I am a huge fan of Lush but unfortunately could not fall in love with this product. I found it super drying and the red tint came out more like an orange colour. I'm not sure if it is supposed to have moisturising properties, but for me I found it really drying and had take it off as it just didn't glide on very well. I even tried the lip scrub before it to see if that would make a difference. It also smelt like playdoh? The good thing about it though is the price and the amount of product you get in the tin as a little goes a long way. I didn't like it, but my friend did......lol

I was lucky enough to be gifted this wee tint by a fellow BR babe!
Definitely my first time using a lip tint so wasn't 100% sure how it all worked. It's like a lip balm in a cute wee tint but has a pigment where as a balm doesn't
I expected it to be quite like a balm to apply but the tint was really hard! I used a brush to apply it which helped applying it to the lips unfortunately the vibrancy I expected just wasn't there, instead it was quite dull and a sad looking red.
I'm not a fan of the scent either, it's much like the santa lip scrub which I purchased last year and gifted to a friend as I didn't like the smell if it.
I won't be using this product as for me it was a dissapointment :(
I received a little tin of this in the Lush WOW gift box I bought in the boxing day sales. I had no opinion of it, as I hadn't gone looking for reviews and I hadn't tried this or any other of Lush's tints.
The tub is metal and the lid pulls off, but is on tight enough it wouldn't fall off in your hand bag and go everywhere. The color is a lovely vibrant red and I was hoping the pigment of it would be the same on my lips. It also smells like the lip scrub, cola! It's quite lovely.
This actually makes me look like I've been eating red ice blocks or drinking red cordial. Maybe applied with a lip brush it would be better but good grief it is so hard to get it to stay on the lips rather than around the mouth. Another thing I dislike - mine is super hard. It's also past it use-by date, so that may be a contributing factor, I'm not sure. But either way, I'm not impressed. I wouldn't purchase this again.
I was so excited to try this lip tint, a cracking bright red lip tint perfect for Christmas Day I thought. I have a bright red dress picked out for Christmas Day this year and have been looking for a bright red lipstick to match, so while placing a recent lush order I added this to the cart hoping I would have the perfect red.
It comes in a small metal tin with a screw top lid, the tint is really hard so you have to swirl your finger around the product a few times just to pick up some of the colour. Once I get some of the colour I apply it to my lips, it's quite hard to apply and it feels like it's quite waxy. It has the same cola scent as the Santa lip scrub. The colour is red but not vibrant enough for me. It has a more of a matte finish and just looks really dull nothing stands out about it or really wows me.
This should also be renamed to a lip stain because sheesh does it take some scrubbing to remove it, leaving an orange stain behind on the lip that took a good amount of lip scrub to remove every trace of it. Overall I'm quite disappointed with this tint because Lush products are usually great, won't be using again and I am searching again for the perfect Christmas red.
