehip oils I thought I'd try this rosehip antioxidant oil.

A nice brown glass bottle with a black rubber top with a glass dropper on, press the top it sucks up the right amount of oil. So into the palm of my hand I squeeze the dropper outcomes this antioxidant oil, I look down into the pool of golden liquid it looks so lovely, first impression I find smells a little niffy similar to cod liver oil ew. Thank goodness it's just a faint scent with a very quick departure within 5 minutes I couldn't smell it on my skin.

A non grainy light oil, I smear this all over my cleansed face while I'm waiting for it to soak in I clean my teeth then proceed with a cream. I found I had to wait around while I was waiting for this to absorb, so I used less with a little more effort put into rubbing it in. I did find after exfoliating I did get better results with the absorption factor also using less helped.

End result was nice soft skin that was left a little greasy, I decided to just use it at night time as I found I was left with too much shine on my face also my foundation wasn't happy going on with this under my moisturiser. I felt this sat on my skin with only a little absorbing in. I haven't found any difference in my skin's elasticity using this. Moisture levels yes an improvement.

All and all a lovely product that delivers so worth trying.

Tips: A couple of drops mixed into my moisturiser works wonders :)

Bottled Gold!

Beauty Review's First Lady announced that if you bought the new, limited edition (I guess) 15ml size of the Rosehip oil with antioxidants, you would get some free samples. I wanted to try the oil anyway to see how it compared to the regular, so the samples were the icing on the cake.

The bottle is pretty decently sized and it was bigger than what I imagined, which is always a lovely surprise. It is a glass bottle with a dropper, which is perfect for getting the right amount of drops into your hand. The color of the oil is lovely and golden. I use 2-3 drops mixed into another serum and it's the perfect amount.

The smell of rosehip oil always put me off, I mean it smells like roses but never really smells like roses. This is actually one of the better smelling rosehip oils I've tried, so it's okay with me. I got used to the smell pretty quick and now I don't even notice it going onto my face.

I have oily skin, so this is a great combat oil, as I feel like it balances the oil production out, as well as being lovely. It goes on really nice and smooth and I really like how it feels on my face. It doesn't make me break out, I feel like it calms my skin down and it's just a generally lovely oil. I am definitely going to repurchase this when I run out.

Skin Rejuvenator

I tend to use the rosehip oil at night, as part of my night regime. Since i have started to use the rosehip oil i have slowly seen the improvement of my skin tone-with my acne scars fading away. In the morning, it has left my skin moisturized and soft.

<3 this wee product

I love rosehip oil and I love NZ products, so I've been using the Trilogy Reship Oil Antioxidant+ for years now, including taking it overseas with me when I lived in Japan.

This product is great for settling my combination, sensitive skin, calming any dry or red patches without causing me to break out. Three drops of this massaged into my face before I moisturise is all it takes to noticeably improve my skin.

But you know what's even better than a great product? A great product in a smaller size that I actually get through in the 6 months before you are supposed to throw out beauty products! Clearly I'm not the only one that struggled to get through 30ml (a little goes a long way with that stuff!), so I'm delighted they've brought out this size.

Tips: Rosehip oil is an amazing multi-tasking product. If you haven't tried it yet, get on the bandwagon!

Not the best of smells.

I bought this to trial as there was a special 1/2 size for 1/2 price special on the BR website. I will not be buying this again, infact I am trying to figure out how to use the rest of it without getting the smell. I have gotten rosehip oil before and never gotten the smell but this one was stinky and not in a good way, maybe it shows purity.

As an oil it uses a dropper system with the bottle. The golden oil seems readily absorbed in the skin leaving a light sheen where it has gone. It seemed do good things in the small number of times i have used it, making skin softer not giving any reaction with it and seeming to stay on the skin for a few days when I tried on my feet after a foot bath. Maybe I just got a bad smelling batch but I'm not tempted to find out with repeat purchase of this that said I will look at repurchasing and trying new Trilogy items.
